JUST SO YOU KNOW...

LAFARGE WAPCO delivered the best growth accross several KEY revenue and earnings line ahead of it's peers. (DANGOTE CEMENT and BUA CEMENT in that order)
...with CCC, AER, JPBM, CGPR, FCF, EM, NPM and NCP all printing appreciable and in some cases remarkable improvement.
Infact, the last 2 witnessed a whooping >6,404bps and near 64,501bps (>645.7%) growth YoY.

Within the sector, the coy also did better at optimizing cost and strengthening it's BS position in the yr under review. (ref: 2020-21)
Elsewhere, the coys (WAPCO') current EV/EBITDA stand rightly describes the best pick amongst fellow P2P sector players given their current market prices.

Yet the last 3 weeks has seen it drop by the highest margin (>23.85%... from circa N27+ to N21.8 @ present)
What better time to key in than now!

Using a mix of valuation model that adopts a highly CONSERVATIVE approach... assuming zero growth in Q1, 2022 and further attaches near 1.5x premium to surrounding risk, I have a FVE of N35.9
...which implies a >64.6% discount from CMP.
Rating now upgraded to: Overweight/Outperform.

BUY... ACCUMULATE!

CAVEAT: The need for due diligence should still take higher precedence ahead of this post.
Great recommendation!
Thanks. I expect it at a lower price though.

I forgive you already. ...I did say so in that post and honestly, I have.
I didn't take it to heart... I mean, who am I?

I try to live a grudge-free life so I can FOCUS on the more pivotal things.
Those who know me will most probably tell you of a guy who is blunt enough to say it there and then, but also quick to leave everything on the table and give peace a chance.

Without making reference to you, I like to say it as it is. I try to be forthright and lead with honesty and sincerity of purpose in my dealings with people... but I am NOT perfect.

By the way, those words of ecomiums though. wink cheesy
...reading through them, I feel like I don't deserve them.
Maybe you and other great minds here do!

Regards
What are you forgiving me about brother?
How long would it take me to convince you that you have not the only stock pick/finance expert posting articles here, that my post was generally directed to those Ogas as a joke? You are one of them, no doubt; but i wonder why you're still insisting that the joke was specifically directed at you? Members here can see this obvious scenario. Tens of real or imagined experts post what we at times regard as epistles here. Why should such a joke be directed at only you..........if you were not mentioned?
Please be a little bit flexible and take things easy. And please take me for my word. As you're a guru in your own area, so others. Let us learn to take little jokes and apologies with magnanimity. Once again, i apologise to all the finance experts/leaders in this forum. I always appreciate you people. Only an ingrate and a fool would not. How would this place have been without you? You may wish to recall a few days ago when i passionately appealed to Aunt Mercy to keep posting. Please, let all friends of Loko call him back. We need his contributions. Eventhough, I'm not a jijo follower, i always learn some things from him too. We shouldn't allow one or two persons to successfully execute Loko exit. We should make sure he is back.
However, someone should not be crucified because he jokes aboit some of the recommendations. No one is perfect. Lets loosen up a little here. We don't nees a high tension environment where someone is bound to be crucified for saying something. No one is bigger than life; though we have some very big men here who would bot even say anything. And to many people here, stock trading is just a little "pass-time". Not a do or die affair.
Please forgive me house. I jad to.make myself clear. I didn't single out OGG for jabs.
Once again, my sincere apology to whoever was slighted by my post. I have not really been posting here this days. I just couldn't help cracking the joke. It wasn't a big deal anyway. But if it was a joke gon e too far, AYAM VERY SORRY. E ma binu eyin Oga mi.

I have just seen OGG post and i felt so sad that he thought i mocked him. Who am i to mock OGG, one of our greatest financial expert here?
Those who has been here for long would remember years past when i also used to contribute to picks analysis, but that was then.
Why should i burder myself anymore when the forum is now blessed with high profile financial experts/economists, accountants and so on?
OGG is someone i really adore on this forum and i believe he knows.
As an intellectual, i worsip knowledge and intellect, because they constitute the light of our existence. I know the value of OGG and some others and i hold him in high esteem. (eventhough he doesn't respond to the questions of a back bencher like me) I will always respect the resources of this guy.

About my post. I was just making an "in the lighter mood" hilarious jab at our Ogas now. You would see that it was only an impromptu addiction to what some else also said. The guy was also speaking in the lighter mood.
It was a general reference. There are mwny Ogas here, how could the jab have singled out OGG?
Note that i also made a jab, (not jibe o) at the highly esteemed beedsheet. All these wer jokes.
Unfortunately, there are some old timers here (unfortunately old timers), who enjoy fanning the embers of discord and hatred.
B4 you could say hello, someone have made allusion to OGG, and apologising on behalf of himself! Then, i new trouble had started.
Old timers! You guys are disappointing me here. At any little excuse, you abuse and insult someone. We all should be Friends now. And you cant drive me away from here. No matter how you want to insult me any time i say anything. I'm not ashamed if not being a stock analyst. I've done that here before in the past. We now have a lot of experts here. God spares them for us and more grease to their elbows.
My dear OGG, never take posts so seriously. We adore you. BUT THAT IS NOT TO SAY WE CAN'T MAKE A COMICAL JAB AT YOU AT TIMES. Please, we can play.
For the haters, any of you who dare make any negative analysis or negative comments about this post shall forget to eat for a great part of the day and go hungry for a very long time without knowing. I love you all, whether you like it or not.

Market is trading sideways now, you will never see all these fake analysts coming out to quote their previous posts.

They have all muted their keyboards and are viewing the thread as guests. Even to render common account number help is now taking 2 days.

