On my way to SBN,i was captivated by a beautiful damsel, she asked if i was heading to SBN i asked who wants to know?before i know what's happening she's given me the rundown of my briefs with SBN today which includes:opening a pound domicilary a/c,request for a specific depositbox to lodge my gold, access to fundtransfer to cayman island&lastly creditfacilities to my vast biz empire.she says her bank can provide all&more, that her psyche nature shows her bank far exceeds SBN with better customer satisfaction&i couldn't get it better elsewhere.what do i do?patronise, shove her&her marketing away, consider it.be aware:she REFUSES to mention her bank |

Hmmm.notices how sparkling the lintels are.Enters&strols down to the lounge, makes a mental note of how eerie the bar has become.watches with keen as jacky makes his plea with the lagos state taxman who is bent on locking the bar.Turns head slightly and observes this rockstar wannabe, asks the cleaner who that might be;says thats one of our numeruno patronisers, acts indifferent&ask for his name says they simply call him EL G.arguement becomes heated, writes a shortnote telling Jacky i am willing to clear his debt with a reachable number 1-800-0679.looks around&shakes head disapprovingly, drops note on the table and exits bar |

Sir,a unified africa may very well be palatable but at whose expense?case in point:EU.would you describe the eu bloc as unified though it seems so on the surface?is it the disagreement in the bail out package for distressed economies or the outright refusal of member states to accomodate others to the integration programme or the common euro policy.reality is most african nations reject it in toto but welcome the notion of free trade and other benefits that may be derived.even the fellas up north(northern africa)consider it an insult to be called africans but rather prefer to be termed arabs.these are just afew issues mitigating against the continent |
Beaf, why are you always attacking your fellow man when points are raised, issues are thrown open for intelligent discourse?you can simply air your views without the verbal onslaught.after all you have reached maturity.cheers |
Is this another gadaffi illusion?btw check out those countries on the brink of a trillion dollar mark.people are there talkin US of A.how about improving the lot of member states?who's gonna give up its sovereignty(fought&bought with blood) only to be sidelined&bullied.there's really nothing stopping us(except us) from been the next trillion dollar economy.not some delusions of grandeur. |
This is a wake up call to nigerians.Never get comfortable in your comfort zone.making reference to ghana's quota system, the truth is foreign investor or not,no govt will entertain investment at the expense of her citizens.after all they own the resource, provide the environment(tax incentives etc) the investor only brings the needed cash&expertise.in brazil,a certain fixed percent is left for the local populace.one fundamental problem facing the entity called nigeria is 'putting round pegs in square holes' added to that is what can be termed Misplaced priorities. |
They actually want to borrow to buy the companies, how do they recoup their investment?is it by increasing electricity tariff astronomically?find a better buyer with the technical know how(not a mining firm |
Lol indeed |
