bukonlami: @Frankrobbn1 So what should one expect after BIL.
You go to vfs to enroll for biometric...after you have done that, wait for cic instruction or decision. |

Tvickie: What if you’re on the eligibility review before you got the BVL? Is that a different scenario ? Yes so far you didn’t do upfront or get a medical exam request. |

Everybody keeps getting same mail. Is that a new trend? Might be!!! They tend to change their mood of operations every time so MAY applicants should be hopeful since it’s like everyone is getting the letter. 1 Like |

Gwendollyn: Good evening guys. I applied June 3rd. The VO that took my biometrics was really nice and he tried to make me understand that a times refusals are not necessarily about meeting the requirements or not. That they usually have a stipulated number of applicants that they are expected to accept at a period of time. And if for instance they are to accept a 100 applicants and you are the 101 applicant, there'd reject and just give you generic reasons for refusal. And also, this summer period is their peak work period so they usually encounter a number of delays. We should keep praying and hoping we pass the benchmark I think the information is right cos I have also read about it before... but those guys that takes your biometric informations are actually vfs officials not VO 2 Likes |

Your passport might be at vfs. They have a backlog because i was there on Thursday and there were so many people waiting to collect their passport and as at 4pm some people who claimed to have been there at 10am still didn't have their passport which isn't normal.
There were so many many passports in their " storage baskets" and I was surprised a company like VFS had no system to automatically tell in which basket and section a person's passport was in. They had to manually flip through every passport in every basket to find one passport and then they rinse and repeated this over and over again for every search, it was time consuming, people were impatient and aggressive and it smelled like dirty armpit everywhere. Thanks Boss |

fizgurl: Good morning. Been following the thread for a while now and please i need help from the gurus in the house. Early this year in january, i linked my online application to another account because i couldn't recover my password. Btw: i applied since last year June and that was my 3rd application after 2 refusals. The application is going to be a year 25th of this month. After several mails to cic there was no response, I gave up and decided to get something doing else.
Not until last week thursday, i got a mail saying there's a message in my account. I was excited, before i realized i don't have my login details again because my phone was flashed, i saved it on my phone, but i lost nearly all details as i didn't fully backup most of my stuff.
I've tried all the recovery questions means, tried to relink it again cuz i later found the login details to the very first one so i was using that means to try to relink but its saying application not found.
Now I'm at the verge of getting a reply to my application of almost a year and i can't retrieve my login details. Please anyone knows what can be done or how i can go about this.
Secondly, for those that got medical mail, please how many days deadline were you given to submit it just incase it was a medical request message or an additional document message. I received the mail on 13th june and this is17th.
Thanks
Open a new account and link you application or call cic number, find your way to call them outside Canada!! 1 Like |

BrainyBrainer: To the experienced people here, pls I'm on the verge of submitting my study permit application. I have a close tie sponsor(my brother) with sufficient fund for my masters application. My questions are: (1) If it makes any difference that he transfers the money into my account or it may remain in his account while I only present his bank statement. it makes a whole lot of difference because it shows that he is a genuine sponsor however it is very important you also present his SOA. You can’t submit your alone as they are also interested about your sponsors account balance after sending you the funds, his inflow and outflow. (2) since I am being sponsored, is it necessary that I provide my bank accohunt statement too? you don’t need to but if you will present some employment or business history, and documents to backed them up, you might have to show your own SOA to back those claims up. I.e transactions and monthly salaries should reflect
Pls your authoritative replies are highly Any advice or suggestion anybody gives you here is based on personal experience and research. That being said, you also need to make a little research to verify the validity of advice(s) given here... I wish you all the best. appreciated. . 1 Like 1 Share |
