Please I will like  to inquire if those of us (Jan hopeful) that have gotten our new defferal letter should go ahead to submit our letter to CDHC ( I want to submit thru UPS tommorow).

I discovered that the mail we sent to notify cdhc that ''our start dates had expired'' and asking if we could go ahead and get a defferal which suppose to be the next step.

CDHC has been sending an auto responce does:

You would be advised should further documentation be required of you.

@Tolyem: i do not think it is necessary to submit your wife/children's international passport, it is absolutely unnecessary! the marriage and birth certs are perfectly OK. just relax, God is in control. yeah, your house approve plan or other documents are okay, you can send them, hope they are in your name sha, or else, a letter explaining the different names should be included. All the best bro!

Do you advice if i could submit the new acceptance letter and my house approved plan(its in my name) today or tommorow. The extended date given to me by the school is friday 20th January, 2012.

Pls all, can I submit tommorow or wait till cdhc ask me to do so, my new date if April 30th, 2012

Thanks for your concern, to be candid we are also keen on your application too. I pray we shall laugh it off at the end of the day, but e no easy ooooo. I just want to relax for today and wednesday before I forward the mail my school sent to me aknowledging my deferral to CDHC (Though the new acceptance letter will come latest next week tuesday).

I will be submitting the new acceptance letter with original copies of APPROVED PLAN OF MY HOUSE and possibly photocopies of my wife and children's international passport pages although I have submitted family photos, birth certificates, marriage certificates during the first submission.

Has anyone been called for medical call-up this week.

I am afraid if they will do that in first week of January, 2012. Any advice for someone like me who is to resume by 20th January(extended date) ?

Dont submit the application, coz it will definately be returned. Just beg the school to give you another with an advance date, going by my calculation, it does not meet the three months thing, even the processing time is more than 3 months.

On the issue of bank stattee no probs if unless you are sponsoring yursef and you havent pay any fees (not just deposit) but if u have paid the first semester fees then u are good to go

You will need to submit a photocopy of the cert of registration but it will be more honored if you notarized it too to make more acceptable.

Also, you will need to make a court sponsor's affidafit by your dad.

Submitt on time so that yours wont like ours ooooo ( January hopefuls)

I pray this is our week, but I suggest we start planning for extention of the start dates with our schools ( I have done mine already).

If we get the medical invites now, we are till good to go. Our G O D is in control

How far with yur application, the cdhc latest processing time is worrisome. I am thinking of pursuing my visa in Netherland ( they gave me admission for 2 yrs post gradaute study admission) but i postponed it because of Canada pursuit.

I am also thinking of Australia study permit too, but my problem is gre and other stringent qualifications needed for ausies admission process.

Congrats! I know God does surprises everytime, your is one of it and I tap into it to.

At least i ve seen that got TRV without medical. I think it all depends on the packaging of the application.

I pray God will favour us too and our expectations, the only question that greets my mind is that most NLders that applied for this January admission, myself inclusive, are yet to be called for medical. Even applicants with maple too. I hope cdhc can help us hasting the process between now and tuesday nextweek.

With past experience, Asalu clinic will be good, infact I wish to book for my medical in preparation for my on-coming medial call-up IJN

The V/I clinic is faster in sending their medical test to paris, although, my friends that left in september used Marien anyway

I am feeling unrest these days on this issue of no medical call yet ( most schools will ask for payment from defferals, i paid for defering my till Jan$100+$200 for non appearance in Fall semester, ).

Should incase we were not called for medical this week, is it advisable to just extend the resumption from 9th Jan to 23rd Jan since my admission letter is reading only one resumption date or do you think deffering the program till May semester is the best?

This processing period elongation will create much inconvinience oooooo

I dont know if this worth to rely on but i think it might give a little breathing space for those of us expecting medical call-up.

My colleague and her brother received their packages from cdhc yesterday (submitted in June for fall but not call for medical since making 5 months), they were denied on the basis that there is no intention to return. both of them used their relations in australia and south africa respectively, although, they didnt submit anything like home ties at all.

I think if cdhc can purge-out all Fall session applications pending with them, they might have fresh time to attend to us ( though, i am thinking of getting an extended date from my school sha- say like two weeks extension).

I have sent two mails, they replied that my application is on queue and will be decided upon soonest. They also sent a CASE NUMBER (they said i should be qouting this on all my subsequent mails.

I really prayed that my medical notification come latest friday this week- with this i am sure of not going thru the process of getting an extension of my resumption date from 9th Jan to sometime around ending of that month, say like 24-27th Jan, 2012.

@ Cycline404, allexy2, Tolyem and all other medical hopfuls both silent and rest, the clock is ticking, What's up? What's going on? Its about 5 weeks to most resumption dates and nothing yet? Pls u guys should keep us posted on the latest infos in CDHC cuz I am gradually running outta patience. I mean, does it make sense if one goes to CDHC to enquire abt his application? Cuz an email I sent last week says its still in process. Its over 2 months now buddy, Whatchu all think is the best step to take at this point in time? Any suggestion abeg,

I think we need to send CDHC reminder again and again because the time is ticking very fast. Though its never a bad thing to visit their office, but i can't make it to that place because of my office location (far from V.I).

But, i know CDHC will do what Snuteria said in his last message (they will start sending medical letter with that strange message of non-verification).

Let send them reminder, then relax and watch.

the truth is this, once you can go through the pages on this thread, then all required answers will be found explicitly. However, there is nothing like "surest embassy" it just the embassy in Lagos here or ghana if you choose to.

Just log-on to search for universities and colleges in canada (check for your choice province), check the school requirements for the chosen program.

I want to be clear if you sent your package via Fedex? Because i got a mail from Fedex last week telling me that i have a package but my address is unknown (though, i take this tyo be a scam)

It wasn't from cdhc and i didnt use fedex, i used UPS instead.

Now the rain of medical invites has started, I pray that God in his infinite mercies shall remember us all. Though, what will be-will be, but God can make mountain from the valley.

You have to make an affidavit of sponsor through the court and your sponsor have a place there to sign ( wether he bares yur name or not). For the bank statement, it is stated on cdhc site that your bank statee has to be a month ending before your submission date or as at the month of submission.

I think your police certificate will still be valid since its for 3 months cover. Anyway, I had the same problem during the fall session, but I have submitted a fresh one this time.

I got a letter from CDHC yesterday, they asked me to go and pay my full tuition fee and send them the receipt within 30days.
what does it mean? does it mean they want to give you the visa and all. I was suppose to resume in September but i deferred till January. If any other person has any thots please reply


thats a good question, if you have done your medicals, then the coast is clear. You are very good to go.
