that amount is per month (not per year as indicated) excluding allowances and what they will embezzle . Chanchit: If that's how much they receive pre year, then its not that much, since there are some bankers that take over 1m home monthly and some NNPC workers that take close to 3m home monthly, if that's relly how much they collect, then we really need to focus more on corruption their salaries is not the problem, their allowance could be sha, but definitely not the salaries. |

please send any useful material to my email: joelastics480net@gmail.com "Let the flux link the world" fluxview: Electrical engineers should take note of this question before going for an interview or practical aptitude test. if you do not know 85% of the answers now as your reading it for the first time then you have work to do on yourself. Because of the nature of our university system(un experience lecturers with little or know industrial knowledge) and poor industrial training program, most of us graduated without knowing that these questions are the key to nailing any interview in electrical power section(instrument and process control will come later). i can only vouch for AEIT for now wrt practical training.
1= What is the different between a solid state relay and an electromagnetic relay. 2= Why is it that an electrical motor using 480VAC is runs on a star/delta circuit. 3= Draw the control and the power diagram of a direct online motor. 4= What is single phasing of a 3 phase motor. 5= What is the function of a relay, contactor, and overload relay in a motor circuit. 6= what is the full meaning of MCB,MCCB and OLR 7= Name five part of an AC motor 8= Know your motor calculation, viz a viz slip. efficiency, speed. 9= How do you reverse the direction of a DC motor. 10=How do you reverse the direction of an AC motor. 11=what are the causes of a motor overload. 12=The speed of a motor is determine by what two factors 13=What is the different between synchronous and asynchronous motor. 14=Explain the operation of an induction motor. 15=How effective are you in the use of megger meter and analog/digital meter. 16=What are the different type of motor overload protection devices and how are they connected. such as fuses, OLR, MCB, MCCB, phase failure device, under current device, etc. 17=what do you understand by Power factor correction, what are the types of power factor correction and why is power factor correction important. etc. 18= Add more electrical motor question that you have come across in the interview.
everything having being said is know your motor, transformer and practical basic electricity very well. note that you do not need to answer all the questions being asked in an interview but you need to answer a quite number of the question asked to your best, keep it simple and clear but before you get to this stage, your cv should speak for you. consult other trends to learn how to write a very good cv.
i have 4 pdf and an electrical maintenance video to give out to those who want it. i have had my day, struggle to get here, made sacrifices, waited resources in search of practical electrical knowledge. the key is NEVER GIVE UP. one of your best aid to learning is www.youtube.com there are so many short videos to explain most interview question. |

Car Talk › Re: Share Your First Driving Experience And Mishap>>> by Tnycee(m): 12:27am On May 14, 2015 |
Mine was in 2004. I have been watching my dad drive for a while, so one blessed day when he left for PH without his car, I decided to go for a spin. went into his room, dug out the "spare key" and pulled out the BMW 3 series. I was just swerving in and out of my lane until I got to a very bad hilly road and the car wasnt moving again (was trying to climb a hill with a wrong gear) so i decided to come out and give the car a little push backward. Lo and behold, the little push turned into a major one cos the car started rolling backwards. i was standing outside, holding the steering and running backwards until the car door hit a tree, a fence and was now fully open at 180 degrees . the car stopped. I tried to force the door back to close position, i couldn't. I managed to make it "look closed". I took it home told them what happened. my dad was just "rakking" Everyone pitied me but I told them I wanted to pay for the repairs myself. I did, and since then ive been careful...now we fly on wheels. |

waternogetemeny: Yorubas are the biggest coward to ever walk the earth.
U talk about a civil war u fought as a whole country supported and funded by US, UK AND Russia that lasted three and half year and u still lost like an achievement.
We killed more Nigerian troops than the vice versa, do u know wat that means?
It means u lost the war. bi tch!
We actually want that next war with the southwest, just us? How about that? Yoruba's might be cowards at war...I definitely don't know about that cos I am not a Yoruba. I also know you're not from the Niger Delta (Niger Deltans are men of high repute, they don't rant like you. But if you are, then you are a disgrace to ND). So you are from the East. You crave for war but yet have nothing to fight for. Go and do something better for yourself. YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT WAR |

I like your spirit...but from the way you sound, I can tell you missed the "Civil War". Try and ask someone about it. (someone who was there) illiad1: War it is then! Let me die the death than leave it for my next generation.

No tribe is useless. I think the problem of this country is Bad leadership. I think country can make laws and policies that will benefit the common man on the street. Dividing the country solves nothing. truefact: Why Yoruba and Hausa afraid of being on their own? Domt they hate the Igbos again? Useless tribes |

Let it surprise you to find out that im from Niger Delta...but I refuse to be clouded by sentiments. Has it ever crossed your mind that even if this country is divided, you will still have an internal problem in the divided Nigeria? The way Nigeria was structured was so that the south and north cannot do without each other. This perils of this country is as a result of the greed of a handful of politicians. babilicious: I know you're hausa cos you people only understand the following words War, Violence, boko haram and terrorism.....pls you people don't want us...please let us go nah....#peacefulexit# |

It could have been aqua phobia...thanks for noticing though. I believe you got an idea of what i was trying to put across. Adaeze003: Oh my goodness... hydrophobia? seriously?! Do you know what that is associated to?
Just today I saw somewhere a girl used coulomb's law to explain attraction of positive n negative charges(or in this case, humans). Now, one who doesn't like to shower is "suffering from hydrophobia"...
Can you guys just stop and think about what you're about to type before you do? |

You lack wisdom... You think you will just sit on a round table, use compass and ruler to divide this country. you are craving for the country to divide as if you know what is involved in it. bennynaza: These are pictures from my small but promising Palm Oil and Kernel Mill. I sort of inherited the mill from my father (still alive but unwell) and have decent years of experience working and now running the business. The business is highly profitable and is guaranteed to be even more lucrative if reasonable capital is invested in it. And I am looking to get such help from government or any private investor(s). P.s. I am lettered by the way.(B.A. History and International Studies) 2010. UNN. I love your courage guy. you have the same mind as me. that is exactly the same thing i want to go into. I have some acres of tenera palm trees, but i dont have a mill yet. I would so much appreciate if you can give a list of machinery to buy and their prices I'm lettered too B.Eng Power & Machines |

Thank you very much sir. I believe that with God, there is always a way and God is never late. I just sent you a mail on NL...I need you to respond so I can get your email address. if you send me a blank message at joelastics480net@gmail.com(unofficial), I would also get your adress and reply with my CV. Thanks again. xfire: Wow...good grade, marketable course. I just recently recommended 2 fresh engineering grads to the director of an indigenous oil servicing company. If your post had come a little earlier, I probably would have included your name. I must confess such opportunities don't come to me frequently though. However, you can send me your CV. I am not promising anything as I'm just an ordinary employee myself. Besides, the oil industry (where I work) is on a downward trend as crude prices fall. Almost all oil servicing companies are currently 'rationalizing' (laying off) staff strength. IOCs are not exempted too. However, I will look out for any opportunities (even outside the industry) and get back if I find any.
Cheers... |
