Nollywood Helena Duru, an actress, and director responded to the EFCC only a few hours after the commission's denial of the actress's attack in an official statement.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, or EFCC, called Helen's allegations to be inaccurate and misleading and said that the film was poorly constructed.

In response to the most recent news release from the EFFC about her case, Helen criticized the agency for failing to conduct a thorough investigation before dismissing the complaint.

Below are excerpts from what she posted on her Instagram page.

A man identified as Joseph Kagiso Ndlovu is trending on social media for the unusual way he took to proposing to a woman.The South African man who is said to be in his 50s took to the field and ran a 90km (56 miles) marathon to propose to a woman named Prudence.

A picture circulating on social media shows the moment he approached the finish while holding a banner with the inscription “Prudence, will you marry me? Run 90K for you”.

In an interview with BBC on Monday, Mr Ndlovu told the journalist that Prudence, who was in the race to support him, said yes to his proposal.

He said they have been dating since the beginning of this year and plan to get married sometime next year

Earlier, it was not clear she had accepted the proposal and some people online had been egging her on to accept the proposal.

“As a country, we deserve the answer to the proposal. Cameraman, please seek out Prudence. We are invested now” another tweep said.

The Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike says he would have done something to end the insecurity caused by bandits if he had the opportunity to.

Wike stated this on Tuesday during the inauguration of the dualized Ogbunuabali-Eastern Bypass Road.

According to the governor, The problem we have in this country today is that we don't have people who have that passion who want to serve their people. The only regret i have, i don't have the opportunity to tell the bandits enough is enough. if I have had the opportunity the bandits know their time will be gone, but it's unfortunate i don't have it.

Wike whose membership of the PDP has come under serious scrutiny in the last two months made it clear that he will perform even better in any other political party.

Recent moves to mend fences have also fallen flat as the key demand of the Wike camp that the National Chairman of the party, Iyorchia Ayu, steps down has been rebuffed by the Atiku camp, who insist it can only happen after the presidential election in 2023.

The governor however restated his commitment to service, insisting his performance is not based on being a member of the PDP but on his undying love, passion, and commitment to render effective service to the people.

Socio-political activist, Reno Omokri has dropped another shaky message to the supporter of Peter Obi.

Reno through his Official Twitter page stated the country would be in a more bad state if Peter Obi become the President.

According to him, the Obi supporters can't tolerate what President Buhari tolerates. He described Obi's mob as the most intolerant.

He wondered what Nigeria will look like under their rule.

Reno Omokri also stated Datti Baba Ahmed, Labour Party's running mate to Peter Obi was an excellent choice.

She died in the early hours of Wednesday at an undisclosed hospital were she was being treated for kidney failure.

She was aged 24.

May God forgive all her short comings and accept her soul in paradise.

I don't think the network is the problem, The time it picks much faster is late at night. From 12 pm to 5 or 4 am.
