I have my TRCN certificate already. Meaning those of us with TRCN certificate, PGDE certificate, and board approval, can get additional one step, if we meet ministry of finance.

go to the board,write application for addition of your TRCN certificate. Director of finance office will receive and effect same.

My colleagues that started this work with B.ED then, had no TRCN certificate. As a matter of fact after my PGDE, all of us wrote TRCN examination in 2019 and passed but up till TRCN has not printed our certificates even after paying all required fees for the processing.

2013 Teachers were placed on TSS,those with Education qualification one step ahead. The promotion moved your step. Those employed before 2013 had that disparity in salary scale,this is where your TRCN certificate through your application will correct. For your TRCN certificate go to their office,persist you need it for something important it will be issued. They have 3 months window period.

To move you from CONPSS to TSS you need your TRCN certificate to do that.

What must we do? Those of us that obtained PPSB study approval to acquired PGDE certificate, including Masters degree, yet still received salary based on B.sc and B.A level, pls any idea on what we must do, to receive our salary based on our current qualification.

For this job your entry qualification go determine where you start whether 8,9 or 10,BEd,MEd or PhD, promotion is based on your last grade level....if you like get 10 PhD obtain whatever kind of approval na you Sabi......

Whether you like it or not The 2023 promotion happened May/June. It's implementation/waiting period I warned us about it as well as the bottleneck in levels 16 and 17 as a major factor back then in April,2023 when I made that post. The Governor is the head of all implementable policies in the state,any how him one take do'am that one concern am. Surely everybody go get am, whether this month or later in the year,some don chop clean mouth,others dey prepare to chop so relax........

some questions here if you give answers you dignify it....how can a teacher in a professional forum drop such comment....The civil service is made up of Ministry, Department and Agency,each playing her role to achieve a common goal,with non taking undue credit for job well done. Remember the "over 4,000 civil servants used to obtain the approval" was there a press release huh

?? the moment the departments and agencies was added due to the number of staff attached,then the press release. My Advice, anytime you see a post from any of us,do a background check on the senders previous post,then you know better.

promotions in the civil service has never been one side,it's implementation the same,this kind of questions no suppose surface,since you enter this job you don hear say them promote one leave the other huh

?? that kind thing no dey....The last promotion wey happen for Rivers State na 2010/2011...The letters of promotion moved from board to supervising directors to school heads to staff with little or no stress. abegggggggg make nobody bring up this kind question again,e no make sense at all.

Relax,no stress yourself,the Senior secondary and UBE boards are Autonomous,their Directors of Admin....has the mandate to process promotions, release promotion letters signed by their office after due approvals from The civil service commission,in this case The Governor who made the pronouncment as a political point.... after yesterday's approvals from the government on the release of the promotion letters,the boards will do the needful within the stipulated time frame.

The 2013 employment,those placed on 9 are due 3 promotions,those who were promoted to 9 after the interview of 2010/2011 are due 2013,2016,2019 and 2022....ie,Those who presented promotion letters on 9,10,12,13,14,15 and 16,the commission is brainstorming on all possible solutions,since levels 16 and 17 is purely a different ball when it comes to promotions. at the end of the day, it's a win win for all.

The moment The Governor gave the directive,UBE had personnel audit where certificates were sighted,days later the form RSSSSSB submitted at the venue of the interview,UBE filled and submitted with credentials over 3 weeks ago.... your exercise is a follow-up.

Like I mentioned before, my colleague dt is on level 12 step 11 said he earns 146k after all deductions. So depending on the step they are going to give to us, if it's lower than step 11 meaning our pay will be lower.But Anyhow sha let's keep our fingers crossed.

You are Right...The promotion letter will carry step 2 as the year increases it follows,so do a deduction from 146k down to step 2....let's keep faith alive considering the years of no promotions, that the commission will place us on at least step 6 and above.

The Governor's approval for promotion and timeline for implementation brought everything forward, with the bottleneck around promotions after the interview,you wait close to One year for the letters to be released,then the unending wait for implementation.ie implementation might come before the letters are released....For level 12 salary do not count your chicks before they are hatched, colleagues who are on 12 and 13 currently should please drop how much those levels earn.

The state government stopped all dues moving from their employees to all labour Union as the fight went on,after settlement, the government allowed the Union to make the deductions at source.... For the month of December there will be no deductions. if their money don complete it will stop,if not...... Thereafter a little addition.
