Go and read from around page 300 of the part 1 and this part from the beginning. I don't think there is any other school that was discussed as much as Rhine Waal in the whole of the thread. Even, there was once a fierce debate on that topic which spanned over a page or two.
Yes you can, about two weeks ago, this was reconfirmed by the representatives of the consulate at an event jointly organised by them. I asked them personally and the answer was in the affirmative. I have rebooked an appointment with the admission I have at hand.

To my TUM people, I think I have accidentally fallen into your family circle. I was looking to apply for a course there, Advanced construction and Building Technology. I sent my docs for pre-evaluation last year and I was told to apply and I had a very strong chance of entering if I wrote their more than 5,000 word essay from selected topics, however their application will not start until later. so, I applied to another course in same school which opened earlier and in which I think I was qualified for, although an essay was written but with lesser word count than the former. Since they use same online application portal and would share same documents, I used the opportunity to send the docs earlier.

Now, in the middle of the difficult essay, a routine check on the website, yielded that I can't apply to the Msc. Advanced Construction and Building Technology again because TUM have decided to end the programme. Now, I'm stuck with the other course. I sent my docs on 17th of March (31st deadline), but Nipost didn't disappoint because the last time I decided to check, the docs were uploaded on TUM online, (I thought it didn't meet the deadline earlier, didn't really care)
TUM, needs 70% for automatic qualification, (60-69, interview) my GP has given me 46/54% and I will need to squeeze enough points from the16% designated for the motivation letter and essay, 30%. If all goes well, am as good as in.

I have made further enquiries as regards opportunities in Munich and also a survey from different cities currently for student jobs for people without German proficiency and from what I can gather, Munich ain't that easy as against popular opinion and rent for houses is above the roof (no puns intended). Hamburg is way fairer for a Nigerian in terms of jobs (relative). Your inability to understand basic German could mess up big opportunities for you and one could be left with crumbs if there are any available.

1. When having your authentication done, do you go to the embassy with only one university application form or all the universities you are applying to? (For me: 5 universities, 3 are uni assist)

2. Must the applicant be eligible for the course in his home country or Germany would follow a different standard? My cousin cannot be admitted for law in Nigeria due to his Ssce bad literature grade, can German universities grant entry into their studienkolleg upon this?

3. What is your advice on accommodation for someone who has no family in Germany?

I also travelled all the way to Lagos, lodged in a hotel went to Embassy the next day which was on a Wednesday. I never knew there was a time frame issued by the embassy because i thought it was done during normal working hours on a working day. Alas when i got to the embassy 12pm on Wednesday they bluntly refused to help me certify my documents. Just common certification i pleaded and pleaded. I told them to reconsider since i was coming from far. I stood there for long. No one accepted to collect my documents. They said it can only be done MON - WED 8-10:30 latest. I couldnt stay back with mounting hotel bills from Wednesday uptil Monday besides my job would have been at stake.
So I ended travelling back and doing it at a more expensive rate. This is just to inform intending applicants especially those travelling from far.

The statement is absolutely necessary in view of the question asked. All info abt time during which the embassy attends to students for different services are always up to date on dia webpage which can change at any time without any announcement. The

The fact that we are all aspiring to achieve something means loads of sacrifice most b put into it. There are some lil infos we don't need to come back to this group to ask wen we could spare less Dan 5 mins to confirm online.

Anoda person just stated he wants to leave osogbo tomorrow to come certify documents in Lagos without taking just 5 mins to verify if d place he is going to will work or not. Won't just spending 5 mins online spare him d stress of d joney to Lagos only for him to b disappointed?

If we just spare 1/10 of d time we spend on WhatsApp, pinging and d rest just on gathering some basic info and seek help wen we get to d more advanced one, den things will work beta

Bro, please don't waste your time coming to lagos tomorrow ooo. The embassy only certifies docs from Monday-Wednesday and from 8-11am. So you better go to Lagos on the weekend so you can make it for Monday or Tuesday and remember to take your complete docs original and photocopy with your intl passport and the filled application form of the uni that you are applying to.

I took my laminated testimonial to the embassy for certification and the (asian? ) lady did not complain. She just went ahead with the certification process and I returned later for my docs.

Its not an issue, dey av a way off cutting open d lamination. Some of my documents were laminated and I still got dem certified with a seal
