A Nigerian lady has uploaded a pathetic video of a stranded Nigerian lady she encountered in an unnamed European city.

The stranded lady, who looks unkempt, claimed she arrived in the foreign country with a dream of making something of her life but was unable to secure accommodation in the camp where illegal immigrants seeking asylum were kept because it was filled to capacity.

Efforts to get an alternative place to stay while processing her asylum failed and she spent months squatting until she started living like a homeless person.

She claimed she lost her travel documents in the process and has since been sleeping outside, begging for money to eat.

She claimed she had no relatives or friends and had been all alone trying to fend for herself and sleeping in open spaces for more than a year.

The stranded lady who claimed to be from Calabar in Cross River said the best she had got from Nigerians who encountered her was being videoed by them and nothing came out of it.

She begged for any help to be brought back to Nigeria because she was tired of sleeping outside.
When asked if she had tried the police, she said she had been to the police and Caritas Refugee Services, but she did not get any help.

Crying the woman said, “I dey suffer for outside for here. People just dey video me like this. Make dem give me place to stay, dem no give me place to stay. Na one year and two months I don dey outside like this.”

Her compatriot interviewing her said: “People think say you dey craze, that you nor well.”

The stranded woman responded: “I dey okay. But if person dey outside for close to two years, how e go take normal. A woman for that matter. I go piss, I go bathe, wetin? Abeg, make una do something. I don tire. Make dem deport me back to my country. I don tire. A beg."

The person who interviewed her called on Nigerians at home to circulate the video for the authorities to come to her aid. However, she failed to provide critical information that could help to track the stranded Nigerian lady.

The sugar daddy incurred the wrath of netizens by adding a soundtrack of the popular gospel singer, Nathaniel Bassey to his clip and wrote: “Na me God do this kind blessing for”.

Many people saw the irony in the sugar daddy thanking God for His blessing upon his life, while he is at the same time committing the sin of fornication with the same blessing.

One of the two ladies has a glass of wine in one hand, while she fondles the sensitive parts of the man with the other. Her mate, who is handling other parts of the man, appears to have a ring on her wedding finger, suggesting she may be married.

MSN INVESTIGATION: Division in Nigeria Customs Service as a batch of officers decry marginalisation

A batch of the officers of the Nigeria Customs Service have reached out to President Bola Tinubu and the new Comptroller General of Nigeria Customs Services to save them from stagnancy and marginalization.

The customs officers employed between 1989 and 1994, in a document sighted by MicroSecondNews, complained about ‘discriminatory promotional exercise’ in the service.

According to them, those who joined NCS between 1989 and 1994 have been continuously bypassed for promotion, while other batches have enjoyed accelerated promotions.

The document prepared by a lawyer the officers retained to fight their cause reads in part: “We humbly request to consider redressing the injustice meted out to older officers’ sequel to directives communicated vide the letter NCSB/ABJ/AP&/94/S.I/VOLV/19 dated 29 March 2022. This is connected with the implemented discriminatory special promotions given with backdated notional effects to newer officers recruited as graduates starting from 2009. These special promotions were reportedly approved by the Nigeria Customs Service Board (NCSB) consequent to Management’s presentation of the recommendations of its Generation Gap Committee.”

The officer further alleged that the management of the NCS recently announced its Board’s approval of a proposal to institute yet another special promotion scheme designated as a competency-based accelerated career progression plan (CBACP).

The management, they said, claimed that this scheme was necessary to “close the Generation Gap that could lead to a vacuum in the NCS higher hierarchies if not addressed.”

The aggrieved officers said the customs service is now faced with “the problem of coping with the passive resistance to teamwork created by a class conflict between the segregated customs officers and the favoured customs officers.”

The officers appealed to the authorities to quickly review the situation before it degenerated even further.

The aggrieved officers asked for immediate upgrade or they are “laterally converted into the officer corps based on the competency-based accelerated career progression plan (CBACP)”.

They insisted that the existing policies of the service are “discriminatory, extra-legal and repugnant to equity, good order and natural justice.”

They added, “For a regimented service like the NCS sudden loss of seniority by an entire generation of older officers to their juniors is absurd.”

The public relations officer of the NCS is yet to respond to our inquiries at the time of filing this report.

