chronique:He has already released materials using that name before they trademarked it. Videos and songs already on air. So he has enough prove |
If Kizz Daniel had good lawyers. That acceptance slip is an evidence he should use against G-worldwide to bankrupt them. Judging by the date they applied to trademark the name which was 6-6-2018 Kizz Daniel was already using that name. You can't legally trademark a name that another person or brand is already using. Kizz should simply approach the courtroom declare it null and void and she them for emotional and financial damages resulting to the loss of business for trademarking a name he is already using .. |

progress69:The problem is not about the opinion but about the office of the person and authority expressing it. If you can't get that then you need do some reading. A country cannot make policies against Nigeria based on what a singer said in his song but time after time countries have made laws and policies against a whole country because of the view expressed by their president. There is a difference between an influential figure and an authority.. Like CNN wrote, The president of a country should tell the world how beautiful his country is not how f**ked up it is. As a president you are not tell the world the truth about your country but to sell a good image of your country. |
progress69:If you do not know the difference between a president/number one citizen of a country and an artiste/just one citizen of the country then you should go back to school. An artiste is an influencer, a president is an authority. An artiste can express his opinion, a president projects the image of his country and how he wants the world to view it. Beyonce , sang against police racism in America. Now imagine if President Obama had come out to say the the American police were racists. |
We have always heard all these. The question is how does he intend to do them.. He will launch 36 Agricultural hubs- where and where will these agricultural hubs be located at He will encourage licencing of modular refiniries- how many modular refineries and their capacities would he need to licence. And how will the licence process go. Create National affordable housing poilicy- what is that policy, what will make it work and how will it be different from the previous and present government's policy . Complete end to activities of violent herdsmen- how does he intend to do that, which laws or policies will he pass. He needs to first of all propose the root causes and say how he intends to tackle this causes How does he intend to increase the doctor to citizens ratio, by building more universities and teaching hospitals or reducing the average number of years spent in the university or by reducing capital flight(and how does he intend to do these) , how much will it cost, which policies will he implement. How much will the universal mandatory health insurance for everyone cause the economy ( when Obama campaigned with this exact thing in form of Obama care he was able to tell Americans how much of tax payers money it will cost, how many citizens will be covered and the advantages over the other forms of healthcare. It was in that strength that the Republicans and Democrats had a debate on if it's a good choice or not). "Durotoye promised to diversify the economy by promoting non-oil sector growth through agriculture, mines and steel, manufacturing and the services industry by providing legal and fiscal incentives in these industries and sectors. He noted that this will be achieved by decentralising national resources to allow states generate more revenue at state level and attract investors." - this is the only part where he actually said how he intended to achieve his promise( diversifying his economy). Even though he didn't mention the legal and fiscal insentives at least he was able to mention recourse control in his words. Now voters can decide if they want it or not and be one of the things they will consider in either voting for him or not and if he wins and in four years he doesn't do that we can say he failed to put a bill for state to control their resources. Durotoye also promised to deliver a minimum of 12,000MW to Nigeria within 4 years which he says will attract investors- how does he intend to do this. How much will it cost. Will he increase the power bills or which laws need to be passed for this development. Military Equipment Manufacturing Plant without providing details, for security reasons.- the security reason isn't making sense. How.much will this manufacturing plant cost. Will it be managed by military or concessioned. What kind of military equipments and do we have the raw materials for the manufacturing of these equipments in Nigeria He said his administration will work with states and local governments to ensure nationwide rehabilitation and equipping of all existing government schools at primary, secondary and tertiary levels, while also ensuring free education for primary and secondary students in public schools- yet he failed to provide how many public schools are in Nigeria. How do you intend to partner with state and LGAs; through laws or financial aid. How will it be different from. The ETF of the Federal government that has been there since 1999 and clearly hasn't solved the issues To reduce banking interest rates, Durotoye said his administration will ensure a lower inflation rate with robust monetary policies and promote an industry development centric banking sector which will ensure that the banking industry is able to lend to businesses at single digit interest rate which would thereby enable households to grow outputs.