I am interested but the property is way overpriced for Osogbo. If you are willing to reduce the price considerably, then I am ready to buy right away. Please post pix also. |
This chorus of this song summarizes it for me - "I need no other argument, I need no other creed, it is enough that Jesus died and that He died for me. Thank you Lord for your sacrifice for me so that I can be restored and have a personal relationship with my heavenly father. |
What a beautiful thread. God has been faithful to me over the years. I looked back and saw the hand of God guiding and leading me through easy and difficult times. One thing that I have learned and of which I am convinced about is that truly "Blessed (or happy) are you if you do and obey the commands and words of the Lord". For the hearing of the word, as important as it is profiteth nothing, but it is in the doing that God is glorified and we are blessed. My daily prayer is to be led of, and by the Holy Spirit and for God to "remove far from me vanity and lies; give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me" (Proverbs 30: .May the Lord keep us and help us to finish the race that He has set before us, I pray that none of us will fail God and fall short of His calling for us. |
One question that Ribadu needs to answer for me is that so everything he said about Tinubu when he was the EFCC chairman is no longer valid and true?, or did he look the other way just for political expediency?. It just showed that none of these clowns parading themselves as politicians in Nigeria have any principle or love of the country. They are all in it for themselves, and now Ribadu has joined with ANPP presidential candidate and Atiku to play tribal politics. What a shame. I will rather vote GEJ for his sincerity and for a change, his academic credentials and experience (even as limited as is, it is still better than any of the other candidate) than any of these clowns and ass-kissers. |
Where in Ajao estate - street name. |
Anyone that can forfeit over $500,000.00 to an American agency definitely stole the money and the same person after milking Lagos state dry is now parading himself as the savior of the southwest from the PDP. This charade of politicians that we have in Nigeria are all the same, all of them are thieves and riggers. We need to stop kidding ourselves and stop blaming one party while exonerating the other - PDP and ACN are all the same - corrupt and vote riggers. Do not allow yourself to be used in aligning with any of the political parties, exercise your vote and vote your conscience, not along party lines. I will never vote for Tinubu for anything, but I might vote for the likes of Fashola, Aregbesola, Jonathan, not because of the party they belong to but because of their character. Don't be used and dumped or better yet killed because of a politicians - especially people with dubious character like Tinubu. Their children are overseas enjoying our money that their father had looted and yet, innocent children and others are running errands, campaigning, demonstrating and in the process having their life wasted away. Please wake up people and let your people in Nigeria be aware lest they will be used as usual. |
In a nutshell, life has taught me that love covers all - that is the Love of Christ and my dwelling in His love. With that I can endure all things for love is longsuffering, which means that to truely demonstrate love - you (and I) are going to learn to endure each other while living together whether in a committed relationship, friends or as a neighbor. |
We should thank God for His mercies endures for ever. God is merciful and sovereign and in His time, He has chosen to hear and answer your prayer. The Just shall leave by Faith - may you increase in faith even as you have witnessed the hand of God. |
A faithful husband for 30-years. |
What is the asking price?. |

@ Donevero: As an atheist, you seem to act counter to others belief, without believing in anything. That in itself is a fallacy. Your premise as an atheist is that God does not exist and as such those that believe in God are simple minded and cannot reason nor rationalize. That again is a fallacy and as a student of psychology, you should know that your claim as an atheist and not believing in anything is not logical. However, I want to address some issues that you should logically consider in your unbelieving mind. 1. If God does not exist, then all the things that we experienced and see must have come into being by happenstance. That is not logical, the orderliness and the complexity of things around us, even some that up till now still defies scientific explanation, showed that there is a higher being that created this complexity and orderliness. 2. Science did not discover anything, but rather tries to find explanation for what has been created. Everything has been created, we as humans are trying to find out the mechanism of these creations and how we can best apply these intricacies to resolve other human problems. 3. God created a perfect man in Adam and prepared a place for him to nurture, but God gave man a choice by presenting Adam the two trees, explained the consequences of choosing either one of them and allowed Adam to make his choice. That in itself is a God like quality, for our parents, growing up rarely gave us a choice. God instituted a choice theory so as not to create a zombie. 4. What we choose then is up to us, just as you have choosing not to believe in God and God allowed you to choose whether to believe in Him or not knowing the consequences of your choice. 5. You seems to know some parts of the Bible, but you have chosen to use the areas that you feel like using while using them also out of context. For if you have taken time to read through the old Testament, you would have seen where God told His people exactly what will happen in the future - some as far off as 400-years, forewarned them and told them what they should do to prevent such occurrence and yet they choose to do the opposite and hence they have to face the consequence of their choices. Same thing applies now, we are allowed to choose knowing the consequences of our action or inaction, however, once we choose, we have no control over the consequence. In closing, let me remind you of what the Lord - Jesus Christ said in Luke 9:56 - "For the son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them." I wish you well in your choices, but I advise that you choose right. |