Downtrodden street-hawker flaunts incredible transformation, new house after meeting destiny helper (Video)

A downtrodden phone charger seller has showcased a magical transformation of his life after meeting a destiny helper while he was hawking in traffic in Ibadan, Oyo State.

The man, who identified himself as Muyideen, moved from being a scraggy, dirty-looking hawker of phone charger in traffic with no penny to his name to the owner of a modest bungalow in a space of a few years.

Muyideen was addicted to local gin called ‘ogogoro’ and cigarettes when he met his helper, Bamigboye Gideon, who appears to be a pastor of a church.

In the video of their first meeting on Tiktok, Muyideen said he had nothing, no wife, no children, but that his brain was working ‘100 per cent’.

Commenting on the situation he found himself in, he said he would not steal, but would continue to hustle to survive.

When Gideon asked him to come over to his church, Muyideen said that would be difficult because he could not do without 'ogogogo' and cigarettes and he would not like the people in the church to be judging him after perceiving the smell of alcohol on him.

Bamgboye told him that that was a simple problem: he should simply not take alcohol before coming.

When he was offered money, he collected it, but stressed that it was not a commitment that he would come to the church.

Upon much prodding, he agreed to collect Gideon’s number and apparently showed up on the appointed date.

His transformation began and he is now almost unrecognizable.

Bolt riders in Lagos complain about high, unpredictable fares
Accuse drivers of sharp practices

Some users of the e-hailing service, Bolt have complained about the unpredictability of the service’s fares in Lagos since the removal of oil subsidy by the Federal Government.


Recall that President Bola Tinubu announced the withdrawal of oil subsidy during his inaugural speech, leading to over 200 percent hike in the pump price of petrol across the nation.

The ride-hailing companies including Bolt responded by increasing fares by between 25 and 30 percent to make the business worth the while for the drivers.

However, many Bolt customers spoken to by Microsecondnews are more worried about the unpredictability of the fares on the Bolt app now more than its upward adjustment.

One of them, Adesola David told Microsecondnews: “My biggest concern is that you can no longer safely predict how much you will end up paying for any trip, with or without traffic. That is really horrible for someone like me,” he said.


“Before now, when the app gave you an estimate of your fare, you could never pay above the upper limit except there was a serious traffic. Most of the times I paid the lower limit or something close to it. Never for once did I pay above the upper limit. But now, whatever the app tells you has no practical value, because you can actually end up paying up to N2000 over the upper limit of the estimates.”

He cited an example of taking a Bolt ride from the Mobolaji Johnson Train Terminal in Yaba to FESTAC a few days ago. He said before the fuel subsidy removal, he would typically pay between N2,500 and 3,500.

“The app gave me fare band of between N4,000 and N6000. I thought it was high, but I reasoned it was because of the subsidy removal thing. I hopped in and we drove to FESTAC. No single traffic anywhere. When I asked the driver for my fare, he told me N8000! I almost quarreled with him, but he showed me on his phone. I was not satisfied, I checked my own phone, it was displaying the same amount.”

David argued that the situation was not funny because it would have been embarrassing if he did not have additional money to add.

For another rider, Anthony Ajomata, the final fare two more than twice the upper limit he was shown at the start of the trip.

He said: “I booked a ride at around 4am 30/06/2023 from Lekki gardens to 1 Isaac Johnson Street, Ikeja (IOM) and the rate I saw on the app was 8600 to 10200. On arrival, the final rate ended up at N25,900. A trip that was barely an hour and no traffic.”

Ajomata has escalated the matter to Bolt because he was convinced something sinister must have happened. Bolt has promised to review the trip if he could send his complaint through the app.

Yet another user of the service, Dimeji Alo, said he parted with N3000 more than the upper limit he was shown when he took a trip from the island to the mainland in Lagos recently.

A lady, with the Twitter handle @nobodycanbe_me also reach out to Bolt with a similar concern.

She wrote: “I think it’s time I address this issue in public, because I don’t understand the nonsense reply I’m getting. @Boltapp_ng @boltapp Kindly explain to me how a fare that was initially priced at 3,100 got to 6,000. Mind you, this is a 10mins journey without traffic.”

