Quintessence44: Seriously, I want to know what is being taught to civil engineers and urban and regional planners in Nigerian universities. They are the absolute worst. As an example, there is a neighborhood in my locality where the main express is built with cobblestone bricks while the inner streets are built with asphalt bitumen. Downright distasteful. Most of them are not qualified to build roads. It's not for lack of fund, it's for lack of actual expertise. Most people simply copy and paste some already shoddy work and recreate same shoddy work. They do not understand how to build roads for a neighborhood, much less one that is attractive. 1 Like |

chubinwa: This is a good road. But I have issue with Nigerian road construction in general. When building things, we need to account for practicality rather than just building for the sake of building. This road is missing a pavement. Why? Also, it needs trees. Trees are essential to increase happiness and also filter oxygen. 1 Like |

It's great, but it is missing two things: planted trees and pavement over the gutters. These are essential and should be a staple of road construction. Kudos to them for including street lights. You can see that woman walking on the main road. That's a big NO. It is dangerous 2 Likes |

EVERY IGBO PERSON MUST START TITHING IMMEDIATELY. AND BY TITHING I DON'T MEAN GIVING 10% OF YOUR SALARY TO SOME STUPID MANIPULATIVE PASTOR THAT WILL USE THE MONEY TO BUY PRIVATE JET. I MEAN EVERY IGBO PERSON NEEDS TO INVEST 10% IN DEVELOPING HIS/HER VILLAGE IN THE SOUTH EAST OR TO INVEST IN ANY INDUSTRY IN THE SOUTH EAST. IMAGINE IF EVERYONE GIVES OUT 10% TO SAY PAVE THE ROAD OF THEIR VILLAGE OR BUILD A LOCAL CLINIC OR PLANT TREES OR LANDSCAPE THE COMMUNITY OR BUILD A LIBRARY, RECREATIONAL CENTRE, OR UPDATE DILAPIDATED BUILDINGS, OR TO INVEST IN SKILL ACQUISITION FOR THE COMMUNITY OR TO IMPROVE THE FACILITIES OF SCHOOLS IN THE COMMUNITY AND ENSURE EVERY CHILD BELOW 16 GOES TO SCHOOL. WE WILL NEVER COMPLAIN ABOUT OUR LEADERS. IGBO PEOPLE WHERE EVER YOU ARE IN THE WORLD. IT IS TIME TO BUILD AND DEVELOP THE SOUTH EAST, STARTING FROM YOUR VILLAGE. WE NEED ARCHITECTS, ENGINEERS, URBAN PLANNERS, BOTANISTS, VETS, ETC. EVERYONE ON BOARD. IF YOU ARE AN IGBO PERSON PLEASE LIKE AND SHARE THIS COMMENT. WE NEED TO START TITHING 1 Like |

No, you should offer yourself as sacrifice to a pastor since your brain is clearly useless. The world would do well without you staining it. Any human that carries their hard earned money to give a rich corrupt man is a foolish idiot that needs to die. When there are poor children out there on the street that need help, many community projects that could be done if we all brought our 10% and used it to develop our communities and neighborhood. Things like street light, planting trees, paving the road, purchasing bins, etc. Yet you fool will carry your money and give it to a criminal pastor in church. May your God punish you the moment you do something as stüpid as that 1 Like |

To solve the African problem, we have to ban Africans from travelling abroad. Especially the politicians. Imagine if politicians know that the moment they get into politics or hold any political office, they won't be allowed to travel abroad for things like medical treatment or to send their kids to school. Most of them would be reluctant to hold any political position. Black Africans are like small children, the way they think. Consumerism culture and low intelligence 2 Likes 1 Share |
