Good afternoon guys, please can anyone interpret what this means? Is my application on background check or eligibility review? Thank you!
Background check... your eligibility hasn’t started

Hello house,

I have a question regarding changing DLI. Is it a good idea to change my DLI while my application is still in process?
I was requested to go for medical and it was updated to passed yesterday. School resumes in September.
don’t change DLI for now.. you can always change it later after you get your permit.

After being on background check since application date, eligibility check started yesterday 4th of June 2019 while correspondence letter just dropped this morning 5th of June 2019 . Hoping for the best anyway.
Expect the final decision soon.

There's no consequence, the only thing there is your gcms would tell you exactly why your application was denied which might be different or the same with wat ur loe explained..

If u reapply like u said and August is the only month inbtw, I advise you apply for a deferment of admission... it gives u time for your visa to be processed... even if u defer and the visa comes out in September or August, it's still a win/win situation... you will have ample time to prepare yourself..
Have you got your passport?

Hello gurus in the house, please how long does it take to get biometrics letter for paper application?

From @sillysally data analysis, it's same day as submission. If this is generally correct, will the biometrics letter be given to you immediately after submission or how do you get.

Will appreciate your kind responses. Thanks in advance.
Biometric should be done same day you submitted your paper application at vfs!!!

Congratulations again on the outcome of your study permit application!

If your school starts in September, I’ll advise you to, if possible, book your flight NOW! Like play like play, prices are inching higher and higher.

When do you think it’s okay to move because any time August its sure to get to over 400k if not 500k

Finally guys I got the response but was a refusal. See below.
"
I am refusing your application on the following grounds.
I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary residents, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR. Base on your financial assets and financial status."

Now I need your advice because I intend to reapply.
Closing balance on my account was 1.8m while the sponsor which is my husband is 10million +
The only assets I included was the land document of me and my husband.

Please all suggestions will be appreciated.
So sorry that your application was delayed. When did you get your correspondence letter? And I think you should put up your profile and the documents submitted so gurus can assist. I’m so sorry once again.

Thank you for this. I will be 31 by dec. I genuinely want to go for a Bsc just to correct my first degree. Just that it is possible i do a change of program after everything(i mean when i land canada).
Guess my chances are slim because of my age but will shoot my shot
1) So is it possible i include it in my statement of purpose?

2)Do i need a letter of English Proficiency?

Yes you can state it in your SOP.
I have answered your second question and it is NO.

Good morning house, please i need advice on what to do. Note;i have gotten an admission into University of Regina.
I have my first degree in Bsc Business Administration which i concluded in 2010.
University of Regina gave me admission to study Bsc International studies.
1)Please can i include in my Statement of purpose that i have a BSC in Business Administration from a university in Nigeria? Becos i believe they will want to know what i have been doing since 2005 when i finished Secondary school.
why bsc and not msc? I ask because considering your age which I know would be above 30 years(I guess that because you stated that you graduated 2010) the vo might not be convinced you’re going to Canada as a genuine student. I would advice you go for Msc or post graduate certificate.
2)I did not do IELTS to secure the admission but heard am to submit a letter of English proficiency as one of the documents needed for visa. Please can someone help on how to go about it?
you don’t need IELTS

Best of luck!!!

Please help answer these 2 questions for now because i am confused.

If I book an appointment for biometrics what is the time interval am most likely be schedule for one. Within how many days pls because I will be coming from Osogbo to Lagos to come have it done and would love to have it done on time. Or should I just take the risk and go hoping that they will answer me ?
Your question have been answered!!! Book an appointment with vfs, they will give you a date. Mind you the appointment is alien to us here so majority don’t have the answer to that.Just book an appointment already.
Best of luck!!!

LOL, there is no need for an appointment for Biometrics. The address and any info you may need has to be in the email or message sent to you.
Someone just said there is a new policy of booking an appointment before biometrics.
Kindly book an appointment before going.
