pls i am doing some work with a hospitality establishment. They have wireless internet facilities but the want to manage it so that they can provide the access only for recognised members.

i need help, my Dell Latitude D505, Pentium M, 40Gb, 512RAM, operating on Windows XP fails to standby, it just shows "preparing to standby" but it doesn't, i always have to shut it down by pressing the power button , and i hate doing that
