Please help the people of Osun, Oyo, Ekiti, and Ondo beg Buhari or federal government to consider us in the area of federal government project execution and appointments. Four year term is about to complete yet no project is being done especially in Osun state even the federal secretariat that was started long ago in Osogbo had been stopped due to unknown reasons. The only regions that feel the presence of federal government in terms of road infrastructure and other meaningful projects are the whole of northern region and some parts of SS and SE. Is Osun state not part of Nigeria? The level of marginalization of Osun state in allocating federal projects is so alarming that you can't point to a particular project that is being handled by federal government and Yoruba is clamoring for true federalism you say no, tell us a good reason we should stop the agitation with this style of government that's only favorable to the North. You take the resources from us and use it to develop Northern region alone, this is not fair. Thank God for the governor we have in Osun. He has really tried his best in the area of projects execution. And Fasola is there as minister going up and down pleasing the North you should remember you are coming back home when the government is no more so that you won't end up regretting you had the opportunity to develop your region like Obasonjo.
Please come to our aid in Osun state if only for the road that link Ekiti, Osun, and Oyo together we will also feel the presence of federal government. Remember your change revolution started in Osun state and we helped you when you needed us.
Thanks

First of all, for you to correct anything go and get a source of income job, business just ensure something is come in for you too. Thereafter you must be ready to fight a battle with your wife and her father. Stop whatever you collecting from the father and do not care with whatever your wife might have in her bank then tell her what you like and what you don't like if she does not listen threaten to stay away from the relationship. With this, she and her parents will learn sense.

However, if truly her father is rich then he should be able to set you up with a business instead of sending the money to your wife's account... My 10kobo advice

I've watched his interview his interview several times now. Dady Freeze never condemned Tithe out rightly he's only after how the Tithe Is being used in the hands of Tithe collectors (Pastors). How will a pastor collect enough Tithe and members of the church will be living in abject poverty, how many of Oyedepo's church members can afford to send their children to his University? How many of his church members from whom he got the money to buy private jet can be allowed to enter the private jet? Until there is balance, and pastors cease to monopolize the proceed of Tithes, people should stop it because Tithes should be used on both themselves and the needy.
This things are not happening in western world, are we now saying Nigerians are more religious than those they got it from. Let pastors start distributing the wealth with members of theirs churches from whom they got it.

PoliticsMilitary Needs To Take Over For Two To 3 Years To Reform Nigeria-robert Clarke by tj4luck(op): 9:38am On Nov 25, 2016
Chief Robert Clarke was on Channels Sunrise Daily today, and he talked how corruption has affected Nigeria. About 80% of our budget is being used to maintain our democratic system of governance which is too expensive for us to continue. According to formal president Olusegun Obasanjo, a member of House of Representative monthly take home 10M while a senator gets with 15M monthly. The solution is to change our system of governance and to achieve this; we need a referendum and the outcome of the referendum is subjected to the approval of our parliamentarians but will they approve it no because it's like breaking down their source of looting. Therefore, the outcome will be as good as useless. The way out is for Military to take over within 2 to 3 years to quickly right all the wrongs that have destroyed us.

STOP PEDDLING LIES, OSOGBO WARN EDE CHEIFS

The attention of Osogbo Development Action Group (ODAG) has been drawn to a malicious press statement from the Federal Council of Ede Descendants Union which was signed by one Mr. Moshod Adeleke, the statement which dwelled so much on alleging the government of Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola of deliberately favouring Osogbo over naming of government establishments/properties in the areas that fall within the capital city territory boundary with Ede.

The latest antic of the Ede people to cause chaos in the State of Osun was their wrong allegation leveled against the Osun State Capital Territory Development Authority. The Ede people wrongly alleged the governor of Osun State as anti Ede for giving directive to address government establishments as Osogbo.

We would have treated the press statement as unworthy of reaction, except for the unsuspecting members of the public who may fall for such sugarcoated statement, intended to mislead the public by the Federal Council of Ede Descendants Union. The Ede people, as represented by the union, in a sudden twist chose to hide under Capital City Territory to frivolously claim ownership of Okepupa, which by deception Ede people referred to as Abere.
Whereas Oshogbo became a capital city in1991, their (Ede people) lust to claim a larger part of Osogboland has been on since 1879 during the colonial era with each of their attempts ending in a brazen ignominy and defeat.

