I wrote a dissertation on PPP (Private Public Partnerships), in the transportation sector of Nigeria with specific reference to roads using the PFI (Private Financial Initiative) scheme,

A brief explanation here on PFI scheme is a contract between the government  and a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV). Most SPV's include funding organisations (i.e banks, investment houses), construction companies (Julius berger, setraco etc), facility management companies (Dnt knw any).

On interviewing people from this institutions, all of them in one way or the order agree that the main opposing factor i.e risk to this arrangement was "Political Instability", uncertanity about continuity,

Clear example of this is Yara' Go-slow revoking some of the contracts made by the Obasanjo government (even if they are both from the same political party), imagine what it would be like if it was an AC or ANPP candidate.

4. Maintenace Capability
5. Perception of General Public to Infrastrucure

I came across an advert here in the UK for Project Planners/ shedulers in Nigeria in a fabrication company.

I am trying to use my Nigerian origins/ background to find out the recruiting company and apply on my own which might increase my chance of getting the job.

At first when i heard the news of the sacking, i was perplexed and lambasted Sanusi for undertaking this "surgical" clear out
as someone who has been investing on the stock exchange for some time, i knew d market was going to take a serious bashing again when it was just recovering

but looking at it now, I totally support Sanusi's actions and the disclosure of debtors,
Imagine people collecting loans with the intent of not paying and thinking its another national cake

I also support EFCC arresting & prosecuting this people becos it is the language Nigerians understand

In Nigeria, you have to go "Gung ho" or else you would be taken for a ride
I do not think people or business here in the UK take loans with the sole aim of not paying them off,


Its a shame that companies like Jite's Notore or Rockson Engineering would not service their loans or at least negotiate a payment plan

And those who say why did CBN sign off the Oceanic acounts, The accounts was an 18 month audit for the year ending december 2008 while the recent compiled list is as at May 09

And lastly, screw Cecilia Ibru for realeseing bumper quarterly Accounts only to give us "Dog" fooder at the year end when she knew what was going on all along, I hope she and her entire board rot in prison and from there transfer to the deepest part of HELL

Although, i agree that VC and Hotels should pay a premium on these matches,

I honestly do not agree to the 20k per month cost for viewing centres, and from what people say its just a single decoder so during champions league games or soccer saturday, all fans would all watch the same thing,

i agree with HiTV increasing the subscription costs but not at the astronomical rates,
if a viewing centre pays 20k per month, wat will he take home after Fuel, generator maintenance, security etc

and increasing the "normal" price from 4k to 6k is a bit too much, 5 k might have been a better rate

If "safe" GTBank is on board then they should advise them on this salient points, IMO
