deomelo:You obviously lack basic emotional intelligence and that's why you are wailing like a cry baby. Since you lack comprehension I will try to dumb the argument down for you. A court has all rights to interpret the constitution as it relates to Inec, election matters and every other matter. |
deomelo:First of all, you are the one that has actually failed to show documented and constitutional facts that states supplementary elections. I would like you to quote the part of the constitution that empowers Inec to conduct supplementary elections. Yes, the constitution delegated election matters to Inec but INEC must operate according to the stipulations of the constitution and the election Tribunals and court are they to interpret the constitution and the laws concerning election matters. Your statement "not to any tribunal or other forms of interpretation" is wrong. Otherwise you are then telling me that the Ajimobi, Amosun and even Aregbesola should not have been governors and their tenured were all illegal. |
So credible source that made you certain Punch new was false were the two employees of the Vice President who would only say what their principal instructs them to say and not Punch that is a neutral party. While you typed the gibberish, did you bother to check or hear the news of any state that Osibanjo visited for the Trader Moni Programme after the election. Why didn't you write at least one single state he visited. My guess is because you know there is none. Mind you, Punch Newspaper clearly wrote that the programme was still on going but the Vice President hasn't visited any state to promote it after the election even though he visited over 10 States for the promotion of the programme during the election period. So kindly throw away what Punch said and do the intelligent thing by actually doing a simple Google search or read newspapers to know if Osibanjo visited a single state after the election to promote Trader Moni. Please don't also tell me that he may have visited but did not publicize it because that will mean the only reason he publicized his Trader Moni your before election was to actually buy votes. If not he might as well not have publicized it then too. The only reason Punch as become a 'brown envelope' journalism now is because they report things that goes against your political inclination. And that says more about you than it does of Punch |
GavelSlam:Actually you need to stop lieing. The wages if increased to 30k will gulp 250 billion, with the present wage it's about 150 billion Naira yearly. And if the President can't find a way to in rease revenue of a country without recourse to taxing the citizen, then he shouldn't be there in the first place. Let us not even forget that VAT only goes to Federal Government. So if the federal government can't pay the minimum wage without increasing VAT, how do they expect states to pay. Nigeria has come full circle of failure that even the citizens believe that the only way government can raise more money is by tasking them or taking loans. Take a look at other nations which are fast developing and you will say that the government always go on an aggressive investment in fields that will attract FDI, make their country business friendly for their citizens and make policies and laws that will increase Citizen's productivity and create a more progressive middle class.. Americans are pushing Task reforms to task the rich more and reduce the poor task obligations. While the government is reducing every body's task both rich and poor, so as to generate more employment, make people have more money to spend and therefore rejuvanate the economy. Dubai- invest In tourism so as to get more people to come in to the country and spend. Create tax holidays for businesses coming to invest in the country and create employment. India--investing in medical tourism and technology so as to provide quality medical services like the developed country for cheaper price so poor countries can troop in and create wealth for them. China-- cheap productivity. So countries can invest in the country to create cheap products and sell to the world for maximum profit. And they topped it off by making their currency less valuable because it will benefit them asn export driven economy. Nigeria--just get the citizens to pay.. |
