if he indeed is able to go,That's sign he's getting better. however, If the trip Is cancelled, that man is a gonner. |
When the going was good, It was OUR killer gang. now its THEIR killer gang |
If every footballer can emulate this guy by doing this to football academies, woe betide the govt of the day! |
Nigeria politicians are slowpoke. and this guy seems to be the brightest among the youngest crop of northern politicians. why the prayer? To prove that he is loyal to president buhari and not eyeing the aso rock house in 2019. stupidity |
Big fool |
perfect example of TIT for TAT. She becomes very rich though |
There was once a south west politician too, Gbenga Daniel, who used to run his mouth anyhow. He crumbled like a pack of cards. Keeping quiet is a political strategy |
The Minister of Magic!!! |

The Igbos who saw the 1967 war would never call for Biafra, as Nnamdi KANU, someone with no international recognition and pedigree is calling. |
Nigerians dont take both amaechi and wike serious anymore. They act like overzealous siblings trying to impress their parent |
so funny. I was just ten, and drank a little bit of brandy. not bad though! however, was so foolish to have gone to meet mum immediately to ask something. The breath gave me out. |
Just like the Apostle Paul in his epistle to the Philippians.. "..... Hebrew of Hebrews, of the tribe of Benjamin, circumcised on the eight day". I am writing this article, " A Yoruba boy, South westerner, a Lagosian to the core and a great fan of the mentorship of the Political sage, shrewd manager of resources and persons". The sage is Bola Ahmed Tinubu. and nairalanders, I am an afonja. I am saddened also by the continued stay in London of President Buhari, the " 74 year old " president who has been Missing in action for more than seventy days. I pray he comes back in good health Many people have pointed out that the Bourdillion estate Lord "is" the grandmaster of Political chess in Nigeria. well, I need to change that "is" to "was". the jagaban of borgu kingdom has lost all political wars in the past two years and I dont think losing heavily and repeatedly is part of being a masterclass. He lost the Senate presidency, House speakership, The party structure, and the presidency was hijacked by q combination of THE CABAL, and THE FORMER PROTEGEES of the ex governor who grew up. Yet, light seems to be opening up for the biggest political victory of his career. In 1959, John Kennedy wanted to run for presidency of the United States of America. It wasn't a secret that his father wanted any of his four sons to rule. the first born was dead and the onus was on John. The democrats were rallying forces together but there remained a contentious issue, a little one but complicated, THE VICE PRESIDENCY. That was the most humiliating post in american presidency. the defacto vice president was always the secretary of state, or attorney general. John Kennedy remembered his enemy, Lyndon Johnson who WAS senate leader. If Lyndon was left alone, he could make things hard for him if he became president. He met him at his farm and threw the humiliating post to him. The aides of Lyndon Johnson were angry and humiliated. London took up the offer. "why would u take a step low sir?" the concerned aides asked... He gave an epic historical reply. " eight in twenty five american presidents have died in the last year, u can see my odds?". He became President three years later. Back to Nigeria, the adoptive son of the iyaloja of Lagos couldn't have most his political masterclass to have backed the wrong horse in the party primaries. A tinubu in atiku presidency would be like fish on land, same with the okorocha, who is a sly creature feared by all in the APC.... Perhaps kwankwanso could offer an easy route to prominence but he lacked national outlook. Did he play a political masterclass by studying the Yaradua history book? Was that why he desperately wanted to be the vice presidential aspirant? But there seems that there would be light at the end of the tunnel for Jagaban. |
Imagine wale tinubu being sure that his company is the one to get the deal, while the minister is saying otherwise.... #there is cabal |
This is not a school really!!! Africa would always be that "black" country with acts like this. |
So obvious PDP would have won last election if they have fielded someone but not Omisore |
NIGERIAN YOUTHS: WAY FORWARD? Our Parents or Much Older relatives one way or the other fed us with tales, feeding us this tales with so much excitement and you could even sense them blushing as they told these stories. An uncle of mine, a very nice and Godly man was particularly good ar stressing, " railway ". " Immediately we left secondary school, we became hot cakes. They would start chasing us right, left, and centre. The offer was just too impressive, sometimes a car would be attached. " Gone are the days", they would end it, saying how the government has failed the youth. Yes, they are quite right. The government has failed the youth but the area of failure has changed in scope. The 20th century has made way for the 21st century. Then, government was the highest employer of labour, Now, they are the least employer. The Redeemed Christian