I think this is the first time seeing the Omonoba reacting to this kinda political shenanigan.

It is so good our traditional leaders, showing their unacceptance to issues like this.

This got me thinking!
What could they possibly be doing that's helping them 'live large' without involving in the 'hustling' some southerners undergo to make money?
Most of them aren't really interested in life outside their territories where they won't have their cultural values exhibited and protected.

Northerners are conservative.

Many of them outside Nigeria are there to spend the money or acquire knowledge and come back to their ancestral territory.

“the DSS agent kept asking the distributor, ‘are you the author?’ to which the distributor responded in the negative. At which point, the distributor was detained and taken to an office with four or five other people in it.
“After some minutes, the distributor, who heard the DSS agent discussing his fate in an adjoining room, began moving to the door, which had been left ajar, and then bolted and took to his heels.”
He bolted from DSS custody and no one chased him?
This is unlikely to happen with Nigerian police, let alone DSS!

Reno Omokri!

Stop making fool of yourself.

The story you cooked, about you being tried to be arrested doesn't sound reasonable and logical to the hearing.

I understand you were pulling this stunt and strategy to attract publicity to the book you just authored.

But Ativie, who represents Uhunmwonde Constituency and the only female member of the House, claimed the vehicles, comprising a 2016 Lexus jeep, one Prado jeep and two Hilux vans, were officially given to her for personal use by Oshiomhole.
All these officially given for personal use?

Nigerian women, old and young, no sabi return anything. Money, love and material.

imagine, the men have not been told holding on to the cars, but the only woman has held on to the car.

The lady's dressing was seductive to the dog. The dog seems to be moved and having erect¡on with the way it is standing.

That standing is typical of a dog ready to mate with a b¡tch.

Nigeria's govt institutions are their national cake where they must occupy and perpetuate corruption
You don't know what you are saying!

Who told you that northerners are not many outside the shores of Nigeria?
You must be one of the people being fed junkz about the northerners.

Many northerners living outside the country are living large and not undergoing the kinda hustling some southerners are undergoing to make ends meet.

Even the dog could attest to the seductive outfit of its owner

The dog must have been exposed to blue film and wanna see what it watches on screen in real life.

The dog didn't do it outta ignorance, it was intentional.

Igboist?

Omo shut up.

Afam is a tribalist. Why seun made him a mod is still beyond me.
Seun actually made him a mod then to defend the interest of the Igbos.

OAM4J and Jarus were the politics section moderators then and both yoruba.
When tribalism started then, the Ndigbo on the forum were crying foul of being unfairly treated by the mods, cos both are of Yoruba origin. Hence, Seun had to bring on Afam, an igbo man and a very long consistent poster since 2005.
Later, Ikenna123, an Igbo by tribe, was also brought on board to deal with tribalistic posters.

That is a manual rewinder we did use in rewinding the video cassette way back in the late 90s. After we stopped using plastic spoon to rewind and before the automatic reminder.

But if you were not careful using it then, it would spoil the cassette.

aod1:
His distributor who confirmed the development to Vanguard through electronic mail said the US based Nigerian publisher had sent a consignment of the book, Facts Versus Fiction, to Nigeria to meet sales but when he who bears a striking resemblance with Omokri got to the airport to pick the cargo, he was accosted by a customs agent who began interrogating him until a DSS agent came up to him and took over the interrogation. According to him, “the DSS agent kept asking, ‘are you the author?’ to which he responded in the negative. At which point, he was detained and taken to an office with four or five other people in it.” He added that, “After some minutes, he heard the DSS agent discussing his fate in an adjoining room, so he began moving to the door, which had been left ajar, and then bolted” and took to his heels. Also, in an electronic voice mail sent to Vanguard, the distributor said he was repeatedly asked “Are you the author?” “Where is the author?” and “where is your passport?” among several questions to which he told them he was not the author and neither was he travelling abroad. He said he also told the operatives that the author was not in the country.
This story is more of a comic relief than lie!

So DSS no sabi Reno Omokri abi?

DSS opened door dey talk for one corner. The "Reno Omokri" was eavesdropping and later bolted. And the DSS didn't see him bolting?

Vanguard is so stupid to have published this as news.

You are talking to an alumnus that spent a decade in the citadel of learning. You understand what that means?

That thesis/project you saw was submitted in June 2017. Do you think one can submit the hard copies of one's project before the final exam and defence in OAU?
That means the lady graduated last session.

Moreover, you think this present finalist just writing the first semester exam would have finished chapter 4 of their project, let alone defending and submitting the hard copies?

Boy, don't argue vehemently with everyone you meet online.
Politics › Re: Seun, This Is How To Fight Tribalism On Nairaland by Tolexander: 7:43pm On Aug 17, 2017
Since the inception of Nairaland, tribalism has rained supreme and it became a fad from around 2008 till now and a lot of attempt have been made to actually exterminate the tribalist but all have proven abortive. We now know that banning them is just a waste of the time of moderators because these people have a lot time on their hands and will open a new account before you even say JACK ROBINSON.

The prosecutor, Inspector Isaac Yakubu, told the court that the defendant exhumed the corpse of his friend and severed the head, two legs and two hands for ritual purposes.

He said that the human head, two legs and two hands were recovered
Stupid man!

He probably doesn't want his friend's hands, head and legs to decompose.

I think it will be justifying to treat the man the same way he treated his friend's exhumed corpse.
My humble suggestion.
