Oh no, don't fret now. You just have to be smart about how you break the news to her. The following scenario might help:

Act 1, scene 1: moneytalk takes wifey to her favorite restaurant and orders her very very favorite entree
Act 1, scene 2: moneytalk begins to say to wifey "ooohhh, i just want you to know just how special you are to me . . . You are absolutely the most [s]oh and by the way I bought shares in wema [/s] wonderful woman in my world, and I'm so blessed to have you . . .
Act 2, scene 1: wifey goes "huh?? you what??" but by this time is too distracted by her favorite dessert and couldn't care less . . .

A perfect ending  cheesy cheesy

Try it out and let us know how it works out for you  wink wink

Like I said yesterday, if you did not buy the Japaul Cinema ticket as adviced last week, you missed the film show. It is now at a price that profit taking is already very attractive even for someone that bought last week. It may not cool down because of the bonus rumour but I will consider that too much of a risk.

Ikeja Hotel is solid at a limit price of N6.

oga miiiiiiis, i was offered AAICO @ 4.70 today.do u think its worth it,how far can it go.kindly help.
You must be a faithful long timer before you can buy AIICO @4.70
cos you have to take note that most of the people buying into it now are short timer
and 4.70 is 37% increase in present price, so most of the poeple in that jet will start geting out at 25% and many people will get out at 30% too dat will bring about up and down in the price which will give way to CICO.
Also if we wont to compair it wit others in the sector wen it was TS @ 3.43 in nov07 crusader was around #4, wapic @ 6.50 and prestige @ 6.50, which means AIICO may get to something like #7 to #8  in the next 5 to 6months, so if you know you can take the risk  na your money
that is my 1kobo advice

As per Fof 2  INSURANCE TIME NEVER REACH -

Wait till next week, more insurance will drop- you can then buy if you have a 6 months horizon because its around that time they will release their full year. Their full year takes forever to come out.

BUt sha o - if there is a general bull run on NSE - insurance sector will also feel the effect oo, because they are small nominal stocks.  I personally will try to buy insurance when they cool down. Any bull run will definitely affect them irrespective of result release date.

You this man - you be mind reader, I almost bought UNIC today too- changed my mind .

I am waiting till next week to make a concrete decision but my eyes are open wide - remember Fo2's tip about month end interest payment, we should start feeling the effect from end of next week. (if that theory correct).

But so far that I started this thing, Insurance has paid off bountifully. The theory of nominal price effect is very true to this sector and one can take advantage of it- just restrict yourself to the fundamentally sound ones, if you have small risk apetite.

Meanwhile, lovers of C&I - is there any hope of further upward movement for the stock.
Thanks and God bless u my sister

@ father of2, aktopgun, yodi, wanaj0, pumping and all guru
what is your take on unic whit
eps = 0.19
proj pe =22.48, sector avrage =38.89
pe to growth= 0.57, sector avrage= 2.46
puting into consideration the poor result they just released,
do you think it will be a good buy for short timer if it drop another 4% to 5% today
compare with ikeja hotel, lasaco and nem

@tommy t, damoche07 & easimoni

I think what is driving Japaul is the fact that the company was going to pull the PO due to demand by the oil majors.

It should be a long term and a short term stock.

What happens short term will depend on how Japaul accommodates the majors demand  Whether by allotting from the PO or  by creating new shares by way of private placement. The latter will reduce the immediate upwards trajectory but long term will remain sound.

Happy hunting.

Samstone4 cool cool cool
thanks man
