It's 0%APR paid in 48 months, 41GBp per month. Payment for the sim is the same as buying data and a call plan.

To the best of knowledge a student can’t on credit payments the first 1-3 months or even more . I picked the iPhone 14 pro at the apples store couple of months back , My first option was to use the credit approach but was later told I need to must have been in the UK for 3 years.

Other companies / ISPs might accept you but there are chances of high APR . Which on a long run no economical for such liability.

Hello house.

Please I need a precise response to my question, edakun…

How soon can one start applying for the Nigerian passport renewal in the UK given the long wait time (of getting appointment and processing etc.) so I can plan accordingly?

My Nigerian passport will expire on 02/Oct/2023 but I think I read somewhere that one can start applying from 6 months before expiry date, which in my case would be sometime from April 2023.

I intend to travel out of UK this summer between July to September 2023 and I know that some of these countries require my passport to be valid for 6 months.

To avoid stories that touch, abeg how soon is too soon to apply? Thanks in advance!

It’s still 6 month . I don’t know much about the passport office in London but in Nigeria just don’t go to overpopulated regions like Lagos in order to get it fast.

When you are ready for the final leg, use this: Lemonade Finance: https://referral.lemonade.finance/invite/Syg8

..and after the final leg, use this to get your AMEX credit card: https://americanexpress.com/en-gb/referral/dAVIdEzYpk?XL=MNMNS

grin

Isn’t it too early to start talking about AMEX card ?

You risk your UK bank shutting you down because of the cryptocurrency connection.

I chatted Revolut and they told me they support inward money received via cryptocurrency.

Please don’t consider this as optimal advice. Use with caution.

Best of luck bro! I'm confident you'll get in. It can be quite competitive but I know that the team works to push applications behind the scenes.

You can also look into joining SEO London. Their Beyond Barriers program just opened.

Man, Is the a meet up group or on Linkedln ?

Hi guys,

Please would it raise flags if I received like £9000 in my account?

I want to sell some USDT.

I use revolut, monzo and Lloyds just incase it would make any difference.

Please help.

Thanks

Split it up, don't take all in at once.
I'd recommend you use Revolut, It's my most preferred since binance have that option, that makes it even easier.

- Confirm that the buyer has done quite good amount of transactions with 90+ success rate in rating.

Credit score is about how best you utilise credits and repay back promptly not necessarily a measure of your cash inflows.

1. Do you pay your bills via direct debit promptly?
2. Do you have a credit card facility? How much do you spend from the limit?
3. Do you apply and get rejected for credit facilities very often?
4. Do you have multiple accounts and have you closed any recently?
5. Are you on the electoral roll?
6. Do you move homes very often?

Some questions you need to answer to get the reason why your score is low.

Note also that there are about 4 credit reporting agencies in UK and their scores are not at the same level.

1. yes , I have my internet bill on DD
2 . My score is low. I once try to get Amex but got rejected . So I’m giving it room ( months ) to try improve on credit before going on another trial.
3. Answered
4. No. Even though I was almost trying Bank scalping couple of months back due to juicy offers just moving banks . But I didn’t.
5. Yes , I registered on ER recently.
6. I’ve only been here for less than 3 months. That might have well add to it. And literally just paying rents approximately 2 months ago after staying in the hotel for a month .

I believe ClearScore uses Experian . That’s the only credit agent I’m currently reporting to using creditladder free plan.

I guess I've been lucky with my credit score. Its 572 and I'm just under 2 months in the country.

I opened 3 accounts and had a significant inflow of about £5k so I don't know if that helped.

Are these Main Street banks or digital banks ? I received quite good inflow as-well but checking with ClearScore isn’t as up to that.

There are people buying here at good rates. Just use an escrow unless you feel the trader has enough history to risk a direct trade.
I also buy but I've paused for now as I have more funds than I can easily get rid with the current market rates.
There are no dollar ATMs in Nigeria. You'd have to travel abroad to withdraw USD from an ATM.

Thanks for your contribution, I’m happy people are buying it now. It’s a lot of hard work getting it sold in last few years.

Yes , I’m not in Nigeria at the moment and most ATM here support only British pounds.

No way. Unless you use it to fund an American fintech platform that accepts our cards, which you'd lose at least 3% before whatever other fees to send. Even if someone knew it here it'd be a trade secret and not something they'd share.

I don’t mind loosing 3 percent . I can’t also find dollar ATM close by . So I’m ok trading it for something.
Thanks for your contribution

Better interface and user experience.
More stocks.

Only disadvantage of Trading 212 I can think of is that as a Nigerian, you're limited to how much you can deposit in your account at a time

Get a UBA dollar card.

Crazy to think the bank would loan you money for a startup with no traction. Banks don't lose money! It's not just in Nigeria but throughout the world. You need to go through private investors or through friends and family (Fastest way).

You need to gain tractions man, You can aswell check out how I got funded series on @ingressivecap. That would help you on how the games gets played better.