Bolt responded by saying that they use dynamic pricing, meaning that the price depends on several variables, among them the current demand.


“If demand is high, the price may be higher. The price may also depend on the route taken. For a specific breakdown of the price, please reach out to our in-app support” Bolt said in their response.

However, many of the users spoken to believe there is more to it than that.

Adesola David believes that the drivers have found a way to tamper with the rates following the extreme difficulties they now face to make ends meet after the subsidy removal.

“I honestly believe there is something they (drivers) are doing that we don’t yet know. Estimates in other jurisdictions are fairly reliable and guide you to take a decision to ride or not based on the funds available to you at that point in time. When they overshoot, it’s just by fractions,” said Adesola who is actually based outside Nigeria, but was in Nigeria for the burial of an elderly relative.

Some other Bolt users have also complained about some unwholesome practices by some drivers, such as starting a trip before they actually pick up the passenger, or indicating they have arrived at pick up zone when they have not so that they can make some extra money on waiting time.

A Bolt user, @Smasher_Lee1 recently took to twitter to expose one of such Bolt driver. She said the driver claimed to have arrived, yet he was nowhere in sight.

“The driver said he had arrived knowing fully well, that he was nowhere close to where I was….The guy kept me waiting for 24 mins, telling me there was traffic in airport road and I could see him stationary for Over 15 mins, meanwhile I used google maps to see if there was any traffic, There was none…Eventually, after exceeding the free wait time, and the app started counting down minutes for me, this guy pulled up,” the Bolt rider complained.

“Some drivers also pointedly ask you to add something to the stated fare, or tell you they would like to take the trip off the app, in which case you negotiate directly with the driver how much you would like to pay for his service,’ said another Bolt user who spoke to our correspondent.

Bolt in response to similar complaints on its social media handles, urge users to report such practices so they could take action.

Any driver reported as indulging in those acts are usually blocked from the app.

A massage sent to Bolt for an official reaction to the unpredictability of Bolt’s fares has not been responded to at the time of writing this report.

There needs to be stronger regulation of medical practice in Nigeria. There should be a place these aggrieved family and friends of the deceased can go for redress that wont cost them additional money, where the issues will be thoroughly probed and culprit(s) punished accordingly. The new govt should look in this direction. We cannot continue to waste lives needlessly like this. This was somebody's husband, father, son, uncle etc. They are now in grief. Sad.

Family accuses Abuja hospital of negligence in death of asthma patient

The family and friends of a deceased biker, Abdulhafiz Abdulaziz, 50, has accused Mayfield Specialist Hospital in Abuja of negligence in his untimely death.

Abdulaziz reportedly was involved in an accident while commuting on his bike on Sunday, July 2, 2023. Another bike reportedly rammed into him and he sustained a broken wrist.

He was reportedly rushed to the hospital, where the sum of N200,000 was reportedly demanded before they could attend to him. The money was hurriedly paid, according to the family members.

Abdulhafiz reportedly was talking and providing necessary information to hospital staff until he suddenly had an asthmatic attack while at the hospital.

Unfortunately, when they searched him, the inhaler on him had finished.

The family members of the deceased claimed that the hospital was unable to provide another inhaler or oxygen to enable him come out of the crisis.

They alleged that the deceased died as a result of this negligence and not because of the minor injury he sustained in the bike accident that took him to the hospital.

They further alleged that the hospital is still claiming that it was being owed N1000 despite collecting N200,000 as a deposit and not rendering meaningful assistance to the deceased.

Efforts to get the official reaction of the hospital proved abortive as a message sent to them on their official channel has not been responded to as of the time of filing this report.

Masked men open fire on man strolling with wife, kids in Canada (Watch)


Quick thinking and quick-footedness saved a man who was attacked by gunmen as he took a leisurely walk with his wife and little kids in Edmonton, Canada on Saturday.


The incident happened in the evening in the Ormsby Place neighborhood, leading to multiple individuals frantically dialing the emergency services’ number.

Nearby CCTV camera captured the man pushing a baby pram, with his wife pushing another on the pavement when a red Nissan Rogue approached them from behind.

Two masked individuals emerged from the SUV, with guns drawn. The man looked back in the nick of time and fled, stumbling as he did so.

