A Lokoja Magistrate Court has ordered that embattled Senator Dino Melaye representing Kogi West Senatorial district be remanded in police custody for 38 days pending commencement of hearing in the case brought by the police against him and three others.

The charges the police brought against Senator Melaye bothered on criminal conspiracy and unlawful possession of prohibited firearms, amongst others.

The Counsel to Senator Dino Melaye, Mike Ozekhome (SAN) argued for his bail which was opposed by the Police prosecuting Counsel, Alex Iziyon who insisted that that the offences preferred against the senator were ordinarily not bailable.

In his ruling, Chief Magistrate Suleiman Abdullahi denied the bail application and ordered that Melaye be be kept in prison custody till June 11, 2018 when hearing in the case would commence.

President Muhammadu Buhari has disclosed that he has an unfinished business for Nigeria.

Buhari stated this during an interview with Aliyu Mustapha of VOA in Washington,

According to Buhari, “I don’t get to listen to music but I find time to rest. When I was a general, I gave orders, but now, I receive orders.

“The doctor is here. He always insists that I eat well and rest, that is why many are surprised at how quickly I recovered.”

Commenting on his re-election bid, Buhari said he had unfinished business, mostly in the area of insecurity.

He said, “We have not even finished what we are doing now. Insecurity is still a problem. The worst thing that Boko Haram is doing now is to get small girls, hypnotise and put explosive devices on them to go and detonate in mosques, churches, motor parks and markets and kill people.

“However, they are not able to take over any territory now, although, even today, I read in some newspapers that Boko Haram are still holding territory.

“Well, they may still be somewhere in Sambisa Forest but the Nigerian Army has prevented them from coming out.”

The Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has debunked the news spreading all over the internet that their was a serious Fire Incident in their head office... saying it was an 'unusual pall of exhaust' from a bad generator.

The Police today arraigned Sen. @dino_melaye before an Abuja Magistrate court for breaking the windscreen of police vehicle conveying him to Lokoja & threatening to kill himself. He arrived in a stretcher.

Security at the National Assembly complex has been heightened with gun-bearing and masked operatives of the Department State Services (DSS) seen manning strategic locations within the parliament building especially the entrance into the lobby and Senate chamber where the mace was stolen two weeks ago.

Charly Boy - OVER THE BAR

If you’re above 50 then you should be reading this. If you never reach, take a number and stand in line because e go soon reach you. I mean, “Old Age” is coming for you.

If you’re above 50, just take style dey prepare yourself to go see your ancestors or your maker.
While some people grow older with grace and maintain their boyishness/beauty, others age like a curse has been put upon them.
Aging can be cool if you form a habit of helping the process. Some people dey talk sey you cannot cheat Old Age, ( I swear am trying). Some dey talk sey, no matter how young person get cloths reach, e no fit get rags reach Old Man. I agree.

However, the undisputed truth is, weytin Old Man see sitting down, even if young man climb tree, him no fit see am.

Aging, therefore, comes with its limited advantage. You can only be a youth once. But you can always be young at heart. You can age gracefully, but, you must seriously work on it – if you don’t wanna age looking like your forefathers. If you’re blessed with good genes, like me, half of the job is already done, but you can’t take it for granted. A positive healthy lifestyle can do a lot of Magic if you’re a disciplined fellow, and overly conscious and protective of your health. I know I am, thank God. I don’t mess around with feeding my being the right ingredients that kinda slows down the aging process. I saw my parents age gracefully, my own no go different.

By the way, here are some of the things that work for me, you might want to try it, too.

a…. I surround myself with everything youthful, hence I have more of young associates and friends who ginger me in all directions.
b….. I have never drunk alcohol in my life. Yes, my Craze na natural.
c…. I watch what goes into my mouth.
d…. I sleep up to 12hrs a day, maybe not at a stretch.
e…. I am growing into a gym rat, yes because I am vain like that. I am fighting for the six packs I will never get. Meanwhile, I will manage this carton am carrying.
f….. I no longer indulge in nicotine, but I no mind the natural one ooooo!!!!!!!
g…. For further preservation, I DON’T sleep around, I have great respect for my body, I no fit share am like Tomtom.
h….. I do yearly checkup so before my engine knock, I go arrest the wahala.

I just laff when some people accuse me of not acting my age(66). Haba! Shey na until I begin waka with Stick? Abeg, make una free me from una eternal jealousy.

Forever till I die, I want to hang on to the boy that lives in me. So if you like, call me Agbaya, Charly Man, Old papa youngie, Na you Sabi. All I know is that I am continuously working on this tokumbo body. Fighting daily all the red flags, signs and occasional aches that keeps reminding me that I am Over The Bar. I no go gree Old Age mess me up anyhow, so I dey try help myself.

There comes a time wey your body no go serve you as before.
Small time, wrinkles go wan come redecorate your face, white hair go begin full everywhere, even for your yansh. Na so hairs go dey stick comot from your nose. Your Muscles go come slacken, grip weaken, joints stiffen, your body don begin enter call divert. You’re becoming impotent because your tool don dey get delay, e dey malfunction, your wife of many years don turn your sister. Your body before your very eyes is giving up on you. Kai! Bad Market.

Don’t worry about how lonely you will get, or what happens when you die. Stop worrying that you don’t have enough money, money is never enough, abegi. Live in the moment responsibly. If you have children, care for them but don’t let them take over your life. It’s not what you give a child that matters, It’s what you teach them. Whatever small money you have, always treat yourself, because you’re dying alone, nobody go join you. Cherish goodness, encourage your good mood and spirit – it will frighten sickness. Biko, find the things that make you happy, forget about the things you can’t change. If you have money, always do regular checkups. If not, live like a priest – don’t overdo yasef.

