Moreover a friend from the north once told me, Fulani's are very vengeful and that Buhari have no economic plan for Nigeria.
His primary plan is to deal with the people who offended him, starting with Dasuki who was sent to arrest him during the bloodless Babangida's coup. Are you aware of the court order that Omo Agege should resume? So how is this related to what your friend from the north told you about Fulani people? |

aaronson: This doesn't even make sense by CBN.
How would the banks know large funds coming in are all from money laundry proceeds. I could as well tell the banks am a large scale real estate investor and still pay the excess charges so long as my money gets deposited.
So policing the banks by CBN in this regard is like a way of making them pay fine unjustly and nobody to police the CBN.
Abuse of power by CBN. No. It makes sense. A customer can tell any story to the bank. It's up to the bank to check and confirm. If you're a large scale real estate investor, where are your properties, customers, staff and sub contractors? In most cases, it's not so hard to recognise laundered money especially when it's large. |

This is the kind of question which we should be asking This is the kind of conversation we should be having everyday This question is issue-based We should be asking our government questions that are specific and measurable How many prepaid metres did Buhari meet in May 2015? How many prepaid metres are available to customers now (May 2018)? How many prepaid metres will be available by May 2019? Let's not make it tribal or political party based. Estimated billing is cheating and amounts to corruption Enough is enough! Why should supplying metres which customers will PAY FOR become a problem? This is the kind of thread that should be on the front page, rather than stories of cleavage baring slay queens futurism: I have been thinking about this for some time now and I would like people in the know to help with answer.
Why aren't there prepaid meter for supply?
Is it politics or there really are non available for use?
I mean did they stop the supply of the prepaid meter because they make more money from houses that do not have the meter or it is true that meter are not really available?
Please if anybody has an idea why people can not get prepaid meter from power companies, please answer

https://leadership.ng/2018/05/06/disagreement-over-dirty-naira-note-turns-bloody-in-lagos/Leadership Nigeria Newspaper NEWSDisagreement Over ‘Dirty Naira Note’ Turns Bloody In LagosPublished 15 hours ago on May 6, 2018 By Kreazetofa Odey A disagreement between a commercial motorcyclist and his passenger over a dirty Naira Note, yesterday in Lagos, turned bloody as irate youth beat the cyclist to a state of coma. A correspondent of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) who witnessed the incident, reports that the cyclist, identified as Okon Akpan, had conveyed his passenger, also identified as Miss Titilope Fatai, from Okokomaiko to Iyanoba market for a fee of N200. Trouble however started when Fatai gave the cyclist N500 but when Akpan gave his passenger her N300 balance, made up of N200 and N100 Notes, the lady returned the N100 Note and requested for replacement on the grounds that it was “too dirty”. A heated argument ensued as the cyclist insisted he did not have a neater note to replace the ‘smelling’ one as demanded by his passenger. As Akpan tried to leave without reaching an accord, the lady slapped him and he, in return, started beating her. Unkown to the cyclist, the lady was popular among the street unchins around, who in turn, reacted by also giving Akpan a thorough beating to a state of unconsciousness, and thereafter dispersed. His fellow commercial motorcyclists had to come to his rescue, after which they took him to an undisclosed hospital. A traffic policeman at the scene, Mr Uzochukwu Amadi, described as ‘dreadful’ the behaviour of the youth. Reacting to the incident, a lecturer with the Lagos State University, Dr Kaka Afolabi, appealed to the Central Bank of Nigeria to inject new Naira Notes into the system, adding that the current ones in circulation were ‘eye sores’. “We expect the authorities concerned to act quickly before more Nigerians fall victims of dirty Naira Notes. “Our present N100 is the worst; it is no longer durable and its acceptability has become subject of debates during transactions, thereby leading to quarrels in most cases,’’ he noted. |

Chuksonyeike: V
All the offences that Dino is charged with are bailable and Dino will definitely secure bail on all charges I like the way you have clarified it. But just hope that one of the offences is not robbery or murder. Do you know why? SARS is involved. The two arrested suspects have allegedly confessed to 'several kidnappings and robberies in different towns' and have been on the wanted list for two years. There is also the issue of criminal conspiracy and unlawful possession of prohibited fireams. The issue may be deeper than you think. The offences (criminal conspiracy, culpable homicide and kidnapping) under sections 97 and 221 of the Penal Code Law and the Kogi state Kidnapping, Thuggery and other Related offences Prohibition Law 2010 are NOT ordinarily bailable. In whatever we do, we should always be careful. |

Chuksonyeike: if you like arraign him on all charges with N2billion surety on all charges he will definitely be granted bail and meet up all his bail conditions. All offences are bailable and there is simply nothing Buhari can do about it. Point of correction: not all offences are bailable. I'm not interested in this case but I just felt the need to correct you. |

NwaAmaikpe:

Nice one TonyeBarcanista. I'm with you on this.
The truth is; Nigerian governors; mostly those in the South are ball-less scarecrows.
Imagine Benue state had a governor like Adams Oshiomhole or Taraba had a governor like James Ibori. All these anarchy would have been tackled headlong from the state.
What we see today are powerless governors who depend on the President's order to carry out their assigned job as Chief Security officers of their own states.
This will forever be unjustified. Let's not be emotional about this. What's wrong is wrong. What's the standard practice in management? Match responsibility with authority. Not so? |
Politics › Re: Abdulaziz Yari: Governors Toothless To Secure Their States by TMemos: 2:10pm On Apr 28, 2018 |
TonyeBarcanista: False...
The CP will act immediately if he has the capacity and call his AIG to brief him of the situation. Please don't just try to defend the wrong policing model we have here. Please. It's grossly efficient and gives the responsibility of security to governors without the authority to back it up. So, one of two things: It's either you STOP referring to the governors as the chief security officers of their states and saddle the security responsibility on the president, OR Let states have their own police and assume full responsibility and authority for the security in their states. And of course the second option is the more efficient one in a federal system. |
