I am not sure of other banks, but I did withdrew money twice from my Halifax bank account using the ATM machine at Skye bank along toyin street and at another ATM machine in front of park n shop(not sure if that's the name) supermarket on Victoria island. It dispenses Naira to you using the current exchange rate. |
Thank you Lord, For my life, my home, my family and for all that I am passing through. Thank you for your mercies your grace and for the forgiveness of my sins. Thank you because I am 100% sure that you will glorify yourself in my life and in whatever situation I am passing through. What else can I say except Thank you Lord In Jesus name. Amen. |

@OP Before this time I happen to come across some healing scriptures on the internet which increased my faith in God and divine healing and I started to confess and pray them on my life and liver. I was like what have I got to lose after such a terrible medical report. The good news is that the result of the biopsy which I got in Feb this year says that "although the previous scan showed fatty changes in the liver, the biopsy result says there is no significant changes in my liver and as such there is no need for medication - To me that is God at work Reversing the irreversible. How that came to be is nothing short of another miracle. If you are a christian you can goggle healing scriptures which was what I did and begin to confess it. God sure works in mysterious ways and wishes us good health. |
My experience when I just arrived London about 4 years back. I was out with my girlfriend and notice that almost everyone pressed their card holders (oyster cards) on the reader when boarding the bus and that there's usually a sound after that. Meanwhile, I had a paper bus pass inside my ticket holder and pressed it on the bus oyster card reader expecting it to make the same sound, when it didn't I just looked at the driver's face as if to say what is the problem and went on to take a sit. it was later on I realised the card reader was meant for oyster cards and not for paper tickets ![]() |
Miller all the wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. |
chamotex:Silly question. The woman just said the man remortgaged "our house". @ poster you better demand your own part of the mortgaged house money and do something tangible for yourself before you are left hanging. |
Prolly your hubby's got something to hide because there's no justifiable reason for him not to add you except there's a skeleton somewhere. |

I was once in your friend's shoes, and mine got so bad that my in laws started accusing me of infidelity- even to my face. I eventually decided to relocate back to Nigeria on the condition that my hubby was going to help me get a job but after spending 9 months, i wasn't able to get a job with all my UK work experience. Eventually, i decided to pick up a trade(clothing business and catering) but i must tell you this, it wasn't easy at all - bad debts and all that. But to tell you the truth, your marriage and family is worth more than your job and whatever money you're making there. My advice is if you must come, come back prepared with the plans of setting up something no matter how little, so you don't get yourself to blame on the long run. And while at that try processing your husband's papers once more who knows your being here might bring him some luck this time around. This was what i did and today my husband's papers been approved. Goodluck. |
Praise the Lord. I got a job with an agency dec last year and was sent to a consulting firm with 4 other white girls as temporary staff. But to God be the glory, out of all of us I was the only one asked to go for interview. Also, during the interview the only question I was asked was if i enjoyed working there and would like to continue. To cap it all, i was also told during this same inteview that it was one of our senior managers that insisted that i must be converted to a permanent staff. This man has the reputation of being a racist. The only other naija lady i met there told me that this man had never made the mistake of helping a black person talkless of a nigerian 'cos he's had issues of fraud with nigerians.I was also told that this man so much fustrated the the person i took over from that she had to resign just because she's black and a nigerian. But to God be the glory, till i left the company , God made me tha apple of eyes of all the people that matters and those who called the shots in the company. I can't begin to mention all the favour and goodness that God showed me since that period till date . They are just too much, Praise the Lord. |

A friend will never turn his back on you. A friend will always be there in times of your difficulties. A true friend is hard to find. |
