what a thread grin grin
I thought I was the only one who doesn't like killing rats immediately. I love torturing them to death.

One December I caught a huge rat and killed it by purchasing a knockout Bomb of #200 from one banger seller, tied the rat around the bomb, sparked it and watch from a safe distance how I blew it's intestines out grin

another one Instead if killing it, I cut all four legs off totally with a scissors and threw it outside our gate in the middle of the road to find its way home. few minutes after struggling to move, an eagle picked it up grin grin

most times when I catch a rat, I throw it inside a big empty Dano milk container i specially designed for rat torture, pour a little petrol or kerosene in the container, close the lid then light it up grin They Scream till they Give up The Ghost and burn grin that'll teach em a lesson never to FWM

Nobody can convince me that you are not a psychopath.

for me I don't have same pattern of writing, different ball pens, different writing pattern's, my writing using a pen is always different from my writing using a pencil. I can't really say look at the way my writings look like, because different scenarios can inference my writing looks.

I agree with you... Though I do not consider my handwriting as beautiful, but the kind of pen I use in writing also plays a part.. Reason why I do not like to use a pen anymore once I have used about 2/3 of the ink.. the ink flow becomes heavy and makes my handwriting more ugly.

NYSC / Re: Your NYSC Questions Answered by Tohmilola(f): 9:52pm On May 05, 2019
HeliosHay:
Hello house,

I got the below NYSC Timeline in a WhatsApp group I'm currently in.

I graduated abroad and I'm looking to do NYSC this year (ideally in batch C), during which stage of the timeline below do I come in (I'm guessing stage 7)? As in, when do I go to the NYSC portal to start uploading documents and stuff? Does the Senate list apply to me?
The Senate list doesn't apply to foreign trained graduates. By calculations, batch C registration should start by September. Once registration begins, all you have to do is upload all necessary documents.... nothing else.
NYSC / Re: Your NYSC Questions Answered by Tohmilola(f): 9:43pm On May 05, 2019
HeliosHay:

Please, help me ask him how he went about it.

Is it also true that foreign-trained graduates get to choose where they want to serve and it's given to them i.e. they don't have to work it?
Hehe...
That's was a long time ago, not anymore...
There's no special treatment for foreign trained graduates....
You don't get to pick where you want.

I had no issues.
It was that same slip I attached...

Thanks. I have that slip.

But a corper who I met at the NYSC secretariat on Friday was telling me that after camp, some officers from the NYSC NDHQ came from Abuja to verify the certificates of all foreign trained graduates in all NYSC camps and the slip they issue is the slip we would use??

We were also told about these said officers coming from Abuja on the first day of camp during orientation lecture. I could remember the social director saying “foreign trained graduates, please don’t leave camp so quickly after camp o, because some officers from Abuja are coming to verify your certificates and if you don’t meet them, your option will be to go to NYSC hq in Abuja for the verification.

Now the thing is, I actually didn’t leave camp early. I was actually the 2nd to the last corper to leave camp and I saw no officers from Abuja. The camp officials also made sure all corpers (both locally and foreign trained left camp by 2pm) Though i left by 4pm, because I was in a shop at the mammy market and have removed my uniform.

So perhaps, the said officers from Abuja coming to verify certificates didn’t reach our own camp?
Okay, now I'm scared ... i heard from friends too before going to camp that foreign graduates do undergo verification after the general registration. But in my camp(jigawa) there was no second verification, and it's just that first verification slip i have with me...
Going to the secretariat today tho, I hope all goes well.

I am a foreign trained graduate. I went to camp in Ogun and did relocation to Lagos.

I was at the Lagos secretariat for Registration and one of the requirements for registration is “physical verification slip”

Please what is this and how do I get it?

Any foreign trained graduate in the house
During your registration in camp, after the nysc officials checked your documents, there's a slip that you should have been given, which states that your documents have been checked, and the nysc official who checked them will write his or her name and sign... thats a verification slip

cry cry please i want to know if after registration and payment , i decided not to go to camp due to the distance from my state and shift it to next year or another batch .
will i be given another state(camp) or will it still be that same state (camp ) i have to serve ,
will i have to pay 3000 naira registration fee again

and pls whats the implication of not going this year (after registration)

You will be posted to another state.
You don't need to pay again.
There's no implication for not showing up with this batch. You can go with any other batch.

Heemcelph:

You don't need anything from your secondary school for NYSC camping, you don't even need your WAEC result. Do more research regarding the acceptance of statement of result from a foreign institution, you can ask them dirctly via their twitter handle.
Don't misguide him. Foreign students need to present their original waec result. The one with the waec logo. It will be requested for during camp registration.

I’m a foreign trained graduate in need of Evaluation letter from Federal Ministry of Education Abuja.

Who has a contact that can run it for me.

I schooled in the Republic of Benin

I don’t want to take chances of going to camp without the letter.

Though I have my call up number already.

Please advise
Were you sent a text to upload evaluation letter before you got your call up number ?
If not, then you don't need to get one before camp
only those who were specifically told to upload evaluation letter, will be asked for it in camp.

Op, you funny die!

I read all the comments from you and others up there and I just laugh.

You all are bunch of jokers! cheesy

Especially the op.

He will know that God truly exist when he will not see any woman to marry until the deadline passes.
This period of his family pressuring him to get married is his turning point to believe God truly exist.
He can't beat God to it.

When he has gone past the deadline, and no wife, things will starts unfolding in his life. Then by force, he will accept God truly exist.

Lemme just be chewing my pop corn here, as he runs frantically up and down looking for a wife online and offline. Bloody joker!

Lol.

Why do you have to portray God as one who makes people miserable and helpless just to prove and accept that He is God? I really don't think this scornful comment was necessary.

thank you so much for your insightful contribution, i know this not hibiscus plant too
You are welcome smiley
Education / Re: What Is The Name Of This Leaf Please? by Tohmilola(f): 8:32am On Feb 04, 2019
This isn't Hibiscus plant. Unfortunately I don't know the name of this plant but it's definitely not the one used for zobo.

The shades of colour they give when boiled are totally different. Hibiscus has more of a black currant colour while this leaf, when boiled has a shade of reddish brown.... It's used for more like what yorubas call agbo and not zobo making. So OP I doubt if it's hibiscus.
