All this beer parlour talk.

Bartender what's on the menu?

Bartender:Sir,we have smoked goat head, tasty cow tail, fresh horse hoof, sizzling Australian crocs, beefy billy goat from Ethiopia, spicy ruminants from the rare french nightingale as well as grilled polar bear(directly from the northern hemisphere)

Me:Wow!that's some meal you've got.anything light?

**steps out for 3mins**

Bartender:Sir,we have the hot and deliciously nutritious madagascar parrot

Me:really?

Bartender:it's what some of our prestigious clients just ate.

Me: like who?

Bartender:For starters,Efe,Idowu,El,Bright even my boss Jackpot just ordered it for himself and his chic

Me:**thinking** if i eat this madagascar parrot i just might end up like this fellas talking everywhere and anywhere
suddenly the bartender whispers to my hearing Bin gbagbo is his biggest customer

That does it for me

Me:Don't bother i'll simply savour the moment

Enjoy

Hmmmm
As much as the Jerry rawlings option seeem palatable,I'm no murderer not to mention mass murderer.i definitely have to find any incriminating material on high ranking politicians

One of my first acts will be to appoint technocrats into my govt(square pegs in square holes)

Drastically reduce the number of ministries in the federal govt

Re-assign every 'minister of state' to the post of deputy minister or even do away with it

Remove the immunity clause for every office holder including my office

pursue the 1990 Gulf war proceeds to a logical conclusion

Address the yearnings of the people but make no mistake i will never ever tolerate a boko haram brouhaha on my soil(that's a direct threat to my mandate)

Recall all my ambassadors and appoint career diplomats mainly(they must be stationed in all advanced/advancing nation)

I certainly will not accent to legislator's budget for their upkeep

Any way the poster asks what will be your first action but do understand that we run a very expensive democracy/government

PoliticsRe: VP Namadi Sambo Unhappy With Okonjo-iweala - She's Rendered Me Redundant!! by TomFord: 1:41pm On Oct 15, 2011
Last time i checked the Veep does nothing but chair meetings

he's an architect by training not a financial guru

on one hand i buy the idea you don't need to see the president to take a decision but at least they should have his number for emergency decisions

everyone should know by now that the office of the Veep is not as pivotal as that of the finance/treasury

the real reason there's an office for the Veep is simply "continuity/succession if anything goes wrong with the president" added to that is that he/she can stand in for the boss on ceremonial occasions

so he should stop ranting

RomanceRe: I'm SS (Victim Of Sickle-Cell Disease): Who Will Marry Me? by TomFord: 6:18pm On Oct 14, 2011
All i can say is stay strong and stop hiding it from your suitors

since your genotype is SS you have to find one with AA this will lead to your kids been AS at most.

your kids too need to marry AA to avoid a possible SSgene.pls stay clear from AS to avoid any of your children becoming a carrier reason been the medical expenses on them is no joke as they tend to fall ill regularly especially growing up and it could be fatal

the fact that you have conquered it means there's hope, remain resolute it is well

why 50 billion on a pink elephant project that a quarter of the unemployed can't access neither will they feel the impact.

is this iweala figure actually sound in economics and financial mgt?

why can't the money be channelled into moribund industries that will be money spinners in the medium/long term not some competition based on who has the best business idea/concept

undoubtedly,we are our enemies
BusinessRe: Nigeria To Invest $2.6bn In Indonesian Refinery Deal by TomFord: 1:15am On Oct 13, 2011
Was nigeria bullied or cajoled to invest in indonesia?the report stated that it was agreed to be built in nigeria, why the change?

what is so special there that billions have to be wasted developing a developing nation?

why is it that those in authorities can't or won't look inwards?

the other day it was small zambia making headlines preparing to bid for the distribution companies

it is becoming glaring that we are our own undoing

aloy/emeka:
Why should Nigeria build a refinery in Kebbi state? What for?. Why not renovate the one in Kaduna and serve the whole North?. Energy consumption in the south is 4x that of north because majority of the North is agrarian and they seldom use electricity, A/C, fridge, many dont have automobiles and the few who owns one, are mainly motorcycle owners.
like you took the words out of my mouth.why kebbi?i can understand lagos

beaf, what's your stand on private refineries?it doesn't seem to get govt backing

I am not insulting him ooooo. God is my witness . Retardeen odechukwu is his name ni. gaskiya

If you call Zukerberg a "Whizkid" or Bill Gates a "Geek", Osama a "Terrorist" or Warren Buffet A "Sage" Its not insulting its just an apt description of those individual.

Just like when you Call Goodluck Odechukwu Jonathan a "Retardeen" No be curse walahi
well then its quite descriptive

Nairaland GeneralRe: Why I May Not Change Nairaland's Look Anytime Soon by TomFord: 8:11pm On Oct 11, 2011
I don't know maybe its just me but i think your post was slightly dictatorial.
anyway to the matter,i think you should understand that as you climb the ladder of success you are bound to meet various resistance(like your childhood friend) the higher you climb, the louder the resistance.the way you handle this resistance defines how successful you will be.

change they say is the only constant thing.you don't necessarily have to accept it but don't resist it either.the best way is to adjust/adapt to the changes in your environs

you can start by conducting a poll as stated above or experiment to get viewers reaction, opinion etc

All the same, remember someone out there is trying hard to outsmart, outwin you
cheers
