Good day everyone,
Pls I need suggestions with colleges with low tuition fee, i can apply to in Canada. Please help a sister. Thanks
Try Selkirk College in British Columbia. I am heading there in later in the month by His Grace. It’s one of the cheap schools in Canada.

Your eligibility still reads what?

Your school resumption is what date?

@tolupe
Brethren, on my portal, it is not showing that eligibility has started. School resumes May 2nd and I am just twiddling my fingers and toes here. Lots need to be done. I just need this approval decision asap.

I asked earlier, I was told that eligibility is probably going on underground and PPR could be sprung on me at any time. The mental turmoil is unbelievable!

But I am hoping for the best and I will testify soon. I am booking my space here.

I applied to the school... Been given admission since last year
Wow! MSVU? Why is my case different? I still sent the school an email directly like 2 weeks ago and they didn’t say anything concrete. I am told to continue to check my application portal. But nothing is showing there except my uploaded documents.

Please look into other schools. Probably you are on their waitlist.
I see. Plausible! I have admission somewhere else but I just need closure on this application. Like I need to know what is going on. Am I in or out!

Almost a year? Pls look into other schools. That's awful, why delay ordinary school admission that long?
I sent them an email like 2 weeks ago. Apparently they still haven’t made any admission decisions. Like I just want to know my fate. Am I in or out! Since June/July! Positively deplorable I must say!

As anyone applied to Mount Saint Vincent University? I applied since July 2021 via their Nigerian rep but I have not heard anything from them. Is this the norm with the school cos it is unbelievable!

Hello. So sorry I am getting back to you late.

The process is pretty straightforward. Apply through Apply Board and that’s about it. The school would contact you with the requirements. They get back to you with your conditional LOA within 2 weeks if you submit the right documents.

I wish you best of God’s favour, amen.

Hi Tolu,

1, I am married with 2 young kids but I applied alone. How soon after I land can I apply for my kids? - What plans do you have for the kids when you travel? You have to state that in your SOP, since their dad is not in the country you need to get strong reason for leaving them in Nigeria while you travel- Best bet is to get your SP and thereafter apply for visiting visas for them.

2, What visa type should I apply for? Visitors visa or open study permit? Kids are currently 5 and 7 years old.
- You are to apply for Study permit, since the kids aren't travelling now, no need to add them to your application( But later on you can apply for visiting visas for them)

3, How easy or fast is it to convert the kids visitors visa to study permit in Canada? - With visiting visas kids are allowed to study.

4, Husband doesn’t work in Nigeria. - Get your study permit first, then let your hubby apply for visiting visa that will allow him come and go for the duration of the visa.
Thanks for your response.

1, my mother and a trusted nanny would be on ground to take care of them while I and hubby are away.

All other suggestions are duly noted.

Any update on your application?
Did you do upfront medicals?
Yes I did upfront medicals on the 12th of January and it passed on the 8th of February, biometrics done on the 1st of February. I am refraining from checking my portal till the end of this month. Mental health is key as I have come to find out.

4, Husband doesn’t work in Nigeria. He needs to stay in the country he is working in to make money for I and the kids on moving to Canada. Question is, which visa type should we process for him cos he will be coming and going. SOWP can not work in this instance.

I will appreciate all the response I can get. Thank you all.

Is airforce recruiting? Or i shld just enter a plane and head towards south sudan cos i want to be appreciated?
Moreover, who would type rate them on d plane d airforce uses( DC 10)?
Una all tink say to fly a plane is as simple as driving a car, IT ISNT !
Jobs/VacanciesRe: Unemployment Hits Nigerian Pilots, 170 Jobless by tolupe1: 2:53pm On Aug 08, 2013
As am writing this post, have got two(2) unemployed pilots gisting in my house rite now.one finished his training 2yrs ago and anoda last yr.
Its not about them just been 170,i can tell you for a fact that they are more than that, way more than that!. I have worked in d aviation industry for 4yrs and i know what am talking abt.
Wen sombody spends upwards 8M and above on a training and comes back home, and after 2years stil no Job,you wld know its a cause for concern.
And mind u all,a large percentage of these pilots are graduates frm tertiary institutions in naija before they decided to go to flight school. Wld u equate som1 wit a Msc frm Havard wit som1 one wit a cert frm naija in d same bracket in d labour market? If u r d employer, who wld u take?
Being a pilot is a SKILLED and PRACTICAL based profession that entails ur LIFE(wich cant b bought or duplicated by d way).
GamingRe: Flight Simulator Fans by tolupe1: 6:20pm On Aug 02, 2013
Wld try.. He seems to want to be under d radar but dont worry,i wld bring him out of his holding pattern and line him up on flight simulator "runway"
