Is SLS a saint? No. Was it his time to be king? Yes. Ganduje had no right to depose him for some of the questions he was raising including penalising poor people for not sending their children to school when Ganduje had built no schools for them.

That is one of the things that triggered Ganduje. The public demand for accountability. What power does SLS have or indeed any Emir that is over the state governor? If there were discrepancies with land why not raise those?
