This is a case of an incurable addiction. My friend is married, working with Federal Government (Level 7 officer), yet he impregnated 2 girls. 1 of them is a Unilag student and her parents are insisting she must not abort.

Despite all these romance scandals, he still hasn’t repented. When he sees a new lady, he will start behaving like he goat. He will lose concentration and start behaving in a funny way. He will not rest until he get the girl’s telephone number.

The issue
Few weeks ago, I received messages from 2 Loan company threatening me to tell my friend to come and pay his loan or they arrest me. He submitted my number as guarantor without my consent. I called him to ask why. He said he was struggling to pay for his school fees. He is currently doing his Masters at UI.

To my dismay, Last Week, I got additional messages from 5 different Loan companies. My phone is clogged with many warning/threat messages from Loan companies. One of them even gave me 2 days before they come to my house. I don’t know how they got my address.
I went to my friend’s house dragged him. Asked him to follow me to a nearby police station. He wants to ruin my life. He became sober. He started confessing. He even told me he is tired of life, he wants to commit suicide. Anxiously, I asked “What do you do with all these cash?” He claimed he spent it on his Masters program.

It was hard to believe, I kept pressing, he later confessed he actually spent the money on dates and hook-ups. Whenever he need to fck, he will just go online order for girls and look for a loan company and apply. He get the cash immediately. He also sponsored one of his girlfriends birthday by getting soko instant loan.

The final shocker of my life came when he mistakenly said “As I am now, 40 Loan companies are after my life. I am considering suicide sef”. It was as if somebody slapped me. I first thought he was joking. I asked “Are loan companies in Nigeria even up to 40?”. He answered “they are more than 300 sef”. Imagine, these mdfckin Loan companies where just disbursing cash to this idiat.
The mdfckin didn’t know why I was looking dejected. He thought I was sad for him, he didn’t know I was scare of all the 40 Loan companies coming to threatening me later.

I am really in soup. How do I protect myself from these Loan Companies.

Nothing is working, no light, diesel is not affordable again,no water, even pure water factories have stopped working bcoz of high cost of diesel....BRT have stopped working since yesterday, small scale businesses are folding up, food are getting unaffordable, no security as ppl r getting killed especially by any means of travelling either by air, road or train, drugs r not affordable again as ordinary malaria drug nw sell for at least 2k for d cheapest

I wanted to travel sef and my guys from the East were asking me to use the train and that Abuja road wasn't safe.
Now look what happened no were is safe.

I saw a thief in action two days ago. It happened at the main gate of a 4-Star hotel called BEGONIA hotel in Oyo town. The hotel is located along Oyo-Ibadan expressway.

About 8:20 pm that day, I was passing by the main gate of the said hotel when a guy standing in front of the gate signalled to me for a ride; I'm into Okada riding business. The street was without any passerby at the time except me, who was loitering to pick up passengers. The guy asked me to wait and he quickly went back into the hotel and resurfaced about 3 seconds later with a loaded 50 litres jerrican probably filled with diesel or engine oil. He quickly sat on my bike, dragged the jerrican, and placed it on the passenger's foot rack.

"Speed off in this direction", he shouted at me without telling me his destination let alone giving me the chance to negotiate the price for the journey.

"To where?" I asked.

"Express", he shouted at me again with the air of mounting irascibility.

That 'Express' he mentioned is a trailer park along the expressway, a thriving market for bunkered petroleum products. The direction he asked me to take was not straightforward. We had to follow some obscure streets before getting back to the expressway.

Then the insults began when he asked me to increase speed. I told him I was being cautious to avoid an accident because his heavy load was not balanced and I was using great efforts to steer the bike to safety. Then he said other riders have been engaging in high speed despite the load with ease.

Speaking my mother's tongue, "Your ilk should never be found as an Okada rider because only old men approaching the grave ride this way. I needed to get out of sight within split-seconds and you were acting like a dumb rider", he said.

He later asked me to stop in front of a shop, took the loaded jerrican inside and came back 5 minutes later. He told me his new destination, while raining more invectives on me. I had to be patient with him so that he could pay his transport fare in full -- someone that could boldly steal in a location with CCTV cameras may decide not to pay to me the amount of money I was yet to tell him. You don't need a soothsayer to tell you that the guy, in connivance with an insider, just stole something from the hotel.

I checked the hotel's website for a contact through which I can report the theft or whatever that is, and I found an email and phone numbers probably under the manager's control. If they are putting their CCTV to good use, they won't need me to report the theft. I was not trying to report the theft as a good citizen; I needed to get back at the thief because of the insults I suffered without being able to reply him. Good riddance!

Lemme ask you this, does your wife attend the same church with you? If yes, then the two of you have to go back to your pastor for counseling.

Second, don't ever report your wife to your family or even her own family. If she tells you to give her space, politely leave her to her wish. If she decides to leave the house on her own, don't force her to stay.

Before I forget, don't pity or pamper her anymore. Her kind of woman does not like a soft hearted man, it irritates them especially when it comes to being decisive. You have an obligation to control your home; your wife inclusive.

Marriage should be a thing of choice. Although, the economic reality is affecting, and most importantly, the scary stories of paternity fraud, infidelity and domestic violence is discouraging guys.

I told my mom that marriage is not my priority, I just want to live my life. If it happens fine, but if it doesn't, I am still great. Peace of mind is my priority.
