PerfectMan24:It's well. Government is supposed to be the wide bridge between the Rich and the Poor. The Gap between the Rich and the Poor is really very wide, but the Government is also supposed to be the wide and easily accessible bridge in-between the wide gap, so that many people can comfortably use the bridge, and be communicating across the bridge (and even along the bridge too) and feel so safe and secured and comfortable. But in Nigeria, the Government are actually pretending to be the bridge, but the bridge here is very narrow, and blocked off at both ends.. Access to this bridge is highly controlled, and very much partial and biased. |
NovusHomo:There were some other good details inside wey make am boku |
PARADIZEPRIEST:In Nigeria,, there is no need Sef of Laundering anything. The security on money is not “tight” enough. |
HNICEARTH:Thanks so much for the appreciation.. Almost every “Nigerian Bank” use the machine for Counting Dollars. Thus, the U.S Government knows which Exact Bills are in Circulation even Outside of the U.S.. But these “Special Money Counters” are not actually directly connected to the computers, and thus, they do not create a “downloadable file” attached to each completed transaction, which states the Serial-Numbers of all the bills that went through with each particular transaction. This particular additional function which I explained above, is what the CBN should introduce. Such attached downloadable files would be very useful in tracking and tracing evil money. |
lessonotes:We cannot wait to have widely-accepted “cashless” means of paying for very small amounts.. (as low as N50.) And which wouldn't use “EXCESS BANK CHARGES” to discourage its use. |

cliqtips:. The truth is that.. For the sake of whatever that is good, we need to assume that they really do not know. (But in reality, we are very much aware that, “They Don't Really Care About Us”.) |
Mopolchi:You wouldn't conclude yet. There some other “Good Policies” which came from him. |
ACRI:Thanks. |
Thanksful:.. I pray that the NEXT GOVERNMENT has a Strong And Functional “E-PARTICIPATION PLATFORM” for Citizens.. That's All I Pray For. Then, lots of Citizens Ideas would be heard and be tested and/or fully implemented. |
Misterc:My brother.. In the U.S, laundering “dirty” money (another name for “evil money” -- or money gotten from criminality or illegal business) is not easy. -- but in Nigeria,, there is no need to launder anything. Once you get the evil money, just start spending it already. There is no way to even know whether the money is clean or not |
ecolime:Haahahahahaahhaaaahaahaaahhahaaaahaa ![]() Anyways, I will always pour out any ideas (especially on governance) that come into my mind. I shared lots of ideas on Electioneering in those days prior to the 2019 Election and even after the elections (Not on Nairaland though).. In those days, the INEC (on Facebook) would always acknowledge my ideas, and happily, I would see those ideas applied. Someone once advised me to be selling those ideas.. But then, the amount of patriotism in me is far more than the hunger for making money. So, what if they refuse to pay me (in order for me to voice out my ideas to them so that they can find ways to implement them), that means that I may have to keep my ideas with me, and it wouldn't be of help to anybody while it stayed untapped inside my mind. |
TalkTalkTwins:As Peter-Obi would always say... “The present government actually has very brilliant ideas and good policies.. But all the policies they have are just announced from Abuja, and explained very well on Paper.. BUT THE IMPLEMENTATION IS ALWAYS ZERO WITH ALL OF THEM.. |
Akwamkpuruamu:For sure. It won't be easy, but it is very very obtainable.. But you see,, some other Countries are already doing it. In fact,, the dollar bills, even here in Our Own Nigerian Banks, are being counted by such machines. Thus, The U.S Government knows who are with their cash, and the exact bills such persons are having, EVEN OUTSIDE THE U.S.. So you see am naa, since we are copying these countries in some things, let us also copy this particular one from them too. |
ExAngel007:This feels like paedophile. Until you start hearing from the “girl” and discover that she had a lot of experience, and that she is not a child. |
CBN SHOULD STRICTLY ENFORCE THE USE OF “DIGITAL MONEY-COUNTERS” In my own personal opinion: I think it is high-time the CBN makes and implement a very strong policy across-the-board to all the deposit-money-banks in Nigeria for the compulsory use of the “Digital Money-Counters” which read the Serial-Numbers on Naira Notes,, and do away with all these existing analogue counters. These special counters should be connected as “appendage hardwares” to computers; thus, the serial numbers of the cash that are withdrawn and/or deposited by the customers and/or clients of the banks would be recorded and stored in the bank’s database, and be readily released to the CBN at any time they might need it, either for recorded-keeping, statistics, or for tracking-and-tracing of cash. Stacks of cash that were previously counted and stored in the vault by such machines should have “Uniquely Generated Stack Codes”, and same should apply to “Bundles”; thus, whenever someone wants to withdraw money, the “Bundle/Stack Scanner” (from ANY bank across-the-board) would just have to scan the “Bundle-Code” or “Stack-Code” (as the case may be) and all the serial-number-identities of all the cash contained in such stacks or bundles (as previously counted and logged in the database) would be recorded against the withdrawer. For anyone that is paying-in or depositing money, the Money-Counter would have to count all the money all over again, without having to use the “Bundle/Stack Scanner”. I repeat, This policy would be very helpful for record-keeping purposes, for proper statistics of the money in circulation, as well as for proper tracking and tracing of the cash in circulation. As for some distress withdrawals (Such as RANSOM), or in the case of theft or robbery where the serial-numbers can easily be ascertained based on the “bundle/stack identities”, such monies can be reported to the CBN by the bank. In the case of “withdrawal for ransom” the withdrawer should pre-inform the bank, so that the money to be withdrawn can be reported to the CBN for it to be marked; and thus, all such notes would be RED-FLAGGED Nationwide. Once any Money-Counter (anywhere across the nation) starts seeing any of such money, it would immediately alert the CBN, and the Bank would get the Police to be aware of such discoveries... With this, it would be very easy to know and track the Depositors of such money, and that would very much aid the Police in their investigations. This particular policy is not in any way going to violate the “Privacy Policy”. Once everything is normal, there is no need to violate any privacy policy (the protection of the private information of the customer, and non-disclosure of such private information to any third-party). But once there are activities in any person’s account that requires the attention of the Law Enforcement Agents, it means that the rights of other citizens are hampered, and thus, “upholding of national values” takes precedence over “Privacy Policy”, even without the attention of the customer/client, so that the law will take its full course, irrespective of the privacy policy. The Summary Of Everything I Just Wrote Here Is: “LET CBN MAKE IT A STANDING POLICY FOR ALL THE BANKS IN NIGERIA TO BE USING ‘DIGITAL MONEY-COUNTERS’ IN ALL THEIR OPERATIONS”. |

