Remove the speck in your eye before you tell your brother to remove the log in his eyes |
Jarus:Seriously mod, where you asleep? This is quite pathetic some had the guts to place their national heros along with their comments forgetting that an achievement or invention by a tribesman on an international scale is celebrated by all Nigerians even Africans. This is really alarming. Let sleeping dogs lie |
Hmmm, I just finished reading 16 pages of this topic which started out as a suggestion plea but derailed by some 'notable derailers' but the turn of events for me started with the accusations, word trading e.t.c around page 9.I went through one of the links and smh,its saddening to know people behave that way Having said that, why can't the people clamouring for pictures see beyond the veil?does it really change anything?some even said they don't mind photoshop what really is wrong with the mindset of some people?what's the biggie in having a car as a gift no matter the model?People give houses, lands and the likes every now and again so what's so special in a car gift? @op,just want to know if you eventually settled out your differences with that fx dude and do be wise in your dealings with people @topic,going by your topic header shows you want it returned, my opinion just do it.Why accept it in the first place if you knew right away you would rejected it? |
Drphemmy4u:Is that the way to treat a woman "like crap"? |
I beg to differ.Darey has good vocals that meet international standards, because his album is not commercially viable by your standards it is then a disappointing album? As for p-square,you are so wrong |
Is this another way of saying his hands are tied? |
For writing out loud, why has this thread not been locked and some characters banned? A thread like this makes front page with people raining insults on their innocent families? Please give a critique constructively without all these exchanges. It is very appalling |
Onlytruth, Your statement about hitting the lower ranks is absolutely true, case in point:the Obama-Clinton primaries Clinton literally bought the establishment(the power brokers)Their(clintons) belief been that with the top echelon fully in support of her,it was a done deal but they neglected the grassroots.Forgetting that the vote of a poor man with that of a multimillionaire is one and same. Obama on the other hand went for the grassroot and they saw hope in him,the rest we all know.Truth be told the guys at the lower cadre know things, see things and are equally a force of reckon. If you observe the organogram of the Nigerian Customs one may be swayed into thinking the top hierarchy run things(which they do to some extent)but make no mistake the lower cadre actually control stuff(lots of stuff) Enough digression @beaf don't be shocked some elements within other tribes may voice out against such action.Purging the Army of core northerners isn't that a breach of the constitution? How can this be carried out without taking the country into further abysmal? |
1968? c'mon, there are countless warships, subs and the likes which have been decommissioned in russia(as a result of the end of the cold war) why not look towards that direction?A 1968 cutter will likely cost more to maintain The navy should be strategizing on how best to do business with the russians cos time has shown they are unparalleled and unrivaled when it comes to deep sea combat as well as in surface tech btw what's wrong with your Government that it simply can not say 'thanks but no thanks' or betterstill, why not request to be taught how to build/design,operate,maintain such tech? |
Lemme get this right,he is saying that c.e.o.s of mncs should get visas cos of their investment in the country(10 year max) what happens when they resign, retire, fired, transferred etc?what becomes of the visa?wll the incoming c.e.o.s also be given 10yr limits with the cycle continuing? |
My deductions from what i have heard and read is that Jonathan is planning something big without their consent, they got to know, they decided to strike as last/first resort but the executive was a step ahead and called the military to protect all installations nationwide.hence, some parts of the country are not feeling the impact of the strike action |
Chongaiman:What is airtel's strategy? |
Why is 10,57,75,197,271 on the list? |
How viable this airline will be with government support as at when necessary coupled with its chance of surviving stiff competition remains to be seen |
Examples abound of men who voluntarily relinquished the post/office they held as a result of negligence, lost battles&war, scandals of varying degrees, mistakes,no confidence votes,mismanagement/misappropriation,supporting one group to the detriment of others and the list goes on In Africa and some parts of the Arabian peninsula extending towards Asia its a rare phenomenon for a positional leader to vacate the post to which he has been appointed, elected or selected. One begins to wonder why some men are more honourable than others, why some show a higher level of intelligence than others E.g Gordon Brown who lost an election to Obasanjo seeking a 3rd term or Musiveni of Uganda currently on his 4th or 5th term(even to the extent of changing the constitution to suit his thirst for power) Much has also been said about the Arab despots who live in such extravagance. To the question, one solution which seems attainable is a political apparatus that is not subservient to the current or future occupants of the highest office in the land.Unfortunately on the African continent this remains to be seen hence the masses/electorate take to the street in protests&demonstrations for reforms as witnessed with the on going Arab Spring The ball squarely lies in our court to demand changes as at when due |
I don't support any of the sexes been overweight(obesity) and i also don't fancy the ladies with a tree-like stature(just flat) e.g runway models(the mostly look malnourished.Hurricane andrew is enough to sweep them off the ground) i believe you can put some meat on and still look fantabolous(examples abound) just my take. |

Are you still asking? |
Is it just me?beaf seems to have nigeria's interest at heart(at least as far as this topic goes) @topic,how many defence contractors exist&are fully operational in nigeria? |
Natural:keeping it simple Artificial:ladies looking like they are on the way to a crayon festival, nails painted on each finger with bizarre colours, brows arched like a greek symbol, botox, breast implant, flaunting hair that isn't theirs, mascara(like that of the female cat tom was hitting on in 'Tom&Jerry' |
