Good question.

You just like arguments

I was the one who first wrote before you came up with your view.

I still don't know the fresh view or info you're providing.

I've asked you for this view and you're pushing it back to me.

does d picture tell u d mans life history or it just captured a moment in d guys life?does d picture tell u what happened a day b4, a week b4, a month b4 or a year b4? Its like seeing a picture of someone sleeping and cause of that u say thats all there is 2d person
You must like arguments just for their sake.

Now, let's go back. What is the different thing you're saying from what I said?

I read u very well but seems u didn't read me well. Am not making a conclusive statement but just d same u assume d guy didn't kneel down just by looking is same am assuming there's a likelihood that he has done his own kneeling cos looking @d pix he isn't a visitor like d other guys
From the picture, is he kneeling down?

I said, the picture is not enough to make conclusions.

What additional point have you made?

lexy2014:
so how can u also that he hasn't knelt down b4 just looking at d picture?
Read me very well.

I didn't make a conclusive statement on that. What I'm saying is that the single picture doesn't provide an opportunity to do that.

lexy2014:
do u no how many times d guy not kneeling down kneels down on a daily basis? He has done his own fair share of kneeling down. He is just taking a rest. When d visitors leave, he will continue
Can you know from the picture? Do you have additional information that has not been provided?

That's the issue here
CultureRe: Blacks Kneel Down To Greet Ooni Of Ife In His Palace, Whites Sit Down by TMemos:
There's also a black man not kneeling down.

So what's your point?

The picture is therefore not enough to make any reliable conclusion.

We don't know why the black guys are kneeling down
We don't know how long the black guys spent kneeling down
We don't know if the black guy NOT kneeling down never knelt down
We don't know if the black guy NOT kneeling down ever knelt down
We don't know if the white guys ever knelt down
We don't know if the black guys kneeling down chose to do it

how do you people manage to do it, how hard can it be to keep your head out of the water, or, at least, stay in the shallow end of the pool? When it's not the Atlantic Ocean, and you people are drowning upandan in ordinary pool...
There a number of reasons.

Some people pass out while in the pool even at the shallow end.

Some for some reasons drift, sometimes unknowingly, to the deep end.

CareerRe: Sack Of Married Female Staff:Lawyer Establishes Facts Against Globacom, sues N50b by TMemos: 10:24am On Mar 22, 2018
enemmo:
The Lawyer should be able to prove beyond reasonable doubt...if he does his homework well. I am biased because when I was in telecoms there was news about shady practices at Globacom. And not all married women were affected but those in 'Glo World' aka Globacom shop.
I love your admission of bias. But the two greatest cracks in the case are:

1. An employer doesn't have to state the reason for termination of appointment.

2. There are still married women in the company's employment. Don't be surprised that many of those married women would happily stand as witnesses against the plaintiffs. So how can you objectively establish a case of discrimination here?

I'll really like to know the outcome of this case. I'll like to know the plank of the lawyer's argument.

Some shady practices are immoral but not necessarily illegal. They are usually slippery to prove in court too. But I admit that they could be embarrassing for the employer whether or not they're convicted.

In any case, the shady practices are not the grounds for this suit.

enemmo:
He is not o.

If he can prove majority of the laid off staff are married women, lobatan
Even if he can prove that, it means nothing. Cases must be proved beyond reasonable doubts and not based on statistics which could be coincidental.

Another question is: why weren't all the married women in the company sacked?

Joshchi:
If you disengage a worker based on tribal, religious, tribalist or marital discrimination then you'd face the law. Grounds for dismal are usually misconduct or company's downsizing
You are free to disengage an employee without giving any reason. But when you give a reason you must prove it.

You're right about not disengaging (the right word is not dismiss) an employee on discriminatory grounds.

No it was not stated on the first letters leaked on twitter. The latter letter in circulation with married as justification seems to be fake.
I guessed as much. Which sensible HR person would write marital status as the reason for disengagement?

In any case, an employer need not write or state the reason for terminating the employment of a staff. In the same vein, an employee need not give any reason for resigning his/her appointment.

I just this lawyer is not just wasting their time and money.

There is a better approach to this.

They won't leave you alone because the globe has become a village. What happens here affects them elsewhere.

You're also a member of several bodies. Isn't it?

Thirdly, they're helping you with this type of ratings and through several grants and technical assistance.

Do you have any other question?

What other state have put this kind of law that intends to isolate others from their schools?
It's up to other states to enact theirs.

Lagos is a federating unit in Nigeria.

No one can stop it from enacting laws to conduct the affairs of its House of Assembly or determine the criteria for admission into state-owned institutions.

Repeat: NO ONE!
PoliticsRe: Is Yoruba Now The Official Language Of Nigeria? by TMemos: 6:55pm On Mar 11, 2018
webincomeplus:
Every state in Nigeria has varying proportions of Hausa, Igbo, Yoruba and other tribes. But that doesn't rule out the fact that the state belongs to only one particular tribe.

In the case of Lagos, it's a Yoruba state. Take it or leave it. And the state government is free to enact any law in the interest of its native language.

To whoever is embittered by the laws, it's not a must to study in Lagos state. If all other states do the same, there's nothing wrong in that. In fact, most states have always been doing things that favor their own indigenes and tribes for decades. It's only the approaches that vary.
Where are you?

I need to give you a bottle of vintage wine.

It is not by force to learn an indigenous language, especially for non indigenes. As far as I am concerned, there are only two official languages in Nigeria: English and French.
Who made French official?

When did it become official?
