Aduke02: Which school are you headed to?

Congrats... PAT08 & ADUKE02

I will strongly need the step by step procedure to apply for TRV via the ONLINE Route. The thing is becoming more interesting. But note that my application documents will be like 20 documents/papers, because, I am sponsoring myself, plus an uncle as main sponsor. I am working and married with kids so I will be submitting more supporting documents (but my family would not accompany me)

My email address is bafidel@yahoo.com

Hello house, i was told that someone that is 36 yrs old will be difficult to be issued with canadian study permit as the canadians dont issue study permits to people more than 30 yrs old. how true is this,
waiting for your opinions.

thanks a lot for the good work...

Hello Oga Siga and Fhemmy.... How true can this be?

Kindly enlighten us on this.. at least for an applicant who will be going for a professional/Graduate Cert/Diploma program(1-2 years) after some years of graduation from Nigeria Institution (say 5-10yrs post graduation)

@tolyem, please i need you to help me with the way you sent your application to keyano college as i am preparing to send mine but do not know how to pay the $100 application fee. i will be very greatfullso we can discuss further.

thanks as i wait your email, or send me yours.

The application form is two pages plus one extra page for payment making 3 pages. Complete the page using the details of the card to be used (visa or mastercard) for my applications I uses GT mastercard but you can as well use Skye/Ecobank. Its faster.

@ALL
my reservation now is that my friend that just got is medical call-up is going to the school i.e Keyano College,in alberta and embassy did not ask him to pay tuition fees despite he only paid tuition deposit of $200 and the school tuition is very very low which makes anybody to have capacity to pay even if the school request for such but payment is strictly at the school on resumption.

The school only offers undergraduate programs which might be red-flag as I had earlier applied with Post Grad certificate course in Business Management last year at the embassy. Can I go for the Undergraduate Diploma this time or

can someone suggest any other colleges in alberta that offer such policies and possibly offers graduate cert/diploma programs (1 or 2 years programs).

I should have opt for the Mohawk college,Ontario but the cost of the program is too high (see their recent increase). I will be waiting for your ever good advise. I want to choose alberta schools so that I can be living with my friend who will have settled before my arrival.

Hello Mr Siga,

I really appreciate all your contributions on this forum just as alalade and others in CA had done in the past.

I applied for study permit in 2011 for Jan 2012 start date but got refused ( then I choose Canadore college for grad dip in business Management) I used my company account statement as sponsor based on the fact the company is sponsoring me as their Business Manager. ( I am married with two kids and all these I stated in my application with my own personal assets..tax card, vehicle, house, shares and bank statement of 200k plus but my MD refused to give me the company CAC docs claiming he couldn't find it. The only reason stated in my letter refusal was that the signatory did not satisfy them of the ownership of the account despite the bank reference letter stated this,though he didn't give me sponsorship affidavit too but all other letters were included. I tried to ask him to give me the CAC after the refusal but he still claimed he cant find it despite the large volume of transactions of the company (imports and exporting)

Now, I secured admission at Mohawk college for the same program (1 yr grad cert)but the cost is high and a friend that just got visa to keyano college, alberta advised me to apply to the school for quick admission, low tuition and tuition payment after getting visa. My challenge is that the school only offers undergraduate diploma programs (1 year too) (considering my previous visa application on the basis of grad cert program cum my HND,36 years of age and 10yrs working experience) do you think is good for me to apply for undergraduate program now?

I am sponsoring myself this time around but to be supported by a friends bank statement and documents as co-sponsor.

In fact I will like to have your email for more clarification on this.Mine is bafidel@yahoo.com

Sorry for my lengthy words...while I thank you in advance

Please, does anyone know how long it takes the Austrian ministry in Austria to finish processing applications for residence permit? The Austrian embassy already sent my application for residence permit to the Austrian ministry in Austria and I have not heard from them, this is one month now... Please, who knows how long this takes for residence permit application? This Austrian application stuff is soooo long and complicated, from foreign affairs, to ministry of education to legalization to lawyer to verification..(I've done them all) I don tire... I think I am beginning to grow white hair(lol) and I hope I don't get hypertension or high blood pressure!! haha.. I hope my efforts have not been in vein ohh!! Because I already did all the embassy asked for.. But why is it taking so long time to get answer from the Austrian ministry if my residence permit has been granted or not. Anybody with useful information should please contribute. Thanks in advance

