GoodofNaija: Thanks for your response. Let me also ask:
1. For your first application, apart from reference letter and account statement from your bank, did you also get reference letter and account statement for the mutual fund?
2. Was it your sponsor's mutual fund or your own?
3. For your 2nd application, you said you paid 1st and 2nd semester tuition. Are you going for a 1 year program? 1, First application, I only submitted bank statement for the regular bank account and for the mutual funds account. I only submitted reference letter for the pensions account. But in my second application, I request for a reference letter from the mutual account. 2, my spouse account 3, No, a 2-year program. |

GoodofNaija: Congratulations!
Pls I have a few questions for you. I used FBNQuest Investment certificate & First bank fixed deposit certificate in my application.
1. Did you explain in your first application that the money is readily available to you within a particular request time?
2. Did you request for a reference letter from the mutual fund office which should address the VO directly stating the conditions of the mutual fund and statement of mutual fund account showing the date of investment?
3. If you got a reference letter, did it include a personnel contact email which the VO may contact for quick inquiries? 1, that was the mistake I made in my first application. I didn’t state that the money was easily and readily accessible to me at any time I want to make a withdrawal. 2, Yes I did request for a reference letter from the bank stating that it’s my account, the balance and that I can access it at any time T 3, I don’t think the letter had a specific email like that aside from the one of the bank itself. It probably should be the email for the customer service of the bank with the mutual funds. I am ready for your questions |

samefiok: Lol Amen, how long does Canada visa process last and is NYSC Certificate compulsory for masters According to IRCC website, it takes 12 weeks to process. But there are instances where study permit is granted by the 4th week and upwards. Just pray that you are attended to o time. As per NYSC certificate, I am not too sure whether it is compulsory for your Masters application. |

Good morning everyone. It’s been a minute. I had to take a breather off NL. Anyways I am back. I would like to ask this question. So sorry if it has been asked before.
Last week, news came in that we can do drop off and pick up of our passports at the Canadian Consulate and no other form of drop off or pick up (DHL) would be attended to.
Questions are,
is that how it is now for study permit visa? Has anyone directly submitted to the embassy? What documents did you bring along with you?
Thank you for your responses.
July applicants, how market? Na God hand we all Dey o. We have our testimonies. Our help has come. We shall all rejoice before the end of this month, amen. What God can not do does not exist. |

Ketima: Hello kichi,
You may need to be specific. Living expenses (for 1year) alone will engulf around 3.2m and you're left with only 2.4m of which can only be possible you're to to 1 year PGD course at memorial university. Outside that and for a 2 year course, that will not be enough.
Then as per fixing it, I advise you leave it in your account. IRCC believes in the availability and accessibility of the fund. There is always that notion that money fixed isn't applicants money unless you present enough convincing documents for it and why it was fixed in the place I wished I knew this in my first application. I had paid for my first semester tuition of over 8k CAD and had 15M in a mutual fund account. I present all the document and I was refused after 5 months, applied late January and got rejected in early June. @kichi please leave the money in the regular bank account o |
