For July applicants, I sent webforms and email last night and my profile has been updated.

Upfront medical July 4
Applied July 8
Biometrics July 13, Updated July 13
Sent webform(new and old), email to Nairobi and London early hours of today around 3-4am asking to update biometrics and medicals and uploaded medical result from IOM.
Biometrics and medicals passed August 4

Waiting for BVL and PPR with faith.

I have seen plenty applications where PPR was obtained within a month.

So it can happen and it WILL happen.

I haven't seen o. July 8 applicant here. Has your biometrics message been updated? I did mine on the 13th but its only showing this date at the top with the "We need your biometrics message..."

This is my second application. I submitted on the 7th of July. My biometrics is already uploaded but my medical hasn't been updated.

Hello everyone, I am here again.

Please I need your help. On IMM 1294 form, where it says cost of my studies,

1, do I need to sum up 1 year or 2 years for tuition and upkeep?
2, for the available funds, do I need to add up all I have paid in terms of tuition and available funds for my one year up keep and the available funds from my sponsors account all together?
3, let’s say my sponsor has 20M in his account after one year tuition has been paid, upkeep for one year has been set aside, does my sponsor need to quote his total balance of 20M or just put in the IMM form that amount that would be sufficient to take care of my tuition and upkeep for 2 years?

I hope I am making sense.

I need to submit today. This is my second application. Pls help me out. Thank you.

Pay 1 Year tuition, then attach mutual funds letter. Explain how you liquidated the mutual funds in your SOP/LOE.
I stand to be corrected but I believe when you liquidate mutual funds, there should be a letter from them stating that either via email or other channels. You can add that to your application.
Date mutual funds was liquidated. Date it was deposited in the savings account. You can circle that part in the statement of your account, explain more about it.

I have paid Year 1 tuition. Thanks for the advice.

First, request for your GCMS notes, it will help you properly address the issue. Secondly, how much is your tuition for the two year program, how much is your living expense too? Do you have kids? All these may be factors considered by the VO who might have felt that you were not financially capable. Don't rush to reapply, check your finances properly.

Thank you for your response. I have already ordered for my gcms notes. I am expecting it this week. Tuition for 2 years is around 29k CAD. I have paid 15.5k for the first year. I also have 12k CAD for upkeep for a year and a balance of 17million Naira in my sponsors(hubby) account.

I am going alone. I have 2 kids.

How do you think I can explain the movement of money from account in Bank A to Bank B without it seeming like bulk fund. Note that the funds are ours. It’s been in operation for years and no strange bulk amount is in it.

For someone who have been denied a US student visa. What impact will this have on Canada study visa. I am about to start Canada process

When they ask if you have been denied a visa before , say yes and explain yourself about the US study visa denial. That’s all. I don’t think it should have any impact. They just want you to be truthful. Remember that these countries do info-sharing with each other so if you lie, you are shooting yourself in the foot.

Good evening everyone.
So I applied on the 26th of January and I was served breakfast on the 6th of June due to personal assets and financial status.

I have returned after taking a breather.
Here are my concerns and how I need advice to tackle them.

1, My sponsor(hubby) had a huge amount saved consistently over a period of over a year just for the purpose of my Canadian study dreams. The money was in a Mutual Benefit account.

2, We had about 4M in both of our savings account when we submitted the application in January

3, We had already paid for my first semester tuition of 8k CAD

I feel that the reason that I might have been denied was because the VO might have felt that the money in the Mutual Benefit account wouldn’t be easily accessible and that the 4M in our accounts would not be sufficient for my time in Canada. (My program is for 2 years).

Before my refusal came, I had ordered for my GCMS notes and they came is spanking clean.

Eligibility - check
Info sharing- check
Criminality- check

Everything can in clean and I thought I had my visa in the bag but lo and behold, I was served.

So I was advised to move the money into a regular savings account and I have done that.

MY QUESTION NOW IS: how do I prove that the money isn’t bulk money? That hubby moved it from one bank to another. How do I convince the VO without a doubt that the money is ours and not for demonstration purposes.

I really need help. I intend to reapply this week. Help your sister out. Thank you.

NB: kindly itemize says I can achieve this or explain myself to the VO .

The standard processing time according to their site is 12 weeks. After that you can start with sending emails to IRCC Nairobi, then proceed to raise a web form and then contact an MP in the jurisdiction of your school to make inquiries finally order your gcm notes.
But you must wait after 12 weeks
