I think we need to move to the next level just like 4play said.
We need to start beating them 5 to 6 goals.
That shd be our objective next season

I know . . . this is a coach that couldn't get Kanoute, Keita, Diarra and Sissoko to the quarter finals.
And that's who people want us to play?? Hehehe.

It's simple, if anyone wants to coach Nigeria, let him go out, win the African Champions League, send applications to other countries and win the Nation's Cup, believe me, we'll beg him to come coach the Super Eagles.
I remember Germany begging Otto Rehhagel after he won the Euros.
That's how things work . . . not someone coming to use us for trial and error.
Na wa ooh . . . we don suffer cheesy cheesy
i swear, if a coach wouldnt win the nations cup with the array of stars in the malian camp, then such an individual would make a mess of the average guys in our camp cheesy cheesy
keshi should concentrate on learning the trade first before coachin us

This is the same thing that happened with England. . . just check out the wonderful job Capello is doing with England.
Forget the wins, players live for him, he eliminated WAGS, they are on diets each time England plays . . . that's the kind of coach we need.
It's not about his nationality or skin colour, but I don't see any Nigerian coach doing that.
I don't even see any English coach that'll be able to do that.

People don't understand that football is not about sentiments.

The good thing about getting an experienced proven coach is the fact that they can help you train your local coaches.
We all know that a coaching certificate doesn't mean shyte. . .

Right now Capello is grooming Stuart Pierce and other English coaches to take up the job when he's gone.
If we don't do something soon, we'll let this generation waste.
We wasted Kanu, Yobo, Aghahowa and Utaka's prime years already . . . are we going to let Osaze, Mikel and Martins go without winning anything too??
Mint!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
we need a world class coach who will bring back the winning mentality in these boiz
these boiz are good enuff to play good footie but as it is, all our local coaches cant do jack
keshi just got fired in small Mali so what are we saying?

i think the word hope is giving peeps issues

i dont wanna believe we dont understand english

hope = trust, expect, anticipate, wish, look forward to

so how is hope in this context inappropriate?

if you believe in the abilities of peeps, u trust them to do some certain things based on some extraneous variables you cannot control; so hoping the SE will do well at the mundial is more than appropriate in the context i used it
but for those who wanna lobby or pick up boots, more grease to ur elbows

I will rather play for St Kitts and Nevis. . . . grin cheesy grin
lol; make we free those boiz
im sure they never planned to come out this way

Amodu, the players and the NFF should share the blame
if i draw a pie chart on this, each of them will carry 33.3% of the blame
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Ghana [0 - 1] by tkb417(m): 8:45pm On Jan 28, 2010
MrCrackles:
Una nor dey tire to dey hope?
Dont hope on an hopeless team my friend. . .
Wake up, the eagles are wastemen!!!!
hope in itself literally is all we can do

im not in the capacity to induce any changes to the team or the technical desk
if u cannot hope for a change, then pick up ur soccer boots and effect the desired change

hey you, dont u play div 10 in the UK?
time for u to replicate ur stunts at the national level cheesy

you still dey Qatar?  grin
Yes to be fair them strikers just left their scoring boots at home (or wherever it is) but then Ghana offered next to nothing.
1 chance 1 goal. . .heck there are U-21 for goodness sake.
No we have no excuse.
no i no dey Qatar o bros
i agree with you, we have no bizniz losing the game. One of their best performances in the competition but we lost

but why does Amodu like to play 4-3-3?
we need to be ready for the WC or else na wahala
SportsRe: Nigeria Vs Ghana [0 - 1] by tkb417(m): 8:30pm On Jan 28, 2010
JNdupu:
Hope.  I hate this word.  Same as Pray.  These words have been appropriated by Nigerians as a free pass for mediocrity.

What is the basis of that hope? The stinking pile of poo that played today.  The lost-in-an-adult-playground coach you employ?

Keep hoping and praying there while countries around you are developing. Positive football was the norm in this tournament apart from when our country played.  Paint drying, slow waka, wrong decisions.

Lobby for a change, not siddon hoping.

Hope ko, hopolopo ni.

Chei,  I vex oh.
ok, lobby for a change then if that makes you sleep well tonite