History, records and facts have it on good authority and could be made available to the general public that Oshogbo is the rightful, legal, genuine and authentic owner of the land housing Osun State Secretariat, Nigeria Custom Service covering Oranmiyan New town up to the Nigeria Police Zone X1.

If the Ede community need to be schooled on the length and breadth and workings of the Capital City Development Authority, we would not hesitate to teach them.
Should the state government give out instructions that the Osun Odua Farmers’ Academy, Aisu-Ede, NYSC permanent Orientation Camp, Aisu-Ede, etc that fall within the Capital City Territory be named or addressed as Osogbo, then they can raise alarm if they so desire.

We like to state clearly that the press statement lacked in its entirety any substance that demands attention, hence, it is inconsequential, baseless and does not have any sense of direction but just a distortion of facts, vendetta and a calculated attempt to further rape the state government into supporting their long lost battle to claim a substantial part of Osogboland.

For avoidance of doubt, we challenge Mr. Moshod Adeleke or any other person from the entire Ede community to be man enough to list the government establishments they claim are within the Capital City territory named after Osogbo that rightfully belong to Ede.

We equally like to appeal to the entire Ede community to be courageous enough to tell the whole world the outcome of their attempts in various courts of competent jurisdictions on the rightful and authentic owner of the land mass housing the State of Osun Government Secretariat, Nigeria Custom Service, Oranmiyan New Town, Osogbo up to The Nigerian Police Zone X1.
We also wish to call on the good people of Osun State and the Nigerian Media to ask the people of Ede why their claim of ownership of the said areas of land is always devoid of lawful evidences despite their numerous efforts in the court of law and tribunals.

It is bizarre and horrendously distasteful that the Edes' continue to rely on fabricated cock and bull stories that do not have a place in the sacred history of the Oduduwa's race to claim ownership. More embarrassing is the fact that the Edes' in their self adulation continue to think that in a 21st century Nigeria, “Might is right”.
Each time they address the press, instead of them to come out with incontrovertible facts of ownership, they keep threatening with war songs as if they own the monopoly of violence.

In the press statement by the Federal Council of Ede Descendants Union, Mr. Adeleke and indeed the Ede people goofed by claiming that the popular Oloro stream near Ataoja School of Science is the boundary between Osogbo and Ede, while they were correct that Elesin stream is our common boundary, they erred by notoriously claiming that ("Odo Olooro"wink Oloro stream which is the stream close to Ataoja School of Science is the same as Elesin stream.

Over and over again, it has been established by different courts and tribunals that ("odo elesiin"wink Elesin stream is close to the fence of Nigeria Police, Zone X1 and it is the authentic and lawful recognized boundary between Osogbo and Ede.
Judgment in 1879 at the presence of the then Baale Ibadan now Olu Ibadan and the District Officer favoured Oshogbo. In 1929, the Asst. District Officer, Osogbo, Oyo Province, R.W. Wilkes at the instance of Ataoja of Osogbo and Timi of Ede, Oba Lagunju, the District Officer affirmed the Elesin stream near where the Nigeria Police Zone X1 now resides as the authentic boundary between Osogbo and Ede. The then Timi agreed and the matter was laid to rest. After the death of Timi Lagunju the Ede decided to start another trouble, prompting the then Ataoja to order the Edefarmers farming in the area now wrongly called Abere to vacate the area, the new Timi as at then, Timi Akangbe later acquiesced to the 1929 agreement which upheld the 1879 boundary resolution. Again, Timi Ipinoye wrote in 1935 an appeal letter begging the then Ataoja to please allow his subjects to continue to farm on the said area of land with a promise that they would be law abiding and pay their dues "Isakole" as at when due to the Ataoja of Osogbo.

It is instructive to note that aside the previous failed attempts by succeeding Timi(s) of Ede to claim part of Osogboland, other attempts were met with stiff resistance and in 1951, 1989, 1996, 2000, 2006 and most recently in 2010 further confirmed Osogbo as the rightful owner of the Osun State Secretariat area up to the Nigeria Police Zone X1 Headquarters.

All evidences, judgments and records affirming the authentication of Osogbo as the legitimate owner is domicile in public archives.