The assailants began pursuing the man, firing shots at him as they chased him through the green space between Ormsby Crescent and Ormsby Road East.


Eventually, the assailants returned to their vehicle and fled the scene. No one was hurt in the incident.


Acting Insp. Eric Stewart from the Edmonton Police Service’s Organized Crime Branch expressed his concern during a news conference, highlighting the extreme recklessness of the act.

He stated, “What I do want to convey was how absolutely irresponsible this act was, electing to shoot up a neighborhood filled with families in broad daylight. We could easily be talking about life-threatening injuries or homicides here today.”

The police believe the incident was targeted. However, they are currently facing challenges in obtaining cooperation from the victim.

While authorities have ruled out gang involvement. They are urging the public to come forward with any information that could help solve the case, including eyewitness accounts or additional video footage from the area.

The police emphasized that there have been no reports of property damage resulting from the shooting thus far. However, they are requesting residents to carefully inspect their homes, particularly the rear portions facing the Ormsby green space, for any signs of damage, which may sometimes be difficult to detect.

In a notable development, investigators have linked one of the firearms used in Saturday’s incident to a previous shooting earlier this year, which fortunately did not cause any injuries. Acting Insp. Stewart refrained from disclosing further details regarding the previous incident.

This shooting follows a concerning trend of brazen acts of violence in Edmonton. Stewart expressed his dismay, stating, “We’re seeing more of these types of reckless, careless type shooting events. They’re happening more in broad daylight hours, in residential areas where there’s families, potential for kids to be playing. There used to be a bit of a respect level amongst these groups, but clearly by this and what we’ve seen historically in some other events, it seems to be gone out the window.”

A trending video has shown the moment a man plugged his pubic region to the backside of Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus at an event.

In the video, Eniola Badmus is filmed arriving at the event by a fan who unwittingly catches the very moment the man walking behind the actress walks too close to her, thereby plugging his pubic area to the derriere of the actress.

He appears to be one of the men serving food at the event as he had a tray lifted high with his two hands. The popular actress felt it and instantly turned around to give the harasser a stern look of disapproval.

A bouncer who is nearby stretches out his hand to stop the man from proceeding.

The video was uploaded on social media and has since gone viral, attracting mixed reactions. Most of the reactions were in favour of the actress.

Police spokesman asks for information on video of lady dancing seductively with little boy (Video)

The spokesperson of the Nigeria Police, Muyiwa Adejobi has asked for more information on a video of a lady vigorously twerking on a little boy in a swimming pool.

Faithful Black Men Association’s verified Twitter handle posted the video with this message: “This behavior won’t stop until we start sending these type of women to jail. Not even being funny she needs be charged with something.”


In the video, the little boy has his groin plugged to the backside of the young lady who keeps twerking in the pool as the boy laps it all up.

At some point, the boy holds on to the braids of the lady in a manner a horse rider would grab the reins of the horse as he continues to grind against the lady.

The clip received wide condemnation from netizens who believed the little boy was being sexualised by the young woman.

Adejobi saw it and responded: “Is this Nigeria? Is the “man” or “boy” a dwarf or grown-up guy? I need more info on this pls. Thanks.”

A popular Texas Rapper, Milton Powell popularly known as Big Pokey, has died in front of thousands of his fans at the age of 48.

The American rapper was performing at a show in Beaumont, Texas, on Saturday when he suddenly slumped backwards, according to DailyMail.

Pokey’s manager shared a statement on behalf of the family, saying that they are waiting for autopsy results.

A trending video has shown the sad moment the body of a Ghanaian man was evacuated from his apartment after he was beaten to death by his own biological son in the United States of America.

The incident happened in Queens, New York. The victim was identified simply as Mr Noah.

The footage showed medical examiners packaging the corpse and putting it on a trolley for onward transportation to the morgue.

The video was said to have been recorded inadvertently by the footballer when the model, Najila Trindade visited him in his hotel room in 2019.

The Paris Saint Germain striker apparently had his laptop open and recording when the encounter between him and the model took place in the hotel room in Paris.

He reportedly was not aware the footage was on the computer until much later when he stumbled on it.

The former Brazil captain maintained at the time that he did not rape the model and that what transpired between them in the Paris hotel room was consensual.
