Got my approved study visa yesterday.

Good day house and am new here.

I applied for south Africa study visa since 08/02/2019 and till now I haven't heard from the embassy and when ever I track it via the vsf site, I get "your application has been received and under assessment by the south Africa high commission in Lagos"

I am worried because it's taking longer than anticipated and there is no way I can do the registration without the visa. My research supervisor is already asking me how far with the visa.

Secondly, are they not supposed to invite me for an interview?

Tell your school to mail them.

Is this the same message that was on your dashboard when you tracked or "ready for collection" which of them please.

My dashboard changed to this "Your application has been assessed by "The South Africa High Commission,Lagos" and is being returned to the LAGOS."

Does it mean its ready for collection?

Please someone should help. I have not gotten an email though.

Please did anyone get there visas recently... I mean study visa..

It is quite unfortunate

It took me only a week after the submission of my application to get a study permit about 8 to 9 years ago during my first trip to the country.

It is quite sad now that it takes nearly two months to get the same visa just 8 years after.

Just hope for the best bro.

My study visa application will be 10 weeks tomorrow. I submitted January 24th!

Is really frustrating after paying all the fees even the medical insurance is active since 1st March

Someone applied for Visa on the 11th of March and got it on Wednesday 27th of March. She paid for VIP which only cost 12800 naira extra

But it's not study visa she applied for na.

VFS Abuja is also slow. Submitted feb 11th got my passport back 16th of March...

Lucky you. I applied January 24 for my study visa. This is the 8th week.

Good evening, guys. I have been following this room for almost a month now but never responded or reply because my former account was no longer active hence I can only view. I just fixed it. I applied for my study visa on the 24th of January going for my MTech in Food Technology at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology Bellville Capetown. But till now Vfs has not released my passport. Any help I can get from guys here. I am ready bothered. This is the 8th week.
