sunnyshayne: Dear white man, kindly argue objectively. Support your stand with reasons. something you could have done to justify your claim, instead of the baseless post. Politically wrong, how? Will the party refuse to give them the form to contest cos it is against the rule of the party or wrong under the constitution of the nation? Morally wrong, why? It is a sin or not right? Let me give you the examples of US Presidents that ran for an elective post after leaving office; John Quincy Adams, the 6th President came back to seek an elective post to become a member of the lower house. became a member for 17years. Andrew Johnson, Abraham Lincoln successor and 17th President still went back to the senate after escaping conviction though impeached. John Tyler, 10th President, was a provisional member of the Confederate Congress and was eventually elected as a Confederate senate member. Back your claim up if it isn't an African Mentality |

But a former deputy governor in Benue state after leaving office contested and won councillorship position in his village. The man is late now. ramdris: They can but it morally wrong and stupid! How can one who av risen to the highest level in his country suddenly becomes a surbodinate again? Besides they must av made enough cash plus the juicy pension fund that will make dem forget politics forever. what makes a former President contesting an elective post morally and politically wrong and insane? Politics › PDP Members Ask Court To Halt Mu’azu’s Forced Resignation by Tolexander(op): 7:02pm On May 14, 2015 |
Two members of the Peoples Democratic Party, Tasiu Iliyasu Hussaini and Waziri Amadu, have filed a suit before the Federal Territory High Court in Abuja to stop alleged plots of forcing the National Chairman of the party, Alhaji Adamu Mu’azu, and other members of the party’s National working Committee, to resign. In their suit CV/1831/15, dated May 14, 2015, the plaintiffs want the court to restrain the party from dissolving the National Working Committee or forcing its members to resign their positions without following required procedure laid down by the party’s Constitution. “These calls for the dissolution and resignation are against the provisons of our constitution and our collective resolve as members of the 1st defendant (PDP),” a supporting affidavit deposed to by Hussaini read in part. The affidavit further read, “It is in the interest of all the parties to this action that the constitution of the 1st defendants obeyed to the letter. “It will be in the interest of justice to grant the reliefs sought in this suit and prevent any violation of the clear and unambiguous provisions of our constitution.” The defendants are the PDP and Mua’zu and other members of the NWC. The other NWC members include, Deputy ,National Chairman, Chief Uche Secondus; National Secretary, Prof. Wale Oladipo; Deupty National Secretary, Solomo Onwe; National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh; National Women Leader, Chief Kema Chikwe. Others are National Financial Secretary, Bolaji Anani, National Legal Adviser, Victor Kwom; National Organising Secretary, Abubakar Mustapha,National Youth Leader, Hussaini Maibasira; National Treasurer, Bala Buhari; and National Auditor, Adewale Adeyanju. In the supporting affidavit, the plaintiffs, said some leaders of the party were calling for the dissolution of the NWC of the party because of the defeat suffered in the last election. The affidavit added that the calls for their resignation was against the spirit of the constitution of the party and the collective resolve of party members “to reposition the party for success in future elections.” No date has been fixed for the hearing of the case. http://www.punchng.com/news/pdp-members-ask-court-to-halt-muazus-forced-resignation/ |

interesting! There is no law backing mama peace to hold the emergency meeting of the AFLPM as the incumbent President. Aisha Buhari can inherit the leadership as Dame Patience Jonathan also inherited it from her predecessor. I don't see PEJ obeying the Court Injunction if it does not favor her. She feels the organization is her property because Dame, her name is in the French translation of the organization's emblem. https://www.africaflpm.org/themes/bartik/images/africa_map.png |

Politics › IG Orders Crackdown On Kidnapping, Others In Edo by Tolexander(op): 2:55pm On May 13, 2015 |
The Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Solomon Arase, has dispatched a special crack squad to Edo to tackle the spate of cultism, kidnapping, robbery and other related crimes in the state.
Notice of the dispatch was contained in a statement issued by the Force Public Relations Officer, Mr. Emmanuel Ojukwu, on Wednesday.
The statement quoted Ojukwu as expressing the concern of the IG about the unabated activities of cultists and other violent criminals in the state.
He said the squad would be headed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad.
He added that the squad would comprise units from the Police Mobile Force, Explosives Ordinance Department, State Anti-Robbery Section, and Criminal Intelligence and Investigation Department.
Ojukwu also quoted Arase as charging members of the squad to employ professionalism, discipline and courage in carrying out the assignment.
He added that the deployment of the team was in line with the IG’s thrust and commitment to ensure the protection of life and property, and build a people-oriented police force.
Ojukwu advised the public to continue to collaborate with the police and report any suspicious person to the nearest police station for prompt action. http://www.punchng.com/news/ig-orders-crackdown-on-kidnapping-others-in-edo/ |

Arysexy: My friend, PDP penciled Hon Mulikat Akande from Oyo for d speakership position, tifnubuu in an attempt to undermine pdp SW politicians, struck a deal with northern pdp politicians to give it to Tambuwal at d detriment of his SW sister. People like Hon femi gbajamila were the arrow heads used to stop Hon mulikat. Today, tifnubuu wants to foist Same gbajamila on d house. Nemesis awaits him what you've just posted doesn't really play along with logic. How possible is it for Tinubu to come on to influence the ruling oppossing party's decision if not that PDP members were already settled for the Tambuwa being the speaker? The same Tinubu who was accused of getting the South West for Jonathan singlehandedly against his party candidate. I know that none of you guys will talk about that. |

It is time to give SW d sour grape to taste too. No matter the collateral damage, they must smell d coffee.
They will see sophisticated treachery pay back in a great measure. Even if it means north having everything. They were crying of no position in GEJ cabinet after tifnubuu sold the speakership to d north.
Please, no preaching. How many ACN members were in the lower house? What was the outcome of the election to appoint the Speaker of the house? Tinubu also Influence the decision of the PDP members that voted for Tambuwal? |