We at Oshogbo Development Action Group(ODAG) are however; taken aback with the series of lies contained in the press statement signed by the vice chairman of Federal Council of Ede Descendants Union. Their claim that the erstwhile governor of Osun State, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, gave the Ede community the sum of five hundred thousand naira for the construction of a palace is the most illogical affront the Ede Descendant Union could come up with. We urge the Ede people to tell the whole world the truth on how Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola demolished a miniature erection that was built very close to the State secretariat with a stern warning that the land belongs to Osogbo and that they must not encroach on the land again.
The Ede in-council again in the purported press statement in the most cheaply manner claimed Chief Bisi Akande consulted the Timi of Ede before he commenced the building of the most beautiful State Secretariat in the whole of West Africa in Osogbo. The question is simple, are they saying Ede is the capital of Osun state? Or were they sleeping or deaf when Chief Akande during his last visit to Bola Ige House, repeatedly told guest and the Ede on ground during the re-opening of Bola Ige Secretariat, Osogbo by Rauf Aregbesola that all he knows is that the State Secretariat is rightly cited in Osogbo.
We like to remind them that the State secretariat was cited in the early 90s by Governor Isiaka Adeleke an Ede prominent son and that communiqué signed by Governor Isiaka Adeleke addressing the location of the State secretariat as Gbongan-Ibadan road, Oshogbo is still very much available.

Nigerian Media: Truth versus Reality
In the past few days, the hearts of genuine citizens of our great nation have bled over the news of the killing of a female Christian preacher by alleged Muslim fanatics in Kubwa area of the FCT, Abuja. I was actually alerted by a friend's ext message because although i reside in the affected area, i was far away in Ibadan, Oyo State, as at the time of the incident. As an average concerned Nigerian, i thought, when will this nation be free from religious and ethnic crises? But as a journalist and one with eye for investigation, i knew i had a duty at hand. So, on my return to the city, i visited the particular street, the particular spot, conducted personal investigation and secret interviews, and made several findings. I became sad! Why? Most of the information doled out by our media are NOT TRUE! For the avoidance of doubt, there was no evidence of anyone present when the woman died. Witnesses only said they met her dead. Secondly, i did not find anyone to confirm that any part of the woman was missing or mutilated. I talked with one who saw the corpse early that morning, with two policemen, before the news went viral. Thirdly, there was no mosque in that street or behind the spot. Fourthly, the vicinity had been under the torment of cultism in the past few months, in fact, two separate persons were found killed and dumped in the area recently, one of them on the street adjacent this particular one. The police is actually on the trail of s notorious cult who is believed to have sneaked into and hiding in the area. The police is insisting that they met the corpse body intact. But, alas! What my colleagues wrote were terrifying. In fact, it revived hatred, instigated religious intolerance and personal mistrust. I am sure many of you journalists who wrote the story were not in Abuja, you just received the news from friends and forwarded to your headquarters, which also did not verify before going to press. I also know that many of those in Abuja then did not visit the place, nor conduct proper investigation. For an issue as critical as religion and ethnicity, most of you goofed! The media is an indefatigable player in nation building, and no society is firmly built on negligence and mistrust as being displayed by our journalists. But, the media houses too are at fault. Most of them pay peanuts for staff while the few at the top swim in affluence. Where, then, is the resource and motivation for the reporter to carry out investigative reporting and due diligence. To survive, many journalists are pipers in the hands of politicians, religious leaders and businessmen and even government, who dictate their tune. Yet, the masses are at the receiving end because they naturally hold on to the news from the media. It is a hell a times, to change the people's perception on issues, over which our media had made serious blunders. I had had to show identity cards to some, before they agree to reason along the right perspective. The corruption on the media is much, but our colleagues can just help hold on to the truth.

well is not a bad idea but has the masses feed well? because when look at the current price of most commodity especially that of beans is to high, average Nigeria can not afford the price in the market. less i forget that Nigeria still importing beans from neighboring country such chad, Niger and Benin republic. Then where do we get this present beans we want to export to Europe because there is low production of beans in our economy when compare to the price wink wink wink wink wink wink wink wink wink wink wink wink wink wink wink wink wink
You are correct but at the same time, you need to realize that it is this ban that has discouraged many youth being advised to go into farming. If we have many people in farming, it means we will have enough agricultural products that can feed us and foreign countries and when our farmers make good profit by selling their products to both local and international market, it encourages many others who is willing to go into farming. This is indeed a good development for every well meaning Nigerian after all it brings hope to our name that's been soiled.

From your analysis, if we do the swapping for #600, do u mean #400 is our profit or #200 cause from what i can deduce, you did #400 analysis as if it's the profit that belong to us. i want you to clear air on this.