church of God employ more staffs than many state government. Private firms and a new brand of employers,, The CEO's of SMEs, though with staff strength of between 2 and 30, have spread like weed but they've grown where they are needed and wanted, and consider that we have close to 2 million SMEs in Nigeria. Most of them are Nigerian graduates who have learnt one trade or the other and have added tertiary education knowledge, swag, and freshness to business. In 2016, the government of change led by the ailing Muhammadu Buhari-- a very good man but one who has spent more days outside the country than within ever since been elected in an historic election in 2015 has unveiled one of its brain child, N-POWER, all designed to train Nigerian youths, solve unemployment, and raise entrepreneurs. From afar, it seems a good initiative but it can only cater for about two hundred thousand youths( dont mind the hefty figures brandied about ). it focuses solely on Teaching, agro, I.T, but it can't cater for the over 38 million Nigerian youths and the meagre allowance of #23000 is a big shame. the 19800 earned in service has taught us some lessons. my brain did some mental calculations. An npower beneficiary is at least 25 who is not expected to rely on His parents for any money for whatsoever thing he needs. he is expected to be a man or a lady who is independent of mind and purpose. Npower if even successful doesn't guarantee a choice job because most big corporations dont advertise job vacancies anymore. even CBN and DSS now do do secret recruitments as we found out early this year. Youths, Arise! Obey the clarion call but let us be less stupid and more proactive. The future is now in sale of foods and vocational skills which one can expand to become very big. Pap powder, dried egg, mango flakes, customised wears, bead, cake, and snacks, Ankara craft, even chewing stick seems to be the way forward for us. please let us unstarch our white collar, and learn a skill and advise our younger ones to learn a skill in school. That is the way forward. |
in advanced countries, this is enough to warrant his resignation.... |
Bad News. The fire seems to be a really huge one. I hope no life was lost. |
Concerning this case, let the truth be told. I started doubting the dismissed chaplain's story when he was praising the former first lady. |
The FA cup final kicks off 17.30 today. The most prestigious domestic Cup Competition in the world has generated numerous build ups, most especially, The Alexis Sanchez transfer saga, the undisputed best player of the arsenal team, and fellow contract rebel, Mezut Ozil. The only questions on the arsenal fan's lips are, "Would they sign? Or Not?" For We Nigerians, the build up centres around our interest in the arsenal team, Alexander Iwobi, the 21 year old nephew of perhaps the greatest Nigerian player of all time. The young lad burst unto the scene and prominence in a champions league fixture in February last year, taking full advantage of Injury to Oliver Giroud and starting the beginning of The Alexis Sanchez as centre forward. the young lad put in a performance reminiscent of a Young Jack Wilshere in 2011. He was the gunners best player in a second leg 3-1 loss at the camp nou, the centre of a penalty shout and putting Dani Alves under constant pressure. The future seemed bright and the young lad stated the next ten fixtures, as the season reached a end with the gunners trophyless. Nevertheless, everyone appreciated the young lad's five assists in just twenty games, a fair return, considering the array of creators in the team. 2016/2017 was expected to be great for young Alex. as the popular saying goes, "As the evening is expected to be, we would know in the morning", That saying seemed to be right as the season began, Three goals and six assists followed up till December, and then the saying above stated to prove false in the young lad's case. The team began a bad patch which had been a norm with arsenal in recent years- That team consistently began to struggle in big games and went a step worse by losing smaller games too. Losses to West brom, crystal palace, and the likes worsened an already bad season. This prompted a change in tactics for the much maligned arsene Wenger among the fans. A three at the back and use of inside playmakers( Ozil and Sanchez) leaving them off the flank, leaving the work to full backs converted to Wing backs more or less like Chelsea which had triggered a change in approach as well as results. Instant results followed with the arsenal team unbeaten till this day. So where can iwobi learn from? Its simple. Look at the The player he ought to have been marking today all things being equal- Victor Moses. Iwobi was not flexible enough and that's the reason for his absence in the arsenal line up.His lack of flexibility meant he was sacrificed. If he doesn't change, he may well end up as Kelechi Iheanacho who is moving to West ham soon, a far step backward from man city. |
This interview shows the stupidity of this man. Now in APC, forming saint |
Nairaland is a real dumping ground ... |
Summon a federal minister?? Which state house does that ?? |
Nigerian Politics and that fake smile for the cameras is shameful ehn |
