God is Good to me!!!!

After I sent mails to Nairobi yesterday on my son's medical status,

Medical passed message sent this evening and PPR message came in an hour after today.

Visa application submitted on 3rd April and PPR today 21st April.

I pray that all PPR hopeful will manifest sooner than imagined.

However, I want to book submission appointment on VFS site for online booking but it is saying my password is not correct.

What other medium can I use.......

1 way courier fee is not the money you're paying to DHL for sending, but the money VFS will use to send back your passport.

You pay transmission fee if where you're sending your documents is different from the where you had your biometrics

2 way courier service is cheaper but VFS are saying they have stopped it, though someone in this thread used it few days ago I guess.

I don't think DHL will open on Monday

You can always check VFS website for updates

Exactly my son's status now......

XtraordinaryGen:
It looks like for almost one week now, visa officers haven't approved any application. I'm no longer seeing PPR alerts 🤦

I also want to ask:
If someone did upfront medicals before submitting application and after some weeks, received medical request on his portal... Is it possible that he/she can pass the medicals and still be refused visa?

This is me trying to give myself hope😭

Good Evening my people,

I need your clarification.

I submitted my son's study visa application with upfront medical acknowledgement sheet on Sunday 2nd of April and he did biometrics on Thursday 6th April, this evening I got a mail of Medical Report Instruction with a Medical form underneath.

Note: I have collected the hard copy of the medical result on Thursday on his way from biometrics center.

I have uploaded the physical medical report I collected from Qlife via Webform.

Hope this is a positive sign?

Bobomaigida:

Yes you have to book an appointment for biometrics and that is after you have received your biometrics letter after submitting your application.
There is only one center in Lagos which VFS centre in Lekki, you can google it to get the exact address.

@Makano, Chief

You are really doing a great job on this platform.

I am sponsoring my son to a diploma program in Engineering at Lethbridge College which I have secured his admission offer and just about to pay the initial $1000 cad tuition deposit. He will be 17 year by September 2023 which is also his period of resumption.

Currently, he is in a private university in Nigeria studying Mechatronics Engineering.

Please, I need you for some advice.

[quote author=makano post=121227082]Hello adefunke

What exactly is the purpose of submitting blank receipts?

Your receipts must contain the several payments made by your customers, this will help especially if you have vast amounts of money (payments) made into your accounts to avoid refusals cos of lump sums.

Peace

Exactly my thinking.

Using uncle as Co sponsor should be cool

folmus:

Better with uncle as co sponsor. Corporate sponsorship is a feeble one as a company can liquidate so what happens to her? Corporate sponsor is better on a B1/2 Visa when attending a conference, symposium etc. However, a statement like: "my current employer has also earmarked so so amount of money to support me through out my studies as part of my contributions to the company" can suffix.
Travel / Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 12 by tolyem(m): 10:39pm On Jul 09, 2017
But can she add her uncle as Co sponsor or go for corporate sponsorship directly

gaviria:

Self sponsor.

Hello Festus and Lagosismyhome,

What sponsor should a 40yrs Masters applicant who already have good numbers of managerial corporate experience married with two kid....his office is ready to sponsor her, her uncle also, and she also have some money with her too

Fellow NLders,

I am prospecting a Graduate Certificate in Business Program at University of Michigan, Flint Campus for Fall2015. I choose a Graduate Certificate Program because, I currently have HND Accountancy (upper credit) with 10 year corporate experience.

I would like to know if there is anyone that have gotten Study Visa with a Graduate Certificate Program on the America student visa...... I am very sure of that in the Canada Forum.

Regards.

Thanks Brother,
What I want to be encouraged on is wether the PGD in Business Administration is not too narrow unlike the well pronounced courses like Buz mgt, International buz mgt and global buz mgt?

ChriGo: ......Compliment my chairman.....I believe the course isn't the problem....PG isnt bad at all....Fislag was an HND graduate too and was denied at first........her previous course was HRM and still going for HRM....she modified her SOP well and made sure its a very convincing one....I would advice you work more on the SOP and the financial aspect as well.....Remember, prayers is the master key to unlock your TRV.......sorry Fislag, got the full gist from miss bon grin.........
