AutosRe: Toyota Echo (vitz) 1999/2000 Needed by tkovie2002(m): 3:00am On Sep 16, 2011
There's no Toyota Yaris for 1999/2000 .Yaris entered the production line in 2007 and is a continuation of the Toyota Echo which I think paused in 2001.

So, I guess you are looking for a Toyota Echo.

Koolking:
Whoever believes this report the Police is naive.

Police don't tell the truth, they always look for a way to prove they are working. Working in deed! Those they parade as the kidnappers, I pity them. I have no doubt they are victims of circumstance and will never go scot free.

I am sure they raided a joint and arrested those people and labelled them 'kidnappers' or forced them to accept they are the kidnappers. The issue is not an isolated cases, they abound especially in Lagos.

I have been in one, but God saved me i was able to bail myself and those who were not lucky were paraded as criminals. How would you justify your innocence in the Nigerian system. Police on patrol have committed unfathomable attrocities against innocent Nigerians. Whoever lacks this experience will alway extol the NPF

The story is not detailed. I would not want to bore us with lengthy write up.

I worked late. i was at the bus stop somewhere on Opebi, Ikeja, waiting to catch any available bus home. It was late - 11 - 11.30pm. The restriction on Okada movement made it worst.

Lo and behold, a bus [Danfo in Navy colour] pulled over in front of us. I was happy, I was going home at last after waiting for a time that seems like eternity at the bus stop.

My happiness was ephemeral when those who emerged from the bus were Policemen. They ordered us into the bus and called us wanderers. I showed my ID card and tried to explain why i was there at that time of the night. I was wasting my time trying to knock them down with a feather. You would only embarras your self or get killed if you struggle or argue stupidly trying to justify your innocence to whatever accusation they labelled on you.

Instead to take us to their station at area F, they decided to take us round the city of lagos preying on other people. At about 2am, that was when we got to their station.

At the station they asked us to bail ourself or we would be charged to court at Alausa for any criminal offence they may wish. Can you imagine that? One of them [met in the station] which our path had crossed sometime in the past, confided that i should give them whatever i had so that I could leave the place without them soiling my integrity. I considered calling a friend of mind who is a lawyer and at the same was discouraged by the Nigerian system in the Police force. At last I settled for an option of bailing myself. I was not bucks up, I asked to be allowed to visit any ATM around the station to get some cash. My phone was ceased to be convinced I would not flee. I later returned to station and gave them N3k after much arguement that it should be N5K. After giving them the money, they made advances for friendship, requesting for my business call card and phone numbers. It was a pathetic situation.

The fate of those who were still there was only known by God.
You can only deal with them if you can bug your confrontation with. It may admissible in your legal proceeding.

I don't see them as a functional public service agent but glorified criminals.

Most of our so - called 1st class graduates cant even couple back a dismantled generator. Am very sure with the right education and exposure, that guy could build an aeroplane.

Your right there, I have over 30 Ebooks on PHP alone, My entire Ebook library for IT, Make up 13 Gb!

As an instructor, i have been able to get good material that soot different factors, Like age, and past experience,

Now like PHP, an elderly person will not get to first read "Pack Publishing Object Oriented Programming with PHP",

I would rather he starts with "I hate PHP", so learning pattern also matters in learning programming!
Bro, I think we have some stuffs to share, 13GB of eBooks, u culd help me with a few, can I contact u?

ComputersProblem With Mtn Usb Modem (huawei E156g) by tkovie2002(op): 11:33am On Jul 04, 2010
Please Nairalanders,

I bought an MTN Huawei E156G USB Modem from a friend and it doesnt work with the MTN sim card at all, I tried everyother network sim card on it and it works perfectly, I even tried MTN Ghana on it and it worked, but when I put in my MTN Nigeria sim or any other MTN Nigeria sim, as soon as it connects to the network and starts browsing, it will disconnect and when i try to reconnect, it will say "you cannot connect without registering on an available network".

I dont really know what else to do, I have tried all tricks and tweaks on it, i upgraded the firmware, unlocked it, changed the Dashboard etc, None of them seem to work. I thought of going to MTN office, but I dont know if they will attend to me since it is already unlocked, firmware upgraded, Dashboard changed and above all, I didnt buy it from them directly.

Please you people should help me out on what I should do, all reasonable Ideas are welcome. Thanks.

Please Nairalanders, a friend of mine is seeking admission into National Open University to study Computer Science. I would like to know everything about the school, its reliability, if its well recognized like every other conventional university in Nigeria.

Also I heard that they have not graduated any set apart from the Ex-President Obasajno's set. Is that true?? Please fill me in with all necessary details as the time frame here is pretty short.

Thanks.

EducationRe: Wonder Twins Head For High School Aged Nine by tkovie2002(m): 12:01am On Mar 07, 2010
I am really really happy for those kids, Its not easy to be geniuses like that, Their parents have to be really careful about them and should not be over-confident in them. They should always be watched and guided as they will have to cope with growing up amongst older peers hence the pressure and they are suddenly matured (mentally) at a very young age and miss some "kid-hours" like someone stated earlier, which could probably affect them later (socially, in most cases).

Also, the fact that they are such geniuses means extra-work for them even though they are working extra hard already, because it will definitely tell on them later and could lead to some sort of break down at some point (if not controlled from the very beginning). I am talking out of personal experience as I also got into Secondary School at the age of 8 and graduated Secondary School at the age of 14.

There are so many other cases of such people in Nigeria, Nigeria is a GREAT country and we are born blessed. Every Nigerian child is a genius in His/Her own area. IMHO.
