Saraki will not be removed tomorrow. It cannot just happen overnight. This time will take a little more time. But surely he will go.

I am an igbo. The law said if you are carrying anything above 10,000 just declare it to the custom at the airport. If you refuse to declare it and you are caught the money becomes property of the goverment. There is also a jail term attached to it.
They would have simply declared the money at the airport and move on.
America, uk etc have similar law.

Not everybody is happy with Buhari's anti-corruption agenda. The powerful Nigerians are doing everything possible to derail him because all avenues of looting are being closed.
But my pain is reading from most youths in this forum some jobless graduates of many years back who never benefitted penny from the massive looting supporting the rich and the powerful in the name of party politics or ethinicity. Nigeria has a long way to go.

Chukwudi, if the tribunal ruled that Saraki is guilty as charged do you think Saraki will still continue as senate even when he had appealed the judgement?

Saraki should stop all these media propaganda and go clear his name at the tribunal. Tinubu was accused of same offence by Jonathan's government and he faced the tribunal squarly and got his name cleared. We expect Saraki to do same instead of using vanguard, thisday and daily post as defence mechanism and throwing media propaganda up and down.

You people and propaganda!!! The battle to remove Saraki as Senate President through the courts is still a very very very long one. Saraki would challenge the CCT's jurisdiction to the supreme court before the trial proper even commences.After the trial, whatever unfavorable judgment would also be challenged to the supreme court. In the end four years would not be enough to prosecute this case.

Do you think Saraki will still have the face to remain as senate president if the tribunal finds him guilty though he has right of appeal?

You are trying to give pre-eminence to the ruling of the CCT because it favours your position.Dont forget the FHC Abuja is also a court of law

Chukwudi there is nothing to appeal in this case.
