Is it not better for you to keep your bad character at home rather than disgracing your ancestors, father and entire family outside?

No wonder y1bos do not see any shame in disgracing Nigeria all over the world, spoiling our good name.
The term and ashawo are Yoruba words

That is Yoruba gift to Nigeria

Actually this is a victory over Igbo's dying language.

Igbo is restricted to SE Nigeria, and even then, they've acculturated themselves with pidgin and Yoruba language.

Yoruba is not only spoken in English, it's even being taught in USA/Europe, so why should BBC ignore Yoruba?

Tell me why igbo people are crying on BBCAfrica about not having BBCIgbo? grin grin

PoliticsRe: Opinion: The World will be Sympathetic to Biafra by tonychristopher: 7:39pm On Nov 23, 2015
ezeagu:
Anything with the word Biafra is a source of sympathy to especially westerners. The reason being that Biafra was the first major humanitarian crisis that was broadcast all over the world and especially in Europe, it was the first major public charity call to Africa and everyone who grew up in the 1960s has at least some recollection of Biafra because of this. There was immense sympathy towards the Biafran cause from many Europeans despite many of their governments higher ups sponsoring the suppression and massacre, or genocide, against the Biafrans, who are also read as 'Ibos'. There were volunteers and even mercenaries from Europe and famously France offered a hand to Biafra.

Fast forwarding to today, as Biafra encroaches into the mainstream media of the west, thanks to the incompetence of the Federal Government of Nigeria, the narrative of Biafra as an oppressed massacred people will hold true in the western media, especially with peaceful protests and reports of such protesters being killed and the leader of the movement being jailed for a long period. It will all lead to the Biafrans being seen as the oppressed minority peacefully looking to their freedom, and, hopefully not, if it ever gets violent the Biafrans will be seen as the defence. This will also help because Biafra has already spread about the world and the patriotism to this Biafra movement can never be matched by the non-existent Nigerian patriotism, so there will be little to no voice for the Nigerians abroad.

Unfortunately, Anti-Islam sentiments are probably also going to come into play which will win favour with the conservatives overseas, especially in the United States, it seems IPOB understands that well because of their anti-Obama and general anti-Islam rhetoric.

I believe the world will side with Biafra, if you're attentive, you can see it's already setting up like that.
Nice position and that is the way it is...also when you put in Igbo technocrats scattered in western world making desucion and also the issue of Igbo killing in north

You will understand that Biafra has a genuine case

No one has confirmed that of the Lunatic Albino. Let him contest in a gubernatorial election and let us see the vote he will garner.

Asaba and all other anioma people are from Benin. Yes it is true other people also settled in those areas. But d primary settlers were bini.

http://www.ibusa.net/asaba-delta%20state.htm

The oral history of the people regards the Ikelike people who migrated from Benin as the first settlers on the land which is today called Asaba. There was Ugboma often regarded as the second settler migrant from Achata in Awka District he settled in Obodo Achala still in existence today but due to ceaseless wars which took place many of these settlers resettled in Achala-Igbuzo, Okpanam and Kwala where they can still be found today. Ugboma was the second settler.

http://www.ibusa.net/asaba-delta%20state.htm
OK let's assume they are Benin ...how come they speak Igbo with Igbo culture?

Did Igbo colonise them or brainwash them

I think you are insulting anioma people indirectly by saying they are daft for forgetting their languages and culture

The is d problem with you. One of d reason you wont achieve Biafra. because of ur pride u make people who would have helped u achieve ur aim ur enemy.

You are going as far as insulting or reducing Nnamdi Azikiwe just to drive home ur emotional point.

If according to u Ojukwu and Nnamdi Kanu are d greatest Igbo men, that put Nnamdi Azikiwe as third greatest right?

But Ojukwu and Nnamdi Kanu are not from Onitsha.

Nnamdi Azikiwe is from Onitsha. That makes him the greatest Onitsha man in History.

So when it comes to Onitsha ,Nnamdi Azikiwe opinion of his history is d Authority.
So zik was obi of Onitsha the custodian of culture

Do u reason with your blokos?

Your question does not make a single sense.
Asaba is from d word Asabo (Meaning you cannot) in Benin. This was named by Ohime (Eze chima) on his way to Onitsha because he could not cross river Niger. That was before Igala people came and help him cross.

Secondly ur question make no sense. Urhobo people dont argue that they are not from Bini. Yet the word Effurun an Urhobo town has no meaning in Benin. Does that mean Urhobo people are no longer from Bini?
So you have baptised Eze chima ohime ....nawa ugomba I told you that they will rewrite history

OK tell us the meaning of onicha in Benin ..and maybe Benin established the onicha in IMO, anambra , Enugu and ebonyi with abia

Do you know we have onicha in those states
