my financial goal next year is

gross salary= X
side kicks = 2X

i must make double of my annual salary (min) next year from external runs
as for me, nothn is guaranteed even ma life so i have to be prepared for any eventuality. if my employer tells me to go to ma house today, ill run with ma 2 legs up singing halleluyah

Most CEO or CFO i know don't have it (mind you am a CFA level 2 candidate)

Finance at the top levels is very intuitive you don't need CFA(MBA maybe) to get the job done effectively. Just good old common sense and many years of experience is enough ( u no fit try that for engineering )

most CFOs and CEOs u know in Nigeria wont have CFA i agree cos finance in Nigeria is still in its formative years
i know almost all the CEOs of the IBs in Nigeria and a few of them are not even attempting to write it cos of the time and all u have to dveote

but, CFA charterholders are the ones calling the shots in the developed countries
walk in GS and paribas and check wht im saying. Even in the academia, the public sector, the CFA legion is growing in leaps and bounds

i do not know what u mean by finance at the top is done through intuition; get your facts right and dont say what comes outta your mind
if uve got no skills, u wont even get to the top

the CFA will teach u all u need to know about finance. A finance practitioner either at the top or below are all called financial analysts

so wht next do u want to say?

I agree the arses have been bedevilled with injuries in the past but hey i havent seen anything close to what just happened to UTD
the truth is, u'll never see UTD making noise about injuries cos anybody who comes on the field to play will do justice to the game

Financial analysis is still low level finance

Engineers are creating tools to automate these to the extent that the role is getting redundant these days.

chartered financial analyst

whatever u do, be it corporate finance, Portfolio mgt et al
u're a financial analyst

its job specs that will be different

u cant have both