- how does he intend to do this. Obama while campaigning came out with a tax reform document which was aimed at doing this with specific details on how to cut down running cost of government, tax the rich more and the poor less. Trump while campaigning came out with his document that said businesses should be taxed less so they can invest more. People agreed and disagrees on both divides but at least they knew what this guy's stood for and how they intend to achieve whatever they wanted to do. From all am seeing, there isn't much difference in the previous and failed present administration's agenda with his. A bit of a little improvement in being more elaborate on the promise. But that was what it;was promises without a laid down research and roadmap to achieve this. So what makes him different. Nothing really. What's the difference between this and Apc's ₦,5000 stipends for unemployed youths and 10,000 megawatts of power supply and bla bla bla. Look at America, Trump said the this has he would do to improve on the immigration problem. A lot of people didn't agree with him but at least everyone knows where he stands on Issues. He wants to build a wall, he wanted to repel Obamacare(the fact that he didn't say what in particular he will replace it with an obvious sign that he didn't know. And from all indications he didn't know what to replace it with and now he is running helter skelter, for laws to put a better care plan proving that he wasn't prepared in that area) When Obama was contesting everyone knew what he wanted to do and how he wanted to do them. Everyone knew he was going to support abortion, create a universal care plan, begin documenting, undocumented/illegal immigrants. Etc. But in Nigeria it's just promises and no value and unfortunately even the young candidates like Fela Durotoye and Sowore are towing that line. Who will now evolutionise politics in this country? |
post=67953776:You are not in Nigeria. The terrible condition that the leadership has put us in doesn't affect you, you support a 'comrade' who earns his salary by defending the leadership and you think you are not one of the issues of the country. The president has a responsible to protect the lives of his citizen. In Benue alone more than a thousand are dead from terrorism. If the president is trying his best and yet we are in the condition, then it simply means his best is not good and competent let him give way to a younger person whose best will yield results instead of deaths. The failures of our former leaders should not be a justification for the failure of the present. |
Today has been set aside by leaders of Civil Society Joint Nigeria Crisis Action Committee, JN-CAC, as the National Day of Mourning. This is to rally all Nigerians to denounce the level of impunity and frequency of violent killings in the country in recent times. A statement by Chidi Odinkalu, Yemi Adamolekun, Abiodun Baiyewu, Ier Jonathan-Ichaver and Auwal Musa (Rafsanjani) on behalf of the Co-Ordinating Committee of JN-CAC, said the day of national mourning would witness a set of activities for remembrance, solidarity and awakening to the challenges confronting the nation. According to the group, the day will be marked by a series of symbolic actions such as “mourning at Unity Fountain, Abuja. As a sign of our collective mourning, citizens will organise and hold solemn assemblies and ‘Say their names’ ceremonies across the country. “We will, from May 28, commence the dispatch of citizen-led humanitarian convoys to sites of mass killings and displacements across the country. We will call on the Nigerian government and its agencies to provide protection to these convoys and will enlist the communities through and to whom we will be going to defend the rights of Nigerians to show solidarity with one another. “We invite all Nigerians to wear black on May 28, or at least a black arm band, or black ribbons as a symbol of solidarity.” The group lamented that “the level of impunity and frequency of violent killings in Nigeria in recent times is a source of grave concern to citizens and all people who wish our country well. “Even with the suppression of information on these killings, it is quite clear that the toll of killings has risen dramatically in recent times. “From Abia to Zamfara, Nigerians wake up daily to fresh news of mass atrocities which are barely acknowledged by government and a vast majority of fellow citizens. This is an anomaly that must end. “As a country, we seem to have normalised the violent killings of our own citizens and the pillage of our communities. Reports have reduced human lives lost to mere numbers that are bandied and argued about without thought of properly accounting for them, or according them dignity by naming them. “Politicians who should be interested in currying our ballots are manifestly unconcerned.” http://thetnmedia..com.ng/2018/05/national-day-of-mourning-jn-cac-urges.html?m=1 |

The #KICKOUT campaign was inspired by the recent death of a young teenage girl in Abia State who died during cult initiation. In her own words "The Nigerian youths are very smart, proactive and full of energy. However this energy can be easily and wrongly channelled negatively and when this happens they become a great danger to the themselves and family" The campaign has already garnered support with Mr University Africa, Taiwo Ariyo and a number of young influential Nigerians pledging their posting about it.