Some people believe you are only as old as you feel while some plan on enjoying their youthfulness for as long as possible. I belong to that youthful-minded club.

The secret of staying young is to live honestly, listen to your body, watch what you eat, and exercise regularly. “Old age is a serious disease no doctor can cure” – my father’s famous quote.
Before the years take their toll and your energy level begin to wane; before your vision dims and your contemporaries start to drop dead;
honor, enjoy and hold on to the boy/girl in you.
The best years of my life have been in my 60s. Because now, I don’t give a Bleep about nothing.

Leader of the Indigenous people of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has Uwazuruike described his former boss as a fraudster whose mighty has fallen.

Nnamdi Kanu stated this in an interview with the Sun Newspaper recently.

Kanu further stated that he is not agitating for Biafra restoration because of money as been mentioned by Bim leader, Uwauruike.

Isn’t it very sad that the only way he could attract attention to his publication was by mentioning the name Nnamdi Kanu? That’s how low he has sunk. Had he not mentioned Nnamdi Kanu, nobody would have bought any newspaper having such an interview; it’s a shame, isn’t it? How the mighty has fallen. If Uwazuruike had not mentioned Nnamdi Kanu, nobody would have read anything he was writing. That’s my answer.

Uwazuruike went further in the interview to say that I’m calling for the boycott of Anambra election to help APC win the election. But I want to tell him at various times I have been accused of supporting virtually every political party in the country and every major player.



But the thing of joy for IPOB is that we have the benefit of longevity and time; there is no lie that time will not reveal. Now, it is clearly demonstrated beyond every reasonable doubt that when former President Goodluck was in office, I went hard after him. It was said that I was being sponsored by APC.



APC came in, I went after Buhari, but Jonathan was very sensible not minding where we have disagreement, he was very sensible, he ignored me. He knew that as a democrat, as a Biafran at heart that how you kind of moderate views and emotions within a society is to ventilate them and allow people to say what they want; that the reason we have the National Assembly is not to make laws only. You create room for people with diverse views and opinions and ideas. It’s better they are talking than fighting, that’s why you have parliament, people don’t know that.

I heard that he equally said that if I need money that I should come to him, but what Uwazuruike has refused to know is that I am not a money monger like him; we are not the same. All he thinks about is money, but I think about Biafra and that’s the huge difference. He has been abandoned by his slave masters, the Hausa/Fulani he has been serving so diligently for many years. The wool has fallen off the eyes of our people; everyone knows he is a fraud.

What am I doing with money? If I were looking for money, I would have settled with the Buhari government. I don’t need money, the only thing I need is Biafra, Uwazuruike cannot do what I did, he can never do nothing in a billion years. Now, I’m very glad that he has seen that all the money he made,is worthless because he has lost his reputation, he has no name to fall back to.

People give me stuff, the cars I use, people gave them to me. I don’t buy anything, so, what do I need money for? I don’t need to buy anything, the furniture in my house, people built them for me. I am serving my people everyday and today we have honour and prestige because of IPOB. It’s not only our people, every other component ethnic nationality, is rising up to speak because of IPOB. If I had compromised, do you think they would have the courage to rise up? It’s called honour and integrity and Uwazuruike has got none.

Based on received information about the location of some suspected top Boko Haram terrorists’ leaders, the Nigerian Army and the Nigerian Air Force have been carrying out heavy artillery bombardments and air interdictions on registered targets that have killed a large number of Boko Haram terrorists including some of the group’s key leaders.

The Nigerian Army artillery using Multi-Barrel Rocket Launchers has lobbed many rockets over the suspected location the terrorists’ leaders are hiding. Video clips obtained on battle damage assessment shows clear success of the exercise. More details of successes achieved will be made available as the operation continues.


The key Boko Haram terrorists Ameers neutralized within the week during the joint Artillery and Nigerian Air Force air bombardments include; Abu Dujana, Man Tahiru (Deputy to Boko Haram terrorists group Hisba leader), Man Chari, Malam Abdullahi Abu Sa'ad and Goni Bamanga.

The Nigerian military would continue with the concerted onslaught on the reported Boko Haram terrorists’ location till they have been eliminated. A Nigerian Medical doctor has beaten his wife to near death.

According to an online user who shared the story, the man in question was a medical doctor at ATBUTH.

The user didn't give more details on why the medical doctor beat up his wife.

His words...She was beaten to stupor by her husband, a medical doctor at ATBUTH. His name Dr Sama'ila Zakari Wase.

Nigeria’s Federal Government has reportedly asked the court to revoke the bail granted leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, Channels Television reports.

Citing disobedience of the bail conditions granted Mr Kanu, the government also demands the arrest and detention of Mr Kanu, pending the determination of the charge against him.

The conditions are:

Mr Kanu must not hold rallies.
He must not grant interviews.
He must not be in a crowd of more than 10 people.
He must provide three sureties in the sum of N100 million each.
One of the sureties must be a senior highly placed person of Igbo extraction such as a senator.
The second surety must be a highly respected Jewish leader since Mr. Kanu said his religion is Judaism.
The third surety must be a highly respected person who owns landed property and is resident in Abuja.
The IPOB leader must deposit his Nigerian passport.
He must also deposit his British passport with the court.
He must provide the court with reports on the progress of his health and treatment on a monthly basis.
The order for him to deposit his Nigerian and British passports also mean he cannot travel out of the country (If this is considered, it is the thirteenth condition).
