Two members of a four-man robbery gang was killed in a shootout with police officers in Edo state Friday. The robbers had tried to rob residents of Adodor street, Isihor Edo state.

One of the gang member was arrested while one is currently on the run.

Gallant men of the Imo State Police Command this morning foiled an attempt by a four man armed robbery gang to rob a bank customer at Fidelity Bank, Owerri. According to Kennedy Onwunali, who posted the photos:

"The gang which came on a Toyota Camry drove away after they were engaged in gun battle by the police men on duty and police teams from allover the city led by the area commander Acp Francis Bissiong, the DPO Owerri urban and command federal anti robbery squad in the state. Medical doctors at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH) Nnewi, Anambra State, are in dilemma over the condition of a baby born recently without anus to determine the sex of the baby.

And in order to excrete urine and feces,the doctors had to perforate the baby's abdomen to eliminate waste.

The pathetic situation left the parents of the baby,Mr and Mrs Charles Ibeh whose only source of livelihood is petty trading crumbled and had to stop three of their other children from going to school while living with the agony of the strange medical condition.

Atleast four students of the Federal Government Girls College Oyo state reportedly lost their lives today after a Lorry carrying garri, fell on a commercial bus conveying them to school yesterday. According to residents of the town, the accident happened at Sabo market in Oyo state.

The accident was caused by bad portions of the road. The remains of the deceased have been deposited in a morgue.

The Caretaker Chairman of Zaki Local Government Area, Alhaji Muhammad Yalwaji Sakwa was killed in a fatal motor accident on Saturday, October 29th. The accident also claimed the life of his driver. Sakwa, who was sworn in alongside other caretaker chairmen in August, was buried on Sunday according to Islamic rites.

The three men who died mysteriously inside a borehole in Onitsha, Anambra state, have been retrieved by the official of NEMA.

According to officials who retrieved the bodies, the men died due to lack of oxygen.
