DeRuggedProf:The scenario of Onifa Prophecy was different and irrelevant. Sorry to say this, he is my mentor, but he cant be right all the time. His prophesy was inapplicable because there was no bear in sight when he advised exit from the market, as stocks still appreciated about 20% after his alarm bell. Even right now, i believe those who stayed put in the market has won,,,,, because, there are no much changes. May my readily armed attackers be a little tolerant of my amateur opinion, which is personal to me. 3 Likes |
If 30k is the maximum risk, why empty your entire risk basket at once? Why not start with say N15K , if go no go, you invest another 5K into the bottles of Guinness (not it's shares oooo), then think of how to use the Balance of 10K to recover your personality....
Well done bro. Kindly let the house know how it goes after you sign up.[/quote I diversified on abou 10 well researched stocks in Trove for a month, doing my research at Bloomberg and Google Finance. Costs $2 per trade, meaning the more you diversify, the more you pay. You also pay a service charge for funding your account. My conclusion is that trove is only an intermediary platform, lacking some facilities that would allow you to enjoy your gsme. I recommend that you look for a fully registered platform on which you can trade Nigerian stocks from Nigeria. That lead to my discovery of avatrade.com My humble contribution for now. 1 Like |

Hi Soldiers of Fortune. I must commend the initiative of Oakpearl for opening up this thread. It is a right step in the right direction. That he has attempted to espouse what some people have been benefiting is secrete in highly commendable. Dear friends, what is the essence of life without adventure? The only way to discover and advance is adventure. Nothing venture nothing gained. Knowledge, they say is power. This is yet another opportunity to gather and exchange ideas for our corporate benefits. God help those who help themselves. He will surely bless our efforts. God bless you all. I appreciate the opportunity to be part of you. Thank you. 2 Likes |

ukay2:I tried but couldn't find bid and offer in Trove. I dont see market overview that shows that. If im not mistaken, that's one of the limitations of trove. It is not a trading platform, it is just an intermediary. |

ScepterWorld:3 to 9 pm. I've been trading in Trove. Though I've closed my account recently because i want to trade with a certified broker with a platform. Trove is only helping you to trade, using a platform that it doesn't own. So, there are many informations that you cant get. To this end, i have discovered avatrade where i will soon open an account www.avatrade.ng/cfd-trading/stocks |

bigjay01:It also works on my Samsung galaxy, i do trade, but the platform is so shrouded, and complex. I don't find it convenient at all. Got to be clicking myriads of links to get things done. Reverse is the case with Meritrade, but their charges will render scalping unprofitable. |
Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Toluway: 2:31pm On Feb 07, 2020 |
bigjay01:Are you abusing me or what ? Meritrade does not suit my SCALPING strategy, because of high expenses. I would no longer have anything to do with Morgan, where i have to be searching and searching all the time, for anything i want to do. I use android phone. So, you see why I'm asking for help? 1 Like |

DeRuggedProf:Break it down Prof. It's not about me. I want prices of my favourite stocks to reduce, but they have stopped deprecating in prices. While some other stocks have been appreciating in prices. Cant you see ? ! The bear has been grossly exaggerated. I'm not afraid of expressing a different opinion. I'm not suggesting we should stop waiting, patience is king, but let start talking about stock picks. You can't claim not to know that a lot of blokes here have secretly started buying back into the market since Monday! I'm only suggesting please. |
Investment / Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Toluway: 10:15pm On Feb 05, 2020 |
While i haven't seen significant drop in stock prices since Monday this week, I've been seing some stocks consistently gaining 9%, 8%, 7%, 5% etc in capital appreciation. I begin to think that prices are no longer likely to fall, and enjoin the visionaries in this forum to start coming up with stocks pick. Thanks. |

Please, is anyone holding Transcorp shares in this forum ? I'm currently interested in the stock please. Could you kindly share your sentiment about this stock? To what extent could the present low oil price affect it's fortune? |

Mcy56:That there are some comedians on this forum is not news. With due respect ma, this man is only cracking jokes and I'm surprised that some of us are not only paying him some valuable attention, but also taking him seriously, despite the serious business of this forum. Ask him, and he would tell you it's all jokes. Please ignore his comedies any time you are not in the lighter mood and ready for jokes. Read all his posts, he has never looked rerious. That is my candid observation. 2 Likes 1 Share |

Toluway:My organisation is not the the one directly collecting the taxes, it only verifies what is paid and evidence of payment into the Federation Accounts. The organisations that are collecting are amongst others, Customs Service and FIRS whose collections and remittances we veryfy. Unilever is neither paying to the Customs Service nor FIRS. Are these organisations also bribed ? However, if you still believe that Unilever is paying, i have know reason to continue to argue on this forum. Thanks. |