@KHUNLEHZY

jejet: Just came across this post. Germany student visa is not complicated, just as simple as ABC as I got my study visa in June this year. So only those who have gone through the process should contribute and not complicate issue for potential applicant.
I applied to 4 universities via Uni Assist and I have so far recieved admission offer from 3 of them. Immediately I revieved the first admission letter from one of the universities I began my visa processing to save my time even though I don't intend to attend that university. I got the admission offer from the one I intend to attend yesterday though both are in the same federal state so I wont have complication with my paper works; cos the visa carries the name of the school with which I used to apply. I contacted the embassy via telephone immediately about this and the man at the visa section assured me that I wont have problem with the foreigners office in Germany.
Immediately I got the letter of offer from the university, i went to the German consulate in Lagos to open the student block account. The lady at the reception gave me the deutsche bank form and i submitted it with a photocopy of my admission letter and the biodata page of my international passport. I got my account details from the deutsche bank after 3 weeks. I transferred the required amount to the account and I got a confirmation of payment from the bank after 5 days. I sent the payment confirmation, passport biodata page, and photocopy of admission letter along with the request for appointment form to the consulate general via dhl. I got a response 3 days later for my appointment in 3 weeks.
On the appointment day, it was a lovely experience. Got to the consulate at 6:25am and those with student visa and family reunion were ushered in first. We went straight to the visa section and were called in one after the other. There are 4 rooms in the visa section and i was called to room 2 where a young Nigeria guy collected my document and entered my details to his computer and asked me to go sit down at the reception. After 25 minutes at the reception, a german guy came and invited me first to his office cause we are only 2 applying for student visa. The man ushered me to his office inside the consulate where he made me feel comfortable, he switched on his computer and the interview began. He read every question from the computer and he entered all my answers into the system. After the interview he stamped a page on my passport; the stamp contained the date of appointment and the visa type. He told me my application has been forwarded to the foreigners office for approval and he usherd me back the reception and l left to my home.
22 days after the interview, I got an email from the consulate to come to the consulate with a 90 days travel insurrance. I printed the email, did travel insurrance for 23k from AIICO and went to the embassy. I submitted my passport along with the travel insurance at the visa section and the lady wrote "collection at 2pm on my slip. She gave it to me and asked me to come for collection at 2pm. About 70 of us came for the collection and we were called one after the other. I got mine and the lady said your visa is approved and you will submit your passport to the foreigners office in germany after you enroll in your university to extend your visa from 90 days to 2 years. I was denied on the reason that my sponsor does not show enough proof of access to fund i.e
- cert of incorporation of the company (because my company is sponsoring me).
So my company had now given the reg docs and tax cert

However, I am changing school because canadore college always deduct $200 from applicant tuition deposit each time u request for deferment of extension. I paid $600 before (my package was returned twice last year) before it was treated for january this year and now that I requested for another offer letter , they said i must another $600 for $100 as application fee and $500 as deposit.

Although i am online trying to see what Ican get from university of saskaston

@All,

I have a challenge with the new school I decide to attend in canada.

I submitted my application for January admission (canadore college for Graduate cert in business mgt)but got denied, so I picked another school (university of lethbridge)for the same program to resume in fall, 2012.

After diligent discussion with the school, I paid my application and also arranged for my transcript to be sent to the school '' CAN YOU BELIEF THAT THE SCHOOL SAID THAT I SHOULD PRODUCE TOEFL SCORE WHICH IS NOT STATED IN THEIR WEBSITE DESPITE THAT I AM A GRADUATE). They said they only waive it for some universities in nigeria.

What do you advice that I do? Should I just go and pay another tuition deposit to my former school (canadore college) which promise to send me another letter immediately they see my payment?

I need fellow's advice on the issue concerning my school. Though, my refusal was never base on my choice institution but the school have a policy to always deduct $300 each time student defer admission.

I paid $700 in the beginning of my application then, i deferred my admission three times, now that I asked the school to defer my admission to September, 2012. The school ask me to go and pay another fee $700 that the previous amount had been exhausted.

My question now is, Can I get admission from another institution for the visa application? Uleth or Saskatchewan University.

@committee of elders in N/land, delta05, vicjustice, alalaade, toyinosho, newacca etc

I reported here that my application was denied owing to the low balance in corporate account i submitted and inability of my sponsor to give me his company registration docs.

Though, I am pleading with him to help me get the registration documents and to make sure the account balance is at least be =N=10m by the time I will be submitting in May,2012.

Contrary to this, I got a family who works as big oga in a media and also has his personal company (oil&gas) he is ready to sponsor me with all the company registration docs too.

The question now is:

-Can I use a new sponsor for this fresh application I want to submit for fall session? (how can relate him to me?), because my former sponsor is my employer
-Can I use both, making the new one to be a co-sponsor
-Can I ask this new sponsor to just help me put like 1million or 1.5million so that I can use myself as co-sponsor with my former sponsor

My former sponsor, to my own initiave is somehow proofing difficult to release the registration docs

I was refused the permit but I had requested for another session i.e fall session from my school.

Two reasons were pointed out;

- Insuffient balance in account (though, that was my own mistake-i printed the statement in a rush N780,000)

- Not satisfy sponsor's access to account ( my sponsor thot the company's reg docs are not neccesary so he didnt release them for me)

However, I had informed him anyway, he said we should sit down and look at how it will work this time.

Thanks in million, how far with your treatment.?

I just want to know if belize could be another option, though i have admission in netherland
