Jyoti Amge, world’s smallest and shortest woman according to the Guinness World Book of Records, has finally tied the knot. Amge married the love of her life, a man who has promised to love her till the end of time.


Jyoti Amge who was born on 16 December, 1993, was on her 18th birthday officially declared the world’s smallest woman by Guinness World Records with a height of 62.8 centimeters (2 ft 0.6 in). Her restricted height is due to a growth abnormality called achondroplasia.

However, her union has sparked outrage online, as media users are more concerned about their activities in the ‘other room’. Lol

Yul Edochie emerges as DPC flag bearer ahead of Anambra gubernatorial polls in November



Son of Nollywood, Legendary actor, Pete Edochie identified as Yul Edochie, won the governorship primary of the Democratic Peoples Congress DPC. He will be the party’s flag bearer going into the gubernatorial elections in Anambra state on November 18th this year.


He would be contesting against the state governor, Willie Obiano and others. Announcing his victory at the primary, Yul on his IG wrote

“And I won the party primaries today to become the flag bearer of the DPC. DEMOCRATIC PEOPLE’S CONGRESS.
I give God almighty all the glory.

I thank everyone who made it possible. And to all who have placed their hopes and trust in me, I will not let you down.

The federal government has released four hundred and seventy-one million and eight hundred thousand naira to settle bonuses of the Super Eagles and Super Falcons.
This decision came after the country's women national team staged a protest to the National Assembly on Wednesday.
In a statement, mrs. Kenechukwu Offie, the director of information of the accountant general of the Federation announced that the sum of 471.8 million naira was approved by the minister of finance, Kemi Adeosun and was paid to Central bank of Nigeria on Thursday.
She stated that the sum of N358 million was to cater for the outstanding winning bonuses of the Super Falcons at the 2016 African Women's Cup of Nations in Cameroon where they emerged champions.
Similarly, a sum of 113.8 million naira was meant to offset the bonuses of the Super Eagles in the 2018 World Cup qualifying matches.
She also confirmed that the approved amount has been paid to the coffers of the Nigeria Football Federation for onward payment of the teams which President Muhammadu Buhari mandated must be executed within 24 hours.