Nairalanders, please help this lady (see below) out as some of you have done in the past. Thanks ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ SIR: I am a 28-year old half Nigerian female, my father met my mother in Aberdeen Scotland in the 70s and I was born in 1981. My father Samaila Zatto left Aberdeen when I was four as far as I know and I have no memory of him. I would appreciate any help you could give me in trying to trace him as I would like to know the other half of me. Zinat Zatto, e-mail: Zeinat_zatto@hotmail.com |
@ Evil Brain. With you admission that homosexuality is a sin means that it is a choice. Using your analogy, the fact that you love women is your choice. Eventhough, there is a natural affection between man and woman does not mean that man have to lust after woman. Looking is different from touching which is different from having sex. It is a progression which any man can stop at any time, yes, you can look but not touch (by choice) and yes, you can touch without carrying it further into having sex. |
@ Olafolarin "He voluntarily forfeited less than $500k met in his account which the judge claimed is not well accounted for.And that was the period when progressives in Diaspora were "oiling" international press to put pressure on the then FG for the actualisation of June 12.Tinubu was thick in its action and as such funds were traced to his account.Despite massive interrogations on the case,he was acquited of all charges after agreeing to forfeit the $500k.And this judgement was delivered by a judge who has the most conservative records in Chicago's legal/judicialhistory." Can you volunteer to forfeit that kind of money if the source is legitimate and it is your hard earned money. I beg not. The problem is that we Nigerians like to celebrate mediocrity. Tinubu is clearly a man that should have been in jail in a civilized society - his stealing, drug running and clearly juicy consultancy job at the tune of 2-billion naira a month for himself; it is only in Nigeria that when you leave office, you can immediately milk and continue to milk the same government, in other civilized countries, there is always a "cooling-off" time where you cannot get any contract from the government, or agency that you had worked for. How can some on the commentators here see anything good in Tinubu and for him to be parading himself as asiwaju of whatever is an insult to the Yoruba race and a desecration of the ideals that Baba Awolowo stood for. When are we going to stop this nonsense of misplaced idolization but rather let our adoration be on performance. Someone had asked what are the achievements of Tinubu to which nobody has been given a response. Because Tinubu himself has no track record of performance that is why he cannot criticise the performance of anybody or else what is he comparing Akala performance to, if it is to Fasola, yes Akala failed woefully, but if it in comparison to himself, Tinubu failed woefully. |
Why don't you marry one and find out. |
Do they force it down your throat. FCMB offered 25k, which you are free to accept or not. So why are you complaining when you are free to walk away from it. Some people are just full of themself. |
Pictures please. |
Can you please email your price list to tfadiora@netscape.net. Thanks |
I hate to generalize, but as an architect and engineer with over 20-years of practise in the USA, I was only sharing my experience on Chines building products and the fact that they have been deemed dangerous to be used in housing construction. Most of their building products have been denied entry into the USA because they constitute health hazards. Any one is free to buy and install these products into their houses, but it is always good to learn from someone's experiences and not necessarily yours becuase if you wait to learn from yours - it might be fatal. |
What is your asking price?. Also do you have pictures. |
Any picture that you can post? |
I hope your import is not from China, if they are then they are not safe to be used in homes. Here in the US the government has asked that homes built with building materials from China be torn down or else the occupants will be infected and be seriously sick. Please stay away from using Chinese building materials. |
What is the asking price?. |
A coup at this time will be welcome to teach those Yaradua boys that they cannot hold the Country in ransome. Essentially, that is what is going on, Jonathan is incapacitated and cannot act, the country has been sleeping and dragging backwards for the past 90+ days - stagnant. Nigerians need to wake up, the politicians are worse administrators and are just embezzlers - with trillions spent in all the tiers of government, what has been the benefit to common people, but rather the fat lards get richer and are not satisfied stealing millions of naira anymore, but rather billions are being stolen in bright daylight. It is time for a change, we need to design and fashion our own democracy to fit our peculiarity. The one we are practising now is not working but rather increases corruption at all levels of government. Stop being sentimental and don't let the beneficiaries of the current political system manipulate your mind, be rational and think for yourself. |
@ Onlytruth Isn't that what you want?. Again, they are still exhibiting the same confused state of mind. Never accept defeat and loosing relevance, the xtics of the Igbos, believe me the rest of us Nigerians will not loose sleep if you separate, actually, we want you to separate, for Nigeria will be better for it. |
@ Asha80. Why don't you all (Igbos) just leave Nigeria, no one is holding you back, just take the five(5) states that constitute the Igboland and leave. That will save the rest of us, a lot of headache and we do not need to deal of whining babies. In case you do not know, the act that was committed by your likes are treasonable felonies and all Igbos that still hold on to the biafra state of mind are felons and should be treated as such. I am waiting for the time that the rest of the country will wake up and decide to withdraw Nigerian citizenship from Igbos and hence withdraw their passports, that truly will be the day that the re-branding of Nigeria will be complete and the slogan "great nation, good people" will actually apply. |
