He said it was not good for the government that has good intention to expose those who wish to be Good Samaritans and patriotic through their actions.what is El Rufai saying again? Where were their Good Samaritanism and patriotism when they were looting the nation's treasury? Now that they envisaged trouble looming if the loot is still with them, they decided returning the loot, what is patriotic and good Samaritan in that action? So the government is trying to shield the identity of criminals that helped them to rescue the power from the ruling party! People like Tinubu, Obasanjo et al in this nation. There is still something no one has added since I've been reading the threads on Gen Sani Abacha, the country recorded the best results in football and Olympic that no Presidential administration has ever caught up with . Though the situation of things was harsh and money wasn't really in circulation, the economy was relatively stable and fuel scarcity was 'still' common. Almost everyone turned to farmer. There were some foods we were eating that time that have gone to oblivion, Gbere(iyan federal), egbo, feregede etc. We celebrated the death of the maximum dictator like celebrating the birth of a Savior. Good bye, good riddance! |
