Oh I see. Admittedly I last really played FM 2016 version (have 2017 though). I had all the series from FM 2005 and basically at the end the January, you can download a patch update, that will update January transfers and player attributes for those that have had a good first half of the season to reflect current form and potential. For instance I would have assumed Mctominay's (Man Utd) stats would probably show improvements.
