TimiOS:Some registered Estate Surveyors are the ones making things harder. I wanted to get 3bed flat, and the rent was 600k. The agent in charge wants to collect 120k for Agency Fee, 120k for Agreement, and 50k for Caution Fee. I was furious, and I asked why this unnecessary payment, it should be 10% for agreement and agency fee, then caution fee negotiable. I was told a reputable law firm in charge of the building is the one collecting such. Asking for a breakdown, I was told is 10% which is 60k, but they are collecting in 2years, that's why it's 120k. I left that angrily, getting another apartment, same 3bed, the agent demanded 100k agreement, 100k agency and 100k caution for 850k yearly rent. All these house agents and lawyers in charge of buildings are really making things difficult, and they don't care. |

Just exactly my mind. We pay more attention to some things that doesn't affect us much as a people, and neglect the killings, hunger, joblessness, agberos everywhere, police brutality, and many more. Born2conquer: |

Lawless country |
With tears in my eyes and heavy heart, I'm reflecting on the outcome of the whole protests across the states, the result is so devastating and pathetic. Lives were lost, properties were destroyed, some innocent people have lost what they used all their lives to put together. Burning down public assets that serve the populace, some people took loans to put business together, everything disappeared within few minutes. I looked at poor people's keke burnt down, poor people's shops razed, where do you want these people to start from? Nigerians are now poorer, what a pitiful situation! To add salt to injury, the president/presidency is not moved at all, now where do we start from? If we burn down this country, the poor masses will suffer it. The ruling classes have money to survive, how much do you have to survive with? When the heat was too much on Tinubu, he took off with his family; if the heat is much on you, what other choice do you have? War is not the answer, ask people that witnessed war before, the end result is death, pains, destructions, starvations, ruins, desolations, sickness, imprisonment, When this protests started, I said the timing is wrong, Nigeria government is not a civilized one that protests can change anything. The only way to get them is through election. 2023 is approaching, the same youths will be beating drums for all these old ruling class since the creation of this country. We fought for "Not Too Young To Rule", and youths were given opportunity to contest, but guess what? Same youth preferred to shout Sai Baba or Articulate. Young candidates like Sowore came out to contest, but he didn't get the support of the youths. Some youths are already beating drums for the same old politicians before now. Nigerian youths, use your brain and not your head. The old ruling class will never change anything to favour the youths through any other means. Calling on UN, UK, US and others to intervene will not yield any result until we sweep them off using our voting power. My condolences to people that lost loved ones during this unrest, may Almighty God give them fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss. To the youths like me out there, be aware of the people you're dealing with, they are tyrant, they are brutal, they are wicked and they are not ready to handover anything to the youths. I'm hearing rumor that some people are not done yet, destroying everything will still hurt the poor masses more, please take note To take over is not a rocket science, let's use our vote to Change the statue quo, when this happened and they refused to leave, that's when UN, UK, US and others will intervene. Let's Make The Change Without Pains! |
Hello Nairalander, Let's know your own side of the effect after lockdown. I've heard many people saying they are in great debts, and I'm not left out of this mess too. How much does the lockdown cost you? Mine? I got money from friends to execute some little projects, though in millions, those projects were ongoing before the lockdown. The companies I was executing the projects for have not paid in full and some have been cancelled, I'm left with 2million to pay off as debt. Tell us your experience! |

I've learnt in the hard way to believe scammers are always on the look to scam people that have trust in making transactions with fellow Nairalanders. I posted here that I was scammed yesterday, see the post here (https://www.nairaland.com/5725171/scammed-nairalander), that never deterred me from dealing with another contact that saw my Skrill funding post on nairaland because I believed there will be always someone genuine no matter what. But I was proved wrong because the next contact was a scammer too, he blocked me immediately I transferred money to his Wema bank account: 0244054054 Chongdah Bulus Wema Bank His WhatsApp name is Gideon with phone number 08021834083. Please avoid this details as well, he's a scammer. I'm putting this on nairaland so that anyone with the mind of having deals with Nairalanders should be careful in the dealing!

I came on nairaland here, looking for a fast way to get my Skrill Account funded. I've tried to use Neteller to fund it initially, but verification was needed, all documents I uploaded for verification were rejected, I now resorted to getting it funded through other ways. Two people contacted me after putting it here on nairaland, and I transferred naira equating to $32 to his account name Sunday Imoni, Ecobank 8106065704 but he claimed not to see the alert, and the second day, he block me. All of you duping clear minds here on nairaland, you're not doing yourself any good, when the recompense comes, people will not know atrocities you've committed. Avoid Sunday Imoni with phone number 08021820068, and Ecobank account 8106065704 , he's a scammer |