Let small bull surface, they will show up and start quoting posts of 1960 with epistles longer than chapters in the bible.

Funny enough, they have previous posts on ALL NGX stocks to quote about ALL the stocks in NGX (ALL NGX STOCKS ARE RECOMMEND IN THE APPROPRIATE WEATHER grin ).

las las, una go dey alright!

You really got it. It's like a church of 200,000 congregation where the pastor is saying someone would build a house this year!
When it is very clear you should buy gtco when it fell to 23.00, you won't hear Pim from anyone while they take positions quietly. But they will write epistles to convince you to buy a controversial stock grin
Car Talk / Re: Micra Taxis In Ibadan: Necessity Or Menace? by Toluway: 10:29am On Mar 26, 2022
Hello good people. I am a retired civil servant and I'm making arrangements to start a town service transportation in ibadan. I didn't call it taxi service because i don't want to use Micra. I'm planning to use use a bus of 10 passengers for the service.
My question is this- where are the routes plied by buses in ibadan? Is it only micra everywhere? Can i still use a bus to do city transportation service in ibadan or there is no place for buses anymore. Thanks.

No no no! No one ridiculed your thesis. Even Currentprice who is also a brilliant contributor on this forum, and also apparently gives you great respect only politely expressed his own position. We all hold you in a high esteem here. Many or some of us are always waiting to hear from you. That doesn't mean there won't be some people who don't like you for giving us open and clear advice without even speaking in tongues or proverbs. In this world, you will have some enimies.

Boss you too like this stock, I learnt many things from you many months ago when you made post on this stock as stock to buy for capital appreciation . I agree GSK have a very good balance sheet if not the best which I see as a subject of attraction for acquisition/merger in future but this clean balance sheet may not be enough to move the stock to your 15 or above destination for now until they started using the balance sheet to turn out more earnings or on the acquisition news

as at Q3 they have nothing as FCFE... meaning they will struggling to pay dividend at year end or pay from retained earnings as they did in the past.

I will keep monitor the stock to consider should the earnings improve base on the recent Omicron antibody approval for the company

I still prefer Fidson for now, though fidson have much debt but am not bother with their operating earnings with the growth rate wink

grin grin grin grin
Fidson has been going up and up for months. Hence i feel one might not want to enter it's train at the current price.
Unlike gsk that is currently at the bottom of a zigzag regime.

I just published an article with the title:

MTN NIGERIA: "THE ANATOMY OF A PUBLIC OFFER"

...Dissecting the recent PO (public offer) proposal by MTN Nigeria; everything from interpreting the Nos to looking in on the recent financials with a view to seeking VALUE

It's published on booksie, the U.K blog medium and the personal finance section of some select national dailies.

You may wish to read through by using the link below;

I used to think stock prices on NGX are determined by amount of bid and offer prices of each stock. That is to say forces of demand and supply so to say. But, pls elders here, who can explain why prices of a stock (sterling specifically), for the past 1 month, will open at 1.56 or 1.57 and like 2 mins to close of trading will move to 1.60 or 1.61. I ve been watching Sterling and Wema since like a month now. They both have same behaviour. I just assume and conclude now that a hand is just influencing the prices to allow people to move to the stock early in the day and prevent them from selling at close day. My observation.
I also observed a queer behaviour in caverton. The price will open at 1.81, traverse all maner of prices, and close at 1.81, everyday!
I tried to buy it at 1.81 without success for two weeks, until i decided to leave my bid open for a period of two weeks. The bid was probably filled during opening or closing period.
It was as if stock bid and purchase was another human being that was playing a chess game with me!

I like your comment. I'm rather shocked when someone would ask a harmless question or make a harmless comment here and get insulted.
Occasinally some facebook boys infiltrate this place with their abuses, which is not surprising.
What irks me is when some old timers, whom I've known for long and respect as a member of the same progressive family, insults and rather abuse you when you speak; as if only them and their godfathers should speak in this place.
People should learn from the pulished, matured and civilised behaviour of one yMcy56, which she demonstrates at all time. They should realise the fact that some people here only takes stocks trading as a pass-time and not a means of livelihood.
I advise those slogan chanters to stop their desperation. Success doesn't come by your might , power or trickery. Exercise patience and follow the market. Only God knows the support or resistance level; it is not yours to decide! It is not the price you bought that matters, but how far it is going yo travel.

Irrespective of what people say, NO ONE knows the lowest or the highest that a stock will be. So BUY and SELL at a price you feel comfortable with. It is your MONEY and you owe no one any explanation. Don't feel bad even if you buy at a higher prices PROVIDED you bought a GOOD company that is growing earnings, have good ROE and ROA and relatively good cashflow from operations.

Last year, Zenith was dropping from about N22.00. Some bought at N18.00 and few people laughed at them that Zenith will drop lower! They were right. Zenith did drop lower. It got to 16, 14, 11 and people still laughed at those that bought at those prices. They said they will wait till Zenith get to N5.00 before buying. They are still waiting!

Share prices go up and down everyday. If you are moved by the daily price movements, you will never invest.
Very mature, experienced and honest statement. No one knows the lowest or highest. So dont flog yourself if you but at 33 snd it drops to 31. It could as well rise to 38.
Some bad blokes simply love breaking the hearts of newbies for their selfish end. If you dont invest now, how do you know whether you would struggle to buy at 38, what you regused to buy at 33?

Once you have decided to buy a stock at a point in time, i dont think 29, 31, or 33 makes any difference to your investment goal. Keep calm brothers. Thank you Wanajo, one of our sincere legends!