Odewaleadesoye:This nonsense they used to do during the time he was President.. Everybody would just be massaging his ego. Those days, he had to win in every activity he performs in. Now, he still does that. He participated in the football, and scored a hat-trick,, and they happened to be the only goals.. Only him dat scoring is sweet to? When will Obasanjo’s Ego and Pride come down Sef?? |

mircos:Thanks for the appreciation. Actually, this is not an information. It's just a suggestion. From my inquiries and researches so far, such machines are already in existence at the moment., But those countries where such machines exist only use them to track (and/or trace) red-flagged currency-notes, and not for record-keeping nor for statistical purposes. |
SmartPolician:In reality every new-born-baby is supposed to be enrolled on the NIN Platform (according to the NIMC Establishment Act).. (But the NIMC is not doing that).. .. Thus, as NPC takes the “Records” of the number of childbirths and deaths, the NPC is supposed to enroll the same child into the identity database of the country (that is the NIN-Database), so that the country will officially count the baby as a citizen. (Or a baby born to international residents as the case may be).. But like I said earlier,, the NIMC are not doing their part with regards to newly-born-babies in the country. |
pat077:Unfortunately for you and me,, those previous ones they did were what the government is using to plan the economy.. And that's what the other countries and the international community is relying upon in doing anything with Nigeria as a PEOPLE. |
Chaaiii. The Rev. Father Ooo... Are they saying that candidate (the Rev. Father) did Ojoro in the Primaries.?? |
