This is just witch-hunting, Nothing more. Didn't they know he was falsely declared before now?... Something that happened like twelve years ago is being revisited again just because he went against his party, they would still be singing his praises and referring to him as a "progressive". Pleeeeeseeee...
Witch-hunting? No, no, no, far from it.....this is justice, I am cocck-sure that the good people of Kwara are rejoicing on this cheering news...

Saraki is going no where. He'll remain the Senate president. All these are just noises.
grin grin Severus abeg comot for my front joor grin Saraki has no business being your SP in the first place....it's a pity you don't know him. The case dangling on his neck like 99-carat gold will eventually sink him. Forget the niggi bro cheesy

EdCure:
I won't be surprised when, after all these needless brouhaha, Saraki still remains the SP. Afterall, Nigeria is a country where citizens wait for nature and karma to decide the fate of political actors instead of insisting on the enforcement of existing laws and procedural rules.

God save our country!
My brother this one is a different case......as a matter of fact by this coming Friday a New Senate President would have emerged. Saraki is a goner cool

Politics › Re: OPINION: Why The Law Is Not On Saraki’s Side By Lawyer Idahosa Anthony by tomakint: 2:07am On Sep 19, 2015
The question is this, why the sudden change of heart just a day for Saraki to appear before the Tribunal and clear his name from those 13-count charges? Did he have an inkling he may be nabbed? Was he advised by his lawyers to shun the invitation he had already mooted to honour? Why did he choose a Court of parallel powers with the CCB to try to stop his trial? It is very certain Saraki knew the GAME is up....so much for excessive greed for power when you know you are stained. Cc: TonyeBarcanista

Oh! How much he loved his better half. What a world.......we all must die after tasting both the bitter and sweet pills of life. My prayer is, may we all have every reason to be happy in this our short time in this market place we call, EARTH, before we all take the final abode home (AMEN)!

Politics › Re: The CCB's Ongoing Prosecution of Saraki Is Constitutional by tomakint: 12:28am On Sep 19, 2015
TonyeBarcanista:
Well, though the law does not say he 'MUST' appoint minister but bros, we can't afford running without ministers.

Saraki should come to terms with his fate grin!
We are saying the same thing bro......of course if he runs a Ministerless government he will run Nigeria aground on the longrun, going by the antecedents of civil servants-the most corrupt set of workforce in Africa grin
Politics › Re: The CCB's Ongoing Prosecution of Saraki Is Constitutional by tomakint: 11:31pm On Sep 18, 2015
@ barcanista, many are not even aware that if Buhari choose to run his government without Ministers, he can still use the law to back himself up....@ topic, the justification of Saraki's summon and trial by the CCB despite the absence of the Attorney-General is within the law .......Saraki in his next life would rather prefer to be a Togolese.

You'll be surprise to know that...the people that will stand up for him might be the least senators in the chambers.... Saraki has a good political ambition and wouldn't let it slip off like GEJ did... Take note!
It will even surprise you more to know that as it stands now, Saraki is gradually inching towards being impeached.....can't you notice the silence of his close Associates in the Senate? Buhari is not smiling......take a look bro cool

TonyeBarcanista:
Tomakint is right. You need the Ministry of Justice/AGF's office to okay criminal proceedings. In his absence, the MOST senior/authorised officer(Solicito-General) function in that capacity.
Barca to the rescue wink @ nationwide1, I am sorry, rummaging through my files for some proofs could be burdensome, hence my suggestions through google.

Can you please quote the section of the constitution for me? Thanks.
I am sorry I can't right away but you can google these keywords 'the mode of operation of the Code of Conduct Bureau against offenders'......
Politics › Re: The Saraki Brouhaha: Buhari Might Be Setting Himself Up For Impeachment by tomakint:
It's a pity we have many naive-minded commentators lately on the cyberspace....this writer had forgotten that in the absence of an Attorney-General, the most Senior Officer in the CCB can act in the capacity of the AG. The issue at stake here demands urgency towards a staggering case (billions of dollars accrued to a single noble thief), even Tinubu appeared in the dock in this same CCT when he was served his notice. So who the hell is this spoilt brat forming one god against the Law of the Land?

For Saraki mind now, he is throwing up some jabs grin grin Like my friend Chukwudi44 will say, 'Saraki will not bow without a fight' but this is like pouring more petrol into a blazing fire.....by the time the collabo of Buhari and Tinubu are done with the clannish, arrogant Saraki, he will look like this......grin grin

Tomakint, na you dey talk like this? Someone stole your handle or perhaps I misunderstood you for one of those who automatically supports everything/everyone. The funny thing was that I was one of those who suggested Saraki, because of his charisma, might be a decent choice for senate President.
Gbawe, it is still the same Tomakint you know well. I was once residing in Ilorin so I know A LOT about the arrogant and diabolical Bukola Saraki. I am flexible

Saraki will never go to jail, they just want him out of that office which i hope it will be decided today
If the arrest warrant is issue today,Saraki can not be senate president again
Don't even try that 'Saraki will never go to jail' stance......this Saraki you see today is on his way to Kuje or Kirikiri Maximum Prison grin

Do you know this Saraki's debacle was extensively revealed to me by an APC Chieftain when I was on official assignment to Makurdi grin next will be Toyin Saraki, Dino Melaye, Jimoh Ibrahim (a wasteful bastard who couldn't manage National Asset offered him almost free), then the criminals you listed above. I love watching these type of movies grin

Now that's justice, wink Barcanista you sef dey enjoy this movie grin thank God Saraki is toast as I predicted earlier, Ike Ekweremade will be the tentative Senate President and is likely to retain it based on conditions set before him (one of which will be cross-carpeting)! Now, that escalated so quick. I just hope they have a good case against him, because Saraki has a powerful team of lawyers.
The CCB had better have a good case against him because, if they fail to prove their case, they may end up rendering him popular. We don't want such situation.
Saraki is a gonner my niggur....Buhari & Osinbajo are not smiling.....

Patronising? The only entity this article is patronising is Nigeria, Kwara state people and the victims of SGB. It is also a testament that the new and restructured PDP will not tolerate nor condone corrupt practices and will support legal processes to be followed against any accused person instead of press/media trial.
Yeah.....I think the next question should be, who is going to be the new Senate President?
Politics › Re: Saraki Fails To Stop Trial: Set To Be Arraigned Today by tomakint: 11:52am On Sep 18, 2015
Once you are a rapacious fellow, your sin must surely find you out. Saraki waited too long.....he remins the only unpopular Senate President and probbly the one with the shortest reign in Nigeria history. Adieu Saraki!!
Politics › Re: APC Backs Saraki, Debunks Corruption Claims by tomakint: 8:54am On Sep 18, 2015
Which APC? Which Nigerians is this miserable Chieftain talking about? Why can't Saraki go and clear his soiled names once and for all instead of these unnecessary mind games..........perhaps he wants to be forced! These politicians are mindless species of humans.....for crying out loud, we are talking about billions directly linked to one greedy Senator here with no legal means of ownership huh
